This was an excellent video for the movie. I really felt so emotional watching this. Uhtred and Aethelstan's father/son dynamic was something that I loved most in the whole series. I honestly really liked what they did for the movie with them. Aethelstan had a depth to him that the series had no time to give him and for that I thank the writers, even though I did not agree with everything he did but I think that was the point for the audience. The series showed how he was a young, determined boy brought up by Uhtred's values to him many years later becoming a man who was vulnerable and relying on guidance. Great series, great movie and such a beautiful end to Uhtred's story. In my opinion, I think that he went to the great hall. I found comfort in that he can finally be there and rewarded for all the things he's done in life. His last oath being to Aethelstan, especially.
This is incredible, wow 🔥. I mean, what a show, what a film, a fitting end to an incredible journey. After everything there was only one person who changed history, and it was someone whose name was never recorded, whose victories were never put down, whose loyalties were never counted. He was the real King. Lord Uhtred of Bebbanburg, may your name live on through the many ages to come. Destiny is All ⚔️

I just finished watching the last kingdom and it was one of the best shows I ever watched besides Vikings when I watched seven kings must die I started crying in the end I think Uhtred is stuck between life and death I would put The last kingdom as my 2nd favorite show
Honestly, I root for both in a way. One part loves the idea of him finally entering Valhalla, but another wants me him to keep on living. If I had to choose, I think he called it a night.
