@@mariawestman9026 Conan O'Brien did a bit where he would talk about the weeks news in a soft lullaby sing-song way, he claimed it was for parents with children who cold not get to sleep late at night, and figured it doesn't matter what is said as long as it's in a comforting tone.
Ikr, my kids do this and it's so annoying I just wrap the crumbs up as I'm changing the sheets and shake them outside before putting them in the wash but guaranteed there's still a handful of crumbs when it comes out the wash haha
My nephew literally just did this with a freaking cookie as I was watching this video. I am looking at the crumbs all in my bed. My sister in law does not discipline him whatsoever. So when they come over, as loving as I try to be with him, he takes his opportunity to terrorize. He does not listen and his mother seems completely indifferent.
When I was 5-years-old, immediately after my grandmother died (I attended her Open Casket funeral), I used to regularly get telephone calls from her, whenever I walked past the beige, landline telephone in our dining room. The year was 1970. On the last time she called, my whole family was in the dining room, and when she asked how I was doing, I told her I was doing fine, and that everyone in the family was present, and also doing fine. The next time the phone rang (as I walked past), when I picked-up the receiver I heard, through the ear piece, a musical aria, as if it were sung by angels.
@user-ud6ui7zt3r Wow! What a fantastic experience for you! I am so glad you got to hear from your grandmother several times after she passed. And what a fantastic send-off she presented, with the aria. I wish you were my neighbor - you sound fascinating!
If you are NOT listening to Bedtime Stories, Run Fool!, and MrBallen's Medical Mysteries... you are missing out! If you love MrB, you'll love them. The medical mysteries is definitely my favorite but by a very small margin. They're all that good. Thanks MrB ❤❤
I'd love to, but I have an auditory processing disorder. I need visual aids when listening to things. That is why I like Mr. Ballen's actual videos. Being able to see his lips move and the addition of his physical actions to somewhat illustrate what is happening is so helpful for me.
So the dude killed her, beheaded her, and said he buried her whole body in the same place. Authorities check it out and can't find the head, pyscho dude says her spirit is using her head to haunt him and the authorities are like, "Yep, that sounds plausible and quite practical coming from you. It must be a ghost because no respectable crossbow wielding psychopath murderer could possibly be dishonest about his actions leading up to this discovery." Yep, got it.
Exactly😂😂!!! Nothing surprises me about the logic some people use to come to the conclusion that they do......Also, I notice 99.9% percent of TH-camrs form an opinion/come to a conclusion based off the limited information provided by the content without any investigation on their own. 😮😮😮...Mr TH-camr said it, so it must be true 😂😂😂
The police had a body, a weapon, a motive, a suspect, and a confession. That would be enough to secure a conviction. The bit about the murderer claiming the victim's head was haunting him... yeah, I wouldn't argue the scientific validity of that to a judge. That information might be used as psychological evidence of the murderer's guilt haunting him, but an actual decapitated head missing from a grave haunting him? I would check the guy's fridge first.
It’s hilarious. There is nothing paranormal about this story. A mentally ill man killed a young woman then fully snapped from guilt. People are so damn gullible.
ikr, bruh, japanese ghost is on a whole different level. absolutely scared the crap out of me. also, if you're brave enough you can dig japanese channel on youtube with their ghost footage. after watching that thing i would check every corner in my house 😨
I Love how he tells these stories. His voice & the details he gets into... Amazing! You sometimes feel like you're in the story! Thank You for what you do!
The subconscious mind can make you absolutely bat crap crazy from guilt. Just feels like he could only think about what he’s done and couldn’t hack it so he started imagining her voice.
Exactly. What the fuck is this? It's so clearly a psychotic person. Anybody who decapitates somebody is already clearly mentally unhinged. Yet this video humours the idea an evil spirit was haunting him?? There is speculative evidence AT BEST of a "spirit", and overwhelming evidence of a mentally insane person losing their mind.
I thoroughly enjoyed your interview with Shawn Ryan. I greatly appreciated your transparency and just how real you were. It was worth 4 hours of my attention. Thanks, man.

It used to be like that in the beginning. He has, over the years, built a bigger empire. He has a podcast that releases material on Monday and Thursday, though.

