Tak-tak ki awaz (popping sounds from knees) .. is it a course for concern ?

- Once in a while you will notice a clicking sound (tak tak awaaz) in your knee joint - when you stand up, when you walk, or even when you stretch. And you may wonder - is that an indication of a bigger problem in your knee?
The answer to this question lies in another question - IS THERE PAIN ALONG WITH THE CRACKING SOUND?
YES? Then you should get your knee checked with your physician and also get the necessary tests done to understand the reason for the pain.
NO? Then you have nothing to worry about. Painless cracking sound in your knee is no different from the cracking sound in your knuckles, which is also painless. Cracking sound can come from any joint. It is not a problem, unless there is pain along with it.
Keep following. Keep watching. And always remember: Pain shouldn't be a part of your routine.

It's painless but I am worried by the way i discovered this cracking noise when I was in 10th standard and my teacher asked me to do squats as punishment for delaying the physical education project . And now I do 30 to 50 squats daily but still hear it don't know what to do .

What if there is little pain when I put pressure during stairs and when I stretch completely there is pain beneath knee cap
Check with a doctor i had a similar issue after meeting with the doctor he said it is an early stage of arthritis but it can be treated because the it is still in the beginning part

Last year I have been through a mcl surgery and now the popping sound is coming from my knee and it's hurts some times it's feels like moving nerves on my knee
