It's nice to see someone using a */10 scale where they actually use the whole range. Most of the time you see a 5/10 as being terrible. 5/10 is average by definition.
@@RickThatcher I think a lot of people (myself included) struggle a bit with rating systems out of 10 just from years of being pressured in academic grading, where all passing grades sit above 60%, "average" is considered lackluster or barely acceptable, etc. Focusing all your effort on the top 10-20% can give you a warped sense of scale.

When you compare the Mountain Creek lifts to a lot of other places, they really aren't that bad, they're quick loading, detachable, and in my experience they don't harm the bike. And also Whistler has the golden standard for pretty much everything apart from ticket value.
I love the new park rating system. What a great way to compare parks in a semi-objective way. Park "restaurants" should be used for food in emergencies only. Their primary purpose is to serve delicious cold beers. I usually grab a sammich on the way into the park. It's safer, cheaper, and most importantly faster so you can get back on the bike and shred!
Jacob Zimmerman yeah that makes sense. I hear the parks with good food and lifts spend so much money on those two things that all they can afford is fireroad. Seth I think you need to go back to the drawing board to address this very obvious flaw.
