@@RICHOCHANGO firstly, this is a turbo era lol. Secondly, the NA V12s and V10s and V8s were louder than any turbocharged cars. Turbo chargers mute the sound quite a lot. However I would agree the turbo era of the 80s was much louder than today.
Cause 4-6 overtakes of Vettel and dozens of tries we're not shown. I watched the timing of the grid, and his time to the next driver was constantly 0.1 and below. They said this track was unforgiving and in f3 it was on fire. Here none even tried without being 1.5s faster on laptime, cause they were too afraid to spin or collect marbles -- ridiculous.
The best weekend of the year, in the year I lost my brother to covid19. Losing him gave me a yolo feeling after a while. And I bought tickets for the compleet weekend and I was lucky enough to go. What a weekend. I've never had this before. And so wonderful that my fellow countryman won the race (and got pole position). It's a dream come true. And in Spirit my brother was with me. ❤😊

I want Hamilton to lose to Max this year, not because I'm a fan of Max but simply because I hate Merc's treatment of Bottas. I have never felt so sorry for a guy in a car which is guaranteed a podium race after race more than I have felt in this race towards Bottas.

I genuinely wasn't a fan of Max at the start of this season either, but the guy deserves a shot at the championship. His performance has been 99% perfect and he'd be way ahead in the standings if it weren't for some.... external factors.
The best race of the season, The Dutch army was great for the atmosfere, no red flags, and the comparison with Monte Carlo are ungrounded, Plenty of fights in the midfield and sometimes 3 cars side by side fighting for the points. That is racing :-)
was hoping he waiting till last lap, cause they weren’t gonna put him (lewis) on softs since he had the fast lap, then bottas took it so lewis had to put for the point. Bottas also was on softs so he didn’t have to push very hard in clean air btw also, to get those purple sectors, so he should’ve waited till last lap till do it so he could’ve kept the point and lap record well race lap record. Mac has lap record i think now.
He won't do it. I suspect there is a contract clause that prohibit him from doing things like this. Perhaps bonus payments too for obeying Moaner Lewis' orders.

They did not included also 2nd pair of pitstops when HAM put medium and Max was forced to take Hards, initially Max kept a distance (4 sec) but in 10-15 laps before Meds started wearing off HAM closed the gap to merely 1.3 sec.
Top car against backmarkers. Nothing special. He had many such drives last year. They were more impressive because they were in a racing point.(Styria, Spa, Portimao, Sakhir)

The 'backmarkers' were really just the usual Williams, Haas, and Alfa cars and actually in clean air his lap times were on par with his teammate, but it is very hard to overtake here thus only P8. We saw at Bahrain that Checo really can come through the whole field with minimal issue until he gets to the Mercedes cars.

@@RICHOCHANGO firstly, this is a turbo era lol. Secondly, the NA V12s and V10s and V8s were louder than any turbocharged cars. Turbo chargers mute the sound quite a lot. However I would agree the turbo era of the 80s was much louder than today.

Cause 4-6 overtakes of Vettel and dozens of tries we're not shown. I watched the timing of the grid, and his time to the next driver was constantly 0.1 and below. They said this track was unforgiving and in f3 it was on fire. Here none even tried without being 1.5s faster on laptime, cause they were too afraid to spin or collect marbles -- ridiculous.

The best weekend of the year, in the year I lost my brother to covid19. Losing him gave me a yolo feeling after a while. And I bought tickets for the compleet weekend and I was lucky enough to go. What a weekend. I've never had this before. And so wonderful that my fellow countryman won the race (and got pole position). It's a dream come true. And in Spirit my brother was with me. ❤😊

@@fluday254 in terms of atmosphere the Dutch fans in Zandvoort knocked it out of the park. Some are oblivious to that. Not the best race, but the excitement was really high, and the track is just spectacular!

That first lap of Zandvoort with all the cars going 2 or 3 wide into the corners was amazing to watch! Hope to see Formula 1 back again next season at this great circuit!

Yeah, I think what they’re trying their hardest to avoid is the constant retirements when rosberg and hamilton collided, but it seems like they’re a bit TOO worried because it’s really showing why bottas’ smile is fading every time he reaches the podium. I’m sure the reason why he won in 2020 is because lewis retired, I’m new to f1 and i haven’t watched that race yet so correct me if i’m wrong, but dude I really don’t like merc’s treatment of Valtteri man, if George really is taking his spot then I hope it’s different. Don't want to plug but I managed to find the footage of Alonso's overtake and I uploaded it if you finally want to see it
They did not included also 2nd pair of pitstops when HAM put medium and Max was forced to take Hards, initially Max kept a distance (4 sec) but in 10-15 laps before Meds started wearing off HAM closed the gap to merely 1.3 sec.
Overtook Sainz on the last lap i think.

The 'backmarkers' were really just the usual Williams, Haas, and Alfa cars and actually in clean air his lap times were on par with his teammate, but it is very hard to overtake here thus only P8. We saw at Bahrain that Checo really can come through the whole field with minimal issue until he gets to the Mercedes cars.

@@jvsg3000 lewis wasn’t going to pit! bottas forced it by getting the fastest lap! so he actually did help out, by taking the pressure off max for the last few laps and forcing lewis to pit for the point.
@@jvsg3000 LEWIS DIDNT HAVE TO CHANGE TYRES, HE ONLY PITTED BECAUSE BOTTAS DID SO TOO AND GOT FASTEST LAP. There is literally no explanation at all for that pit stop
@@ferst262 They stopped VB to give lewis space to go for fastest lap if someone would take it from him.
Otherwise Bottas was too close behind from Lewis to give Lewis a free stop for fastest lap (if he had to defend himself)
definitely one of my favourite races so far this season, this was my first live race watching online and verstappen did amazing
