The 75 I've had for years and it's been in my garage since 2013 last time I registered it . I do start it every now and then . It's a standard transmission. The 76 is an automatic . With 70 thousand original milrles .
Great and entertaining vid. Thanks. I own a '74 Corvette, no metal floors, so no rust in this area. Will take a look at your other videos too. C3's are just beautiful.

Great job! Yes, I definitely want to see more of this car. I've had a couple of vettes and I love them. Keep up the good work. I like watching someone who's on hella budget just like me.
I was a used battery dealer for years. All you have to do to charge a dead battery is to jump it off. Hook some jumper cables up to a known good battery for a couple of minutes and it will put enough of a charge on it for the charger to read it. You don't have to take the battery out of your vehicle. I always kept one good battery around for this purpose. If you are trying to bring back an old one, you want to trickle charge it for a couple of days, regardless of what the voltage shows. After that, fast charge it for a day. The mistake people make is testing as soon as it shows 12 volts. A lot of times, that is not the actual voltage, and the battery will test bad, even if it isn't. Take your time and let it deep charge. I have brought back a 17 year old battery that came out of a car that had been sitting for nine years, and it tested perfect after sitting on the shelf for a week. I trickle charged it for three days, and fast charged it for one. I didn't even change the acid. It held at 11 volts under load. I put in a car I sold, and it worked perfectly.
@jesterr7133 I appreciate all the info. I will put that in my think bank. This battery started to take charge. But battery got really hot. Stayed warm after unhooking till it lost charge.
Now just change the tires, paint the hood and front bumper and the car looks new! And the rest will be done later in terms of maintenance. The interior was clean, it looked really good! Great video, I'm from Brazil, state of Rio Grande do Sul, city of Pelotas. I signed up here to watch your videos!

The way to save money when spray bombing a car is to get the correct paint code from the car or if it's not found on the car then call the manufacturer with the VIN and ask for it. Then go to a Auto Body Supply store (They're in every city) and give them the paint code and if possible bring a sample of the paint from the actual car (A paint chip) then they will mix up the perfect paint color for it. Buy one or two cans of the paint (Spray cans you don't need to buy gallons of it) then get some clear as well and away you go! It will match Perfectly!! The spray cans are about $20 from them for most shops that I've known. This gets the job done right or at least the color matched right the first time so you aren't buying colors that might be close etc.
