Yes Sir, you have an awesome build, done your way! I agree. Me: working on two projects, 59 Chevy Apache, Ford V-10, on an 88 short box frame and 80's step side bed. And 96 ram short bed, had to put a new frame under it, so I rebuilt the suspension the trans, engine and replaced everything but the cab, painted it myself, first time painting! Put the wrong lifters in with a high lift cam and both ground themselves down on start up! Waiting on more saving$ to finish both now, probably another year! Keep that content coming Fella's? Inspiring

I just finished mine, although it's not as grand as yours. 1988 (first gen) Chevy C1500 Silverado Step side with a 92 grill and lights. Did you add the relays to get all 4 headlights lit on the high beams? She's stripped, no rubber edging and no badges except the Blacked out Bowtie on the grill and covered in Cadillac's Black Sapphire Fire-mist. There are no flames in the paint but you'd swear you can see fire in the blackness as it rolls by. Her heart is a Chevy Performance crate 5.7 350 HO. ( Not sponsored but "LMC Trucks" is my go to. )

When you buff and use compound and get it looking great, you have to apply wax to protect what is left. If not the sun will just cook the paint. She didnt look too bad though, but at least the little one won the bet and thats all that matters, cause thats a bet she will never forget about winning.

I think I saw you Boy's today, I was in a big truck, grey, I let the engine brake roll just as this Black square body Chevy came up. They passed me by and rolled some coal from their exhaust and I barely saw time on the sitif this square body. Here's the ticker if it was you guys, we was coming up on Citra, going south...
