I’ve always been in incredible shape starting from the 5th grade, approximately 8 yrs ago I was diagnosed with Cervical DDD and Cervical stenosis along with cervical bone Spurs. I’m now 55, have been on pain killers for 2yrs and am so out of shape. I can’t go out like this, so with the help of people like this man and feeling like shit because of the painkillers especially I am driven to turn this around and get back in my life one of my greatest loves and releases...exercise. So, thank you Doc for the info of being able to beat these problems by starting with posture first...YOU ROCK DOC...onward and upward
I actually came to TH-cam and typed the general terms in my diagnoses, and this came up. I'm also recently diagnosed with cervical stenosis, ddd, bone Spurs, etc.. Already this channel is helping me a lot. Thanks for your comment
I just learned more from Dr. Mandell in 15 minutes than I’ve learned from multiple, multiple visits from my Personal Doctor and numerous specialists. Thank you once again Dr. M.
, his Credentials you ask, HUMAN COMPASSION for one. Let's just start there.. not saying end there , but that's a great starting point. Not to mention he's been in chronic pain himself. Again that helps more than some book worm being told what others May or May not feel. Dr. Mandell having walked in those chronic pain shoes gives me a better piece of mind in which direction he should point me to. And I go one further . Remember all the science the book worm types were spouting about the 2021 shot. Let me ask you.. do you get it now? Yes the specialists and general practitioner can and will be wrong just as anyone else. Dr. Mandell included. Compassion over PROFITS. When you see a Specialist, you can expect this... I can fix this with surgery. I've tried that road and I made a bad choice. So I'll leave my Diatribe right here .
Posture! Posture! Posture! And don’t delay. Many times you’re going to have to do your own research because medical professionals aren’t going to assist you enough. That goes for some physical therapists as well. I’ve put a collection of things together on my profile. Oftentimes the chest needs to be stretched open. Rounded shoulders has to be addressed as well. The rear shoulder muscles are often neglected. The body is a whole unit. It’s really important to address your whole body’s skeletal structure how it’s functioning. It’s not just strengthening. It’s not just stretching. It’s likely a variety of things for you. It is important to mobilize the neck and strengthen it. Just understand that that alone isn’t likely to remedy your issues significantly or in the long term. The better the whole body structure is functioning the better your neck is going to be and every other part. Having a strong flexible core is critical and maintaining good posture. Take care of yourself, get good rest, make nutrition a priority, keep hydrated and stick to your exercise routines as you would brushing your teeth continuously. Chiropractic can help as long as it’s done in conjunction with other things that you’re doing. Consult with a qualified competent health professional as necessary. Sometimes seeing a doctor of osteopathy is a good idea or someone specializing in posture. Ignoring these things will only lead to them becoming worse.
My neck was injured at birth, and my whole life has been about pain. I've tried just about everything under the sun, and nothing seems to help longer than a hour or so. But I haven't given up. These motion exercises do help. Though they don't last forever, they do help me through the day.
Living with multiple disc herniations, bone spurs, multiple spinal fractures that needed a fusion a cervical suction, lordosis and kyphosis, DISH and the pain that goes with biomechanics out of whack and nerve impingements. Swallowing is a problem, nausea, vertigo, pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, digestive problems… I won’t go on. Anyway these videos are great, when things are explained in layman’s terms by a guy that is practice and wants to genuinely help others in a sensible way I really do appreciate it❤
Sorry to hear about your painful struggles Kim! You must be a real fighter! Gosh I thought I had it bad with my neck nerve pain! Can't complain really. Never give up hope! May you find remedies to help your body heal. All the best! Greetings from New Zealand 😉
I work 40 years in food services always looking downward. I got ddd and bone spurs in back of the neck basically everything you speak of here. Thanks for all the good information here. I cant afford p.t. cause it is $40 a visit, on disability ... This video was very informative. I will be watching this often
Great video I’ve got cervical stenosis still waiting to see a surgeon to figure out more. Your information is priceless and makes me hopeful I can avoid surgery. Thank you for trying to help everyone. You be proud and hold your head high. And everyone with these problems have hope and work at your posture and exercise as he says!! Natural pain relievers do work so listen to him and ask god to help you. Prayers for everyone. Thank you Doctor Mandell for caring. You are awesome!
