You're a very mature young man for your age but I think you might want to let your dad make the decision on the joker movie. Its pretty adult themed but saying that if dad says its ok then I think it's great movie and you should see it when he thinks you're ready. Just an old man's opinion. Love the channel keep it up guys.
I think Joker is perhaps a bit too dark. I wouldn’t recommend it for you. It’s such a different tone and may be a little too disturbing. I would HIGHLY recommend watching Zac Snyder’s Justice League. Definitely not the first one, it needs to be the Zac Snyder one. It’s so good and brings all of them together - Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aqua Man, The Flash…really good.
The reason why it was so intense and why you said "The music" when the joker was telling his BS backstory to Rachel, is exactly because of the music. Nolan uses what's called a Shepard Tone, it's an auditory illusion that gives the impression of infinitely rising tones. he uses it in all his films.
The intro when you are talking to your son about the history of Nolan Batman's and DC, I'm thinking "Riddle me this, Riddle me that. Are you going to show the little man Schumacher and the Batnipples?"
I don’t think JOKER is age appropriate. Maybe in a few years after he’s seen a load of Scorsese movies and has built up a predilection for gritty violent 70’s movies. 😂
You guys should definitely react to Joker (2019)...it is an extremely interesting take on the character. Though, I am pretty sure that you will want to wait until you think your son is ready to deal with watching that movie, since it is very very very R rated. But from what it sounds like, it seems like you folks can go ahead and skip the sequel that just came out...unless you both really really LOVE musicals.
@@GenerationMediaReaction If you have ever seen A Clockwork Orange or One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or other such REALLY dark and disturbing type material, that is the level of adultness you should be thinking of. If you have not seen those, then maybe No Country for Old Men or The Departed or Taxi Driver would be pretty good comparisons.
Again, this kid has truly taken in the mcu propaganda. Wonder Woman was a good movie I think. Still really curious what you think of Shazam and Shazam Fury Of The Gods.
Excellent suggest...it will be great to see you folks react to the movie version after he is done reading the source material, it is pretty damned epic...IMHO.
THIS IS THE ONE.
I have been waiting for you both to react to this from the bat man begins. ❤
enjoy !

Agreed, we will nudge it up over time, but slowly

No plans for that one!
I think the dark Knight rises is the best one but all of them are amazing
Has he seen Batman 1989?
