hahahah RYAN!!!! its you!!! That skinny should have been brought up hahah 😅 Thank you so much for stopping and towing me into that drop, such a fun time and great meeting you!!!
Out of a comfort zone… Matt’s friend John, went off Drop the Hammer at night and then did it without lights. I’m freaking just watching the clip. Y’all are hero’s for being able to overcome that kind of fear.
Nice! That was Ryan Phelan towin you in!. I hit this for the first time two days before you and hooted the whole way down! I had a tow in from Erik Roman- so helpful
The spooky shark attack music on the bridge features killed me 🤣🤣🤣 Nothing beats a day of conquering new and scary features, no matter how easy or difficult they are. One persons Everest climb is another persons first blue trail. What a killer day!
Loved seeing this, I’m about to break my bike park cherry at Mountain Creek and while not ready for big drops I’m looking to put some work in on that practice area.
You are a brave rider hitting that drop. Funny thing is I had no fear of the other bridges on exodus that were freaking you out so much... but I never did the road to nowhere. I have a buddy who went the "wrong way" on that second Bushwack rock first time he rode it... destroyed a front wheel and it could have been much worse, but he walked away from it.
I'm terrified of drops that big. I'm in my 40's just starting out and looking to try this bike park in the spring. I tried a small 2ft drop once and fell. I don't even remember what I did I think I just panicked and closed my eyes 😂 I'm looking forward to trying those progression drops you showed at the end hoping it gets me over my fear.
On a vacation to Zermatt, I was crusin’ down a steep, rocky, narrow, shelf, single track and your laugh followed by a Wahoo! popped into my head. Love your channel and your enthusiasm!
Watching you handle that knife was terrifying! Probably a better chance hurting yourself cutting an avocado than riding your bike 🙃 Love the channel, great video!!
I appreciate that you reward yourself with ice cream after these mental battles. Well earned!! Now you've inspired me to push myself out of my comfort zone with my riding (although for me it is riding my bike off of something 3 feet high) LOL.
Im glad you got inspired. Three feet off the ground is still high and a great accomplishment. We all have to start small and work our way up!!! I hope you reward yourself with ice cream afterwards 😊
So happy you didn’t give up on that drop. My nine year old asked me while watching your video if I could do that and I flat out said no. Only HV can ride like that. Hmmm. Now we want ice cream! Waaaaah
Hey heather ..another great video especially with that ice cream....saw in earlier vid yer golf clubs in the back....so any chance we get a quick vid of yer golf game or is there any on any earlier vids?
Great to see you made it to Dairy Swirl! Lower Exodus is a Double Black Diamond probably because it's so high consequence with those high skinnies. I think their 14 ft of the ground. That drop on careless whisper looks like they stopped building a 3rd skinny in the middle of being halfway done! Have you ever rode Asylum?
Dairy Swirl was sooooo good! And yes those skinnies were so high I wasn't sure on the exact height. Ive done Asylum before too, so many incredible trails to be conquered out at mountain creek, love that place.
Heather you are so rad!!! Thank you for sharing your fears and conquering them!! Being out out on the trails alone is intimidating enough for me so watching you send the scaries is so badass! Also, the review about the sprinkles spoke to my heart. A true, honest, ice cream review 😂
hahaha I am glad you enjoyed my sprinkles review, its a true love for ice cream 😊 Some of my greatest moments are overcoming fears and I am so thankful I get to share them with you, thank you for watching!
Hey Heather you should check out Graham Hills Park in Westchester NY brand new skills park lots of jumping. Something to check out the next time you come to NYC area
You are a very good rider and level headed. Have you gotten hurt while trying the features that scare you? I travel around within a few hours of where I live and always ride alone. I do meet people through out my rides that show me how to hit some features.
Hey Heather, I am new to your channel. I have seen a few of your videos, great job! This one hits hone for me. I am from NY, and I have never seen the beauty that NY has to offer. Thanks for that. Also, have you ridden any if the trails in SW Virginia? If so, which ones. Bu the way, you have a lovely smile. Don
Wow, what a fantastic job you did, I appreciate that you shared this video with everybody, this is definitely a scare drop but I think that you have the courage and the skill. Congrats..!..well done.
If you’re still near the east coast area there is a nice network of trails in northern Virginia and Maryland. One I think you might really dig is Fountainhead in northern Virginia just outside of DC.
Mountain Creek Park is where the Infamous Action Park was. It was sooo dangerous, quite the storied history in the eighties. Its nickname was “Class Action Park”!
Geez that GoPro doesn't do Creek justice ... Those bridges are so much higher up in person, and this boulders are way bigger ... And I'm a good rider, but skinnies terrify me. I've been there at least 50 times and still haven't gone over that bridge on Lower Exodus. The incline is what scares me most, plus if you fall you're landing on rocks from pretty high up.
Skinnies freak me out too :) Trying more things out of my comfort zone, was feeling good, then hit a sand trap as approaching a drop and bruised the ribs :( Wasn't even the featured that got me...agh
I hate the bridge part of Exodus. They are definitely 9-10' at their highest. I can confidently say that if you fall off, you die. Hence I have walked them probably 70 times. lol
Heather the funny thing about these elevated wood skinnies is the fact it doesn’t matter what bike we are on. Skinnies are pure mental and unlike the steeps can be ridden on any bike as long as the mind is on board nice footage BTW I always look forward to your posts 💯💯💯💵💵💵💵
Exactly!!!! These are all so mental, I feel like we can all ride our bikes straight across the wood but the minute they are off the ground I freeze hahah, so mental your right!!
My uncle Rico gets 3 scoops and sings the whole way home, I don't know the song but it goes like Mock yeah... ing... yeah... bird... yeah...
Yeaaaaaahhhh Uncle Rico....Also, absolutely love that movie!!!
Lol! I had Ryan tow me in the first time too. Now have him meet you at Thunder for Ft Hill tow! He does inspire confidence.
and here i am thinking you were mad at me for not warning you about the skinny after the drop lol . Good times nice meeting you .
hahahah RYAN!!!! its you!!! That skinny should have been brought up hahah 😅 Thank you so much for stopping and towing me into that drop, such a fun time and great meeting you!!!
@@HeatherMunive i mean compared to the drop i just figured no big deal , sorry not sorry 🤣
Out of a comfort zone… Matt’s friend John, went off Drop the Hammer at night and then did it without lights. I’m freaking just watching the clip. Y’all are hero’s for being able to overcome that kind of fear.
at night without lights is crazy haha!!