53yo/male: I have degeneration, spinal stenosis and spurs. Add to that a bulging disc in my C5 or C6. Had a surgery happy ortho quack doc that told me to do surgery back in 2020 when I had my first flare up. That was before I tried the first thing for relief. I literally got up and walked out of his office. Went to see a neurologist a day or so later and she said no way did I need surgery. Not sure what I did then for relief, but the pain went away. Back in July of this year, it came back with a vengeance. I had finally decided in February to lose all this weight I've been carrying around for the past 20 years and went from 275 pounds to 215 in a period of 4 months. I did with IF, low calorie, high protein, weight trained and walked 10k steps a day at least. Then my happy ass decided I needed to start running. And BAM! Hello neck pain. Its been killing me now for the past 2 months. So he isn't lying when he said to avoid running. I found his videos a few days ago. I wish I'd found him first, because I was taking the advice of other video gurus and it felt like I was about to lose my arm. After only 2 days of following his advice here, I've felt noticeable relief. And today when I felt the pain start to come upon me I did that yoga move he suggest, I think its called a downward dog. Did that for maybe 30 seconds and pain vanished. Stayed gone for nearly 2 hours. I'm hoping it goes away completely with these techniques because I'm ready to get back in the gym! Trying to get down to 200 pounds and I can't let this neck crap derail me any longer! Thanks for your videos Doc. They have helped me.
Yes,exercising is very helpful,it may not reverse but it does heal,i have been it,I added on vitamins to help,i feel better most of the days of week.weight is important too.
Dear Dr. mandell , I am a Physiotherapiest from Germany following almost every Video of you you`re a very smart Person what i really really like is the way you are explaining complex things to the people.Your Exercices are absolutly great, everyday i am practicing them with my patient in my Office.Still learning lots of things from you.I wish to visit you one day in your Office! I also was watching dr. Gregory Johnson Chiroprationer from Houstan Texas.Funny Man but totally different than your work.I just wanna say i am a very big fan of you !!! Many greethings from Germany
Thanks doc...you reminded me of something my mother always said; "Posture is important". I will utilize the pressure strengthening exercise until I see my chiropractor.
Thank you so much for providing this info. Was recently seen by ortho-neurosurgeons; they recommend C6-7 surgical repair for early C6-7 compression. Due to prior C4-5-6 repair 15 years ago, this procedure required hardware. Began praying and was led to your channel among others others who suggested alternatives to help relieve the pain. You also suggested using TENS unit, Infrared and other non pharmaceutical measures to relieve pain that I will add to my tool kit! Well, I have gone from excruciating pain (landed me in ED weekly with blood pressures dangerously high, required repeated IV Morphine, Flexeril, to get pain level down that decreased BP) to now, 2 months later on occasional Ibuprofen or Flexeril! I attribute my progress to your information. Being 60+, on no meds prior to this incidence and active, my aim is to get back to that status. Thank you again! Been sharing your channel with others! New subscriber!
I have all titanium c3 c4 c5 c6 c7 since 2011 then 2014 fell and broke c2. Iam blessed i am still suffering with nerve damage. Weather rain humity pollen all changes are painfull. I have tens unit and use on my neck and spine. What can u add dr. U are amazing. Thank u 💓
God bless you 1 million fold. Back when I was having that sensation of dizziness but wasn't feeling any discomfort or pain in the spinal region, I was kind of freaking out because I had the tingling and numbness, but it hadn't reached my neck yet. The vertigo was also quite frightening and I had no idea what was wrong. You are truly a Godsend. I was praying about this for a long time and then stumbled across that video where you said "You can't just pray about it, you have to take action" Well before I had no idea what was wrong with me, but now I do thanks to you. It was like God was speaking to me directly. Everything you have on this channel is absolute Gold, and since I've begun implementing it I've been seeing small improvements in my symptoms. It was getting to the point where I thought I was going crazy and it was really scary because it was getting worse. It's almost like God intervened right in time like he always does. I know this is going to be a long process of healing, but with your calming presence I feel as though I can get through it. Many blessings to you man of God.
I had the same symptoms as you and did not know it was from my neck. My Cervical MRI shows Cervical stenosis and a herniated disc. Did you feel weakness on your legs?
I haven't found a Doctor that ever listened to me about leg length difference in adults and took into consideration what happens when children get older and become adults and the devastation it does to our bodies. He was right and now I suffer because medicine today get it!