There’s no proof or any type of evidence in this story other than a police officer claiming to have been pushed. This guy was already crazy, so it’s not farfetched to think he imagined all of this
Why is that? Because a mentally unwell murderer told a fanciful story and one officer claimed to have felt a push? That's some very shaky evidence. I wouldn't want to present it to a court and attempt to convince them that it's proof of a real paranormal event. It's much too easy to poke holes in claims that aren't verifiable.
@@MarioGoatseproof in court is and should be a much more stringent standard. But just think about it more locally to you. If you knew someone who was an honest guy, never really said anything about supernatural stuff, doesn't really have a reason to lie. I certainly have people I know that I wouldn't believe and people that I 100% would believe. I guess it would be on his colleagues they probably know his character best.
@@Ben-iz9ud That's not how proof or evidence works. That's just an anecdote. If I just "took their word for it" nobody would ever go to jail cause they'd just say they didn't do it. People lie. They exaggerate. They get mistaken. They forget. They get coerced. They get influenced. A person's word is not enough to prove such a massive claim.

Well, depends on religion. I cannot recall the specific one, but in it there is the belief that humans do not become ghosts. Nevertheless, if a person dies with a deep grudge, it can cause an evil, vengeful spirit to remain. So, with that concept, if you are being haunted by a spirit, it is automatically "evil".
@@nyxitylee2094 That's the belief of MOST religions to include, but not limited to, Catholics, Baptists, Episcopalians, "Church of Christ", "Non-Denominations", well most Christian religions anyway...
@@nobody7817 *Shrugs* Most Christian religions I ever encountered (and the one I was taught) always went with the case of going to heaven or hell. 🤷 I have no recollection of ever being taught about residual spirits of grudges being left around.

This story reminds me of both Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘The Telltale Heart’ and Fyodor Dostoevsky’s ‘Crime and Punishment’ (and also a little bit of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s ‘The Rime of the Ancient Mariner’). All of them deal with how guilt haunts a person who takes the life of another.
So weird, yesterday I was thinking about how when I eat a crunchy nature granola bar, I always break it into smaller pieces before I even open the wrapper, because I want to take it out piece by piece and keep the crumbs within the package, because it is so messy.

Me either... out in the woods or in a public restroom. No way would I he in there either.
Yeah, I found that incredibly strange at the time as well. I guess he did it because he knew it wasn't an intruder, due to having been in the apartment with these events going on already. He may have been on the fence between I'm hallucinating and my apartment is haunted.

the nature Vally crunch bar in the bed is SO REAL
Ikr, my kids do this and it's so annoying I just wrap the crumbs up as I'm changing the sheets and shake them outside before putting them in the wash but guaranteed there's still a handful of crumbs when it comes out the wash haha
For me it’s the car seat
And so specific!
@user-ud6ui7zt3r
Wow! What a fantastic experience for you! I am so glad you got to hear from your grandmother several times after she passed. And what a fantastic send-off she presented, with the aria.

Never get tired of hearing Mr. Ballen. Good voice, good pace, great storytelling.
So the dude killed her, beheaded her, and said he buried her whole body in the same place. Authorities check it out and can't find the head, pyscho dude says her spirit is using her head to haunt him and the authorities are like, "Yep, that sounds plausible and quite practical coming from you. It must be a ghost because no respectable crossbow wielding psychopath murderer could possibly be dishonest about his actions leading up to this discovery."
Yep, got it.
Uhhh they followed him for a long time and saw he was acting weird
The police had a body, a weapon, a motive, a suspect, and a confession. That would be enough to secure a conviction. The bit about the murderer claiming the victim's head was haunting him... yeah, I wouldn't argue the scientific validity of that to a judge. That information might be used as psychological evidence of the murderer's guilt haunting him, but an actual decapitated head missing from a grave haunting him? I would check the guy's fridge first.
It’s hilarious. There is nothing paranormal about this story. A mentally ill man killed a young woman then fully snapped from guilt. People are so damn gullible.

Guilt is a powerful force. Whether he was genuinely being haunted or not is really immaterial. His guilt was what drove him “mad”.
after taking all of that into account, it’s no wonder they believe this is truly proof of paranormal activity.
I mean, that or the guilt of what he'd done just drove him insane.

So he killed her but thought she was an evil spirit... what a hypocrite
Ain’t that the way. 😠