Thanks for such positive vibes!!
Ryan was indeed one cool dude.
Doing awesome Heather! ✌️🚲💨🏔️
One more checked off the list. Great job! 🔥🤟🏼👍🏼🤙🏼✌🏼
You’re so brave, Heather! Hats off to you!
Love the name @50’s N shreddin
Thank you 😊
Loved seeing this, I’m about to break my bike park cherry at Mountain Creek and while not ready for big drops I’m looking to put some work in on that practice area.
You’re a bad ass! Keep it up! It’s always the best feeling when you can just send it and accomplish that goal!
Great job! Twice I've come up to that Road To Nowhere drop and chickened out and made that turn right. Not this coming season, it's time.
Congrats on checking that one off your list!
I love your confidence it's so awesome 🤘🤘💪💪🔨🔨

I can't wait to hit up that park next year and that ice cream spot would be right after lol. Biking and food spot is so good. Loving it 😍

I got out of my comfort zone just watching this. Ha! I hope Ryan sees this vid.
Hey Heather you should check out Graham Hills Park in Westchester NY brand new skills park lots of jumping. Something to check out the next time you come to NYC area
Old school diablo trails . Love it
You are a very good rider and level headed. Have you gotten hurt while trying the features that scare you? I travel around within a few hours of where I live and always ride alone. I do meet people through out my rides that show me how to hit some features.
First time you panned over to the GW bridge, I literally said “woah” out loud hahaha…

She did!!! I wish she was there she would have definitely over came some fear with those skinnies!!

hello from Belgium! great video! keep it up!!

Just rode all this, must have just missed ya. Exodus was a wild ride but really freaking fun and worth it
Skinnies freak me out too :) Trying more things out of my comfort zone, was feeling good, then hit a sand trap as approaching a drop and bruised the ribs :( Wasn't even the featured that got me...agh
ouch!! I hope your feeling better!!!
Crazy girl Heather🥰
Cool bike. Ride
Love the riding Heather. How do you keep going back and forth from the van to the car?
Thank you! A few times when I drove to mountain creek I used my uncles car and left the van at the house.
Nails are on point 💅
Thank you 💁🏻♀
We need more post ride ice cream reviews. 😀
Love ur video
Just curious are you mic up ? I wanted to start recording my enduro riding and I am buying a go pro didn’t know if I need to mic up or not ??
The Road to Nowhere drop is among my favorite at MCBP!
Sooooo intimidating but such a fun one once you overcome the fact that the landing is on that fast steep rock slab!!!
@@HeatherMunive - Yeah! Shoots you out like a connon when you land.
12:26 Thank you ♥
As a “guy” getting inspired from a “women rider” you got me so stoked to commit to “Drop the hammer” in NWA.
👏👏👏👏👏
If even you get in your head I can only imagine when I start
Video doesn't begin until 4:00 mark. Lots of dialogue throughout production.
which park is that by GW bridge?
I also call it sprinkles. A coworker calls it jimmies.. I said what’s a jimmy.
Ive recently just heard that here in jersey they call sprinkles jimmies!!!
Get spoiled ! Eat at Granny's Pancake House in Hamburg !
Dumb question, where did that car came from? Rental?
Its my uncles, I came to visit and borrowed his car to the mountain.
I hate the bridge part of Exodus. They are definitely 9-10' at their highest. I can confidently say that if you fall off, you die. Hence I have walked them probably 70 times. lol
São Paulo, Brasil 🇧🇷 🚴💨💨🙌🏻👊🏻✌🏻
Oi!!!!😊
you need Maddie to say - lets goooooo
haha I could have used her there for sure !
superaste un miedo eso se merece un buen helado jajajajajaja
Your entire zone is Disneyland. Getting out of your comfort zone is still a fairytale. Good for you, but please.
In my rv I use baby cabinet safety straps
That's a good idea!
Another awesome video! I love the positivity. Keep up the good work! 🎃MTB4LIFE
I love you.
Wait a minute... she showed up in a van, ends the video in a little suv.... lolwtf
am I crazy, or does this girl look like she could be single track samplers sister?
A drop onto a big rock.. ok. I prefer dirt.
hahah me too!!!!