Thank you for this. I was told I had degenration in my spine following an MRI for a head injury (unrelated). About 8 years ago..just told they would keep an eye on it. No suggestions... No follow up. UK. Thank goodness for the real doctors of the world who do youtube videos...like you. ❤
Very informative. For 40 years I was a boxer and combat martial artist. Now my entire spine is crumbling. I have stenosis and Spurs, and degenerative discs and facets. Neck c3 and c4 stenosis. Had two fusions of c6 and c7. One posterior and one anterior. Vertigo and balance problems. Doctors throw up their hands with me, muttering you got too many problems. So I am thrilled to find your channel. Sometimes I feel there's no hope or help. You motivated me-- in fact I am getting out of bed and staggering to the bathroom and mop up the vomit from last night. I am subscribing.
Hello. I have numbness in palms, tightness in the diagram. Weakness in the legs, hyper reflexes, vertigo. Sometimes it feels like I die. I’m very scared I suspect it’s cervical myelopathy. Do you experience any of those symptoms and did those surgery’s helpful?
Sounds familiar Calvin. I've had C4-5 fusion surgery, now my #6 disc is all but gone. Worst part of it all is isn't the pain but the huge blood pressure spikes, nausea, and dizziness. I'm almost afraid to turn my head.
My God, Dr. Mandell - You Nailed it! For me for sure. I have DDD, Stenosis, and a More Narrow Than Normal Spinal Canal (per my first Cervical MRI taken in 2012), with lots of OA bone spurs on the vertebrae and facet Joints. I suffer with radiculapathy into the left arm , terrible pains in the Traps with knots and extremely painful muscles, mostly all on the left side. And Loss of the Curve of the neck to boot. Over 40 years of driving commuting to work at least 3 hours a day.
I was dx with anklosying spondylitis 28 years ago. I am currently in the process of going through surgical optiona and physical therapy. My huge loss is not being prescribed PT at the onset of this disease. I have severe numbness that is increasing . Its heart part to believe that rheumatologists do not mandate PT for those of us with AS. Ultimately my goal is to keep my mobility. Side note...I have been using a PEMF device for a decade and it has helped with pain and sleep❤
Hey brother thank you for all your knowledge! I’ve just found out I had degenerative disc disease and your videos are helping me a lot with my mental and physical. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for your love for the people. You are sharing your wisdom to help get the people healed and that's what it is all about! I am telling family about your channels. God continual blessing upon you. I'm a subscriber subscriber for life. Thank you.
When I was delivered 1942 the doctor used forceps grabbing the back of my skull at the indents and pulling me out. Looking back as a child I had neurological problems but didin't give me serious problem until my mid thirties after falling down a staircase on my back, a rear end car wreck. Fracturing C5. Found then I had cervical stenosis. Spent most of my life in pain, today I have cervical instability. I've had two cervical surgeries fusions 4 5 6. Clean out of spurs from C1 thru C7. The most help I've had is chiropractic work for relief of pain. Looking back is 20/20 for me would have stayed with chiropractic work I stopped 8 years ago. And my degeneration is worse
23 years old, my disc are fine and no bone spurs. but dealing with cervical mild foraminal stenosis in C4,C5. I was cranking out some pull ups then my left bicep and shoulder was paralyzed for bout 2 weeks... but my strength has came back. Its very frustrating being a young ,man that was always in sports and now im like this. I miss being in sports dearly, and i am also terrified about how i will be in my 40's and onwards with this condition.
finally, some advice on the dos and don'ts of cervical stenosis! One Doctor laid out how this will kill me eventually. Sounds like a terrible and very scary way to die!!
Great informative video thank you 🙂 I'm glad I didn't keep up running! I have mild (I think?) scoliosis. Often had mild back issues but nothing major. Have been struggling with nerve neck pain for the first time in my life (fun times, not!)Trying all sorts of natural solutions mixed with non-prescription pain relief (ibuprofen and paracetamol barely work but I have hope for the new meds I bought today - Won't overdo it but it will hopefully help me sleep!) Daily yoga will definitely be back on my daily to-do list. Kept slacking off and spending too much time slouched over devices... lesson learnt the hard way! Keep up the great work, cheers 🙂
What a great video as always! Love everything you do and all the awesome information you share coming from a retired RN who has severe ddd! Thank you a billion times! Ive been following and practicing things you have taught for many years with good results.👍❤️
You are the best doctor thank you for all of your advice and tips now I know That I have been doing everything right and I will just keep on keeping on. God-bless you
I’m an X-ray tech and a basketball fanatic this video just almost brought me to an emotional state because everything you said is true, hopefully you read this because I really need help fixing what’s going on;So I play pick up basketball very skilled but there’s only so much you can prevent on the floor so one day my neck hoper flex to the right which I heard a screech in my neck kind of moved it around to check if I felt pain and I was fine never iced or really stretched it after that.week later because of me getting back into work out I want to fix some imbalances before I started working out again like I use to so I went to the chiropractor after I went felt ok but then started to feel sore which they say that’s normal but the inflammation in my neck started to occur where it felt as the I had a bone of place sometime or a floating bone in my throat I went to the emergency room twice because of it they’ve scanned me gave me a CT and X-rays and the find nothing but WHY AM I IN SO MUCH PAIN I FEEL LIKE MY NEXK IS NOT SUPPORTED STABLE and the chiropractor took X-rays of my neck before and after all he kept pointing out was the fact my neck doesn’t have a natural curve all my neck plates and bones sit on top of each other so he preformed on my whole back with an aliment felt a mess the first time was stretch but wasn’t consistent a lot second time I was went got adjusted I was scared told me he saw nothing and got ajusttedever since then never when back just been learning different thinks to stretch ice an heat almost everyday along with your videos and knowledge
Hello sir I also experience the same as you feel, my neck has hyper plix, and experiencing numbness in my right toe, and pain with sciatic nerve, I can move my with no pain but still I had a numbness in my left hand finger, now I feel stock like confuse of what is going on, I miss my basketball plays. Lots of problems came out. Please advice what to do. I been in the doctor to check and check the xray result nothing found do bad with no practured seen. Don't had MRI, now very confuse.
I'm watching your program for the first time. I have neck pains constantly. The pain travels down my arms. I fell couple times on stairs. Today by watching I feel much better knowing the real cause of pains. My doctor just prescribe pain killer and muscle relaxer. Not much explaining about the root. Your show gave me confidence and hope to use the exercises that will illiminate my paid. I've already started. I went out and got black seed oil and omrgae3 and B complex. Plus I have been taking HEMP CBD oil. Together I know I'll have a better way of enjoying a Pain free life. I would pass it on to my friends, most having the same symptom's. Some worse. Sharing something very important and understanding your human body and how it works. Thank you very much for caring about others. In
Thanks for sharing your videos Dr. Mandell. I find it constructive and useful. You've mentioned infrared and ultrasound in this video, both in a same contest. What would be the typical case when you'll prefer ultra-sound over the infrared and vice versa? What would be the main differences in the application of two mentioned technologies (other than they both reduce inflammation)? Thank you!
Ok third video in a row - just want to make sure my cervical and lumbar stenosis are not going to be worse from the exercises in the other videos. Thanks
Hey,how are you? How is the journey so far? What have you done to help you? Did mri and shows all these,am not scared thou.exercise has helped with pain and vitamins as well.
Working from home during the pandemic and not having a proper work space definitely destroyed my neck which includes tinnitus and a clogged ear both on my left side. Went for an MRI and was diagnosed with severe left foraminal narrowing.
@@lilytan3832 I still have the tinnitus and my ear although better than a year ago, is still clogged at times. I’ve been doing neck exercises and also visit an upper cervical chiropractor a couple of times per month.
Thanks a million , had bad neck injury this is best help doc , use turmeric and ginger with lemon and aromatherapy oils great help and warm neck lavender bag helps , God bless you and your precious dear ones *
I slept on my tummy all my life ...38 years....can I still repair the damage or is too late? Thank you...lots of pain and swallowing problems...I work everyday to correct my posture...thank you for your videos..❤
Have been diagnosed with cervical stenosis. Symptoms of normal cs. Also, throat tightens can't breath. Pain down to shoulder blades feel like a metal band tightening around lungs. Not able to breath or move. Painful. Lips go numb and tingly then up face to eyes, eyes go blurry from outside in. Loose vision for 45 minutes to hour. On return of vision eyes super sensitive to light and movement. Also pain. Confusion/brain fog. Unable to speak clear sentences. Very disturbing. Weigh 140 lbs. 62 yrs old. Have had injury to back of head and neck, auto accident 2013. Carved with chainsaw ten years. Normal life. Didn't set on my butt. Eat healthy and moderate excercise. After MRI. Nuerologist sent me to pain management dr. He just prescribed cymbalta and gabepentin. Not what i exspected. Thought i would be getting excercise/ not drugged up. Not taking drugs. Do not want to mask want to rejuvenate and heal. Going to try these exercises. See where it leaves me. Thank You.
I would like to hear more about light therapy and remedies for arthritis, discbuldges, and stenosis, especially in the neck. I do PT, hot and cold therapy, no cane sugar and use the tens machine.
I just got diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis in my C6 and C7. Severe narrowing on the nerves with constant pain down my right arm. It’s very disheartening and I can’t sleep at night. Starting cortisol shots soon and considering surgery at this point. What exercises or stretches would you recommend in order to find some comfort? Yay for turning 40!
These are excellent - the PNF really helps! (As does heat, for me.) This is only the second one of your videos I have watched and I'm already hooked. Thank you for sharing your information with us. If you have nothing else for moist heat, would a hot water bottle do the job?
Good day Dr. Mandell, I am so happy to see a Live show. I need your help with my bone spurs in my lower spine and my left shoulder. I wake up each morning with a lot of pain in my lower spine. X-rays shows that I have numerous bone spurs in my lower back. Can you make some suggestions for me, please?
@@lambylambcurly thank you for your tip, but I need more info as I am not familiar with calc flour. Where to get it and how to use it, effectively. Thank you!
@@KiyoNanni in your case for bone spurs calc flour 6x will help a lot , take it few months , three times a day or so. These are cell salts and extremely gentle unlike anything. Even gentler than any supplements. Even given to babies.
@@lambylambcurly Thank you for your quick response, and for explaining the product and where I might be able to find it, Amazon, of course, seems to carry everything. I’ll check it out. Thanks again, very much appreciated!
Thank you very much for all the info and tips. What is the strongest antiinflamatory supplement or herb in your opinion? I have stomach ulcers, so have to stay away from meds. But also need to treat cervical spine discs and stenosis.
I’ve been in pain for over 4 years after a car slammed into the side of my car. I believe the accident caused my spine to straighten out and that is leading to disk problems and pain.
Agradecería muchísimo, si su información, que es una gran bendición, fuera en español xfavor, mil gracias por su comprension y todo el conocimiento que nos comparte! Bendiciones!
I was diagnosed with cervical stenosis and was recomended surgery. It is from C2- C5 and is 3mm at its narrowest. I am 57 and still fairly active. There is only minor stiffness and intermittent achiness. I do not have pins and needles sensations or bowel or bladder involvement, I do have some weakness in the hands, though. I worry that the surgery could lead to more surgeries and that my recovery will cause me to lose more condition. What do you think Dr.? What is the difference between a laminectomy and a laminoplasty- which is preferable?
Which surgery laminectomy or ACDF would be better for Cervical spondylosis which has resulted in multiple vertebral subluxations in the C7-T4 areas, as well as compression of the spinal cord?
👏 Good one , so much to learn , thank you so much - I do have one question for you though - how better to take care while driving and motorbiking, helmet is on and I ride for like 1hr continuous and then take a break? Haven’t done that since 2 months now but want to know- What precautions to take with these activities, please advise, thanks a lot again
I just heard that a lot of people were in an airline travel accident maybe caused by severe air turbulence at the time. How can a person prevent arthritic changes from happening after that after they have been discharged from the hospital emergency ward after they recieve physiotherapy and other follow up medical treatment in a clinic? Should they until no longer experiencing any signs and symptoms that they hvave ever been injured in that accident near their period and during their period avoid any sports? Should they avoid taking birth control pills until then too? Would doing your routine for the rest of their life in the morning be necessary for them all too? I am past age 67 now. Wish I found your channel sooner.
Which ultrasonic light therapy machine would you recommend? I am 43, suffering from Chronic neck pain the last 3 yrs. Xray shows degenerative arthritis ESPECIALLY C5-6. Will this light therapy help?
We love you too thank you for all the care and passion you put into your videos..I have no interest in going to Dr's or taking drugs I believe in the natural way. I noticed you like apple cider vinegar how do you feel about kombucha tea...homemade not store bought??
I went thru front and back neck surgery c4-c6 after the surgery and before surgery as well I purposely crack my own neck to get pain relief cause I can’t afford physical therapy

@@CarmenGonzalez-kz6um hello I also experience they same as you feel

I’m very scared
I suspect it’s cervical myelopathy.
@@luigi3964...Sounds like surgery was not a good idea.
you helped my neck and arm problems so much even though I have disk damage and spurs. Thank you
Thank you doctor. I have cervical spondylitis, spinal canal narrowing, disc degeneration+ lumbar pain
Are you getting surgery?
Hey brother thank you for all your knowledge! I’ve just found out I had degenerative disc disease and your videos are helping me a lot with my mental and physical. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for your love for the people. You are sharing your wisdom to help get the people healed and that's what it is all about! I am telling family about your channels. God continual blessing upon you. I'm a subscriber subscriber for life. Thank you.
Thank you Dr. Mandell, my dear friend has spinal spurs and can hardly walk. I will share this video wi tth her!! God bless to you Dr. Mandell! 😊🙌🙏
Looks like surgery was not a good idea.
Thanks dr mandell i have been diagnose with spurs onn my knee and your informationi is very useful
Bro same here. I can understand your problem. I suggest you visit stenosis doctor and ask them if you can do the exercises you are doing.
This video was very helpful.. thanks for being so generous with your knowledge about neck pain do's and don'ts.. vitally helpful and relieving..
finally, some advice on the dos and don'ts of cervical stenosis! One Doctor laid out how this will kill me eventually. Sounds like a terrible and very scary way to die!!
Good bless you doc. You’re a blessing to this world
Know it old - but it’s my issue at 60 post pandemic. Thx.
Thank you. I went through the exercises. I have forward neck. Degenerative spine and neck. This helps.
Dear sir you are the real Doctor
Bless you for passing along this information!
This was really interesting! My husband has had several neck and back surgeries for this issue. Your videos are very helpful.
Bike Vids We place importance on our surgeon rather than the hospital. In CT, we liked StFrancis in Hartford.
Thank you doctor, you’re very helpful
Great informative video thank you 🙂 I'm glad I didn't keep up running! I have mild (I think?) scoliosis. Often had mild back issues but nothing major.
Have been struggling with nerve neck pain for the first time in my life (fun times, not!)Trying all sorts of natural solutions mixed with non-prescription pain relief (ibuprofen and paracetamol barely work but I have hope for the new meds I bought today - Won't overdo it but it will hopefully help me sleep!)
Daily yoga will definitely be back on my daily to-do list. Kept slacking off and spending too much time slouched over devices... lesson learnt the hard way!
Keep up the great work, cheers 🙂
Thank you. I hope you have peace and happiness 🙏
What a great video as always! Love everything you do and all the awesome information you share coming from a retired RN who has severe ddd! Thank you a billion times! Ive been following and practicing things you have taught for many years with good results.👍❤️

Does hemp CBD oil help? What is the dosage?
Good run down of what to try that may actually help. I wondered about the different devices, especially.
Hello Dr., do you recommend use of Iron Neck device for rehab and strengthening of the neck ?
Thanks for sharing your videos Dr. Mandell. I find it constructive and useful.
You've mentioned infrared and ultrasound in this video, both in a same contest. What would be the typical case when you'll prefer ultra-sound over the infrared and vice versa? What would be the main differences in the application of two mentioned technologies (other than they both reduce inflammation)?
Thank you!
Thank you so much for the helpful information ❤️
Ok third video in a row - just want to make sure my cervical and lumbar stenosis are not going to be worse from the exercises in the other videos. Thanks

PNF is pretty amazing stuff. I just tried it and finally - some relief!
Working from home during the pandemic and not having a proper work space definitely destroyed my neck which includes tinnitus and a clogged ear both on my left side. Went for an MRI and was diagnosed with severe left foraminal narrowing.
Hi Mario! How are you now? Did the exercises work? Do you have vertigo too? Thanks!

How are you
Have been diagnosed with cervical stenosis. Thank You.

This was awesome to watch. Thank you.
I just got diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis in my C6 and C7. Severe narrowing on the nerves with constant pain down my right arm. It’s very disheartening and I can’t sleep at night. I’ve been in pain for over 4 years after a car slammed into the side of my car. I believe the accident caused my spine to straighten out and that is leading to disk problems and pain.

How do you feel now?

Which surgery laminectomy or ACDF would be better for Cervical spondylosis which has resulted in multiple vertebral subluxations in the C7-T4 areas, as well as compression of the spinal cord?
👏 Good one , so much to learn , thank you so much - I do have one question for you though - how better to take care while driving and motorbiking, helmet is on and I ride for like 1hr continuous and then take a break? Haven’t done that since 2 months now but want to know- What precautions to take with these activities, please advise, thanks a lot again
Watching from malaysia Godbless Dr Mandell.
