This might have been the 10 year anniversary of the end of Rick Hansen's Man in Motion World Tour. That would have been 1997. And it's somewhere in Canada, I believe. My guess would be Vancouver. It's the first time I've ever seen Rick, David, and John all together!
Imagine having the ability to make anyone smile at any time by singing. :) I can't. But am grateful to those that can. I love this song. John's voice is well used..but it's so sweet and genuine. It just makes me smile.
Muuuchos recuerdos y muy emocionante como busca la afinacion al cantarla porque se ve y se siente la sensibilidad de cantarla,, con más años ,, y voz un poco gaatada, pero de calidad
Vocal melody is a little different. I don't think he can hit the upper register anymore. That's not an insult, we all get older. you can't be 25 forever. He can still sing and he sounds great.
@@mikemeechan2770 John Farnham's voice never changed, still as good as when he was 30 years old. He's now 73 years old. He also sang with Olivia Newton John and many more artists.. Farnham is out of this world with his voice. But he is live even better than on his albums. They call him The Voice.
David Foster was a young boy at this time and you still need be professional to be on the same stage as him, John Parr looked old and sounded past it, no idea why he bought he guitar with him.
St Elmo's Fire will ALWAYS be burning in me!!! Xx
Yes absolutely 80's forever Nostalgietime 👍👍👍🫵🫵🫵
John Parr my idol!!!! St Elmos Fire Man in Motion! Long live 80’s!
David Foster is such a freakin genius
Damn, that was a smooth intro by Parr. Glides up to the mic just in time to deliver the first line.

And he's not doing playback! He still manages to hit quite a few of those super high notes!
It makes me smile every time I hear it I love this song

귀한 영상 고마워요~ from South Korea
John Parr is doing well for his age. He has only dropped it down a key!
It happens as you age, it becomes hard to hit the high notes.
God I love 80’s
Love to watch the orchestra play too!
Thank you for the video Morry. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!!

A pesar del tiempo, canta muy bien.😘👍
Me encanta John Parr me gustaría conocerlo

At first I thought Bill Champlin (ex Chicago) sang this song, they both look alike in voice
❤❤❤

Sólo sé que escucho esta canción y sonrío...
Which year this is ?

Moren Harket (a-ha) still hits the high note in Take on Me - and he's touching 60... Still think John Parr is brill is though...
@@mikemeechan2770 Yeah, in head voice. It’s not the same thing.

I miss 80s soundtrack
ST Elmos fire 1985.
anyway still the original!
Great
if this song is played a bit slower...the great John Parr would easily hit the high notes as if the 80's era👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏💓💓💓💓
Check out my interview with John Parr from today!

Were the audience told they can't dance?
Still got great hair 😍
John Parr does not sound the same anymore.
He's older. Give him a break.
None of us do none of this look the same if we had the money we have the fame maybe. We all go old gracefully that's the way it should be.
@@luvvinlovelock7254 Guess so
Does this even deserve an answer ffs?
Parr doesn’t sound the same when it is sped up

What a dick
Зачем издеваться,взяли бы темп медленнее. Даже на записи темп меньше .вообще можно было бы все переделать и не высерать . Вокалист отличный,его обожаю
David Foster looks super hot here - so handsome and that wonferful hair...omg...I just want to run my fingers through it!!
Your right John parr ruined the song on this video much better in 1985
medium rare😁
Pity the tempo was just a little fast...made this uncomfortable for Parr to sing, and that sax sounds so naff!!!
He tried.
Terrible tempo, shame on David Foster
not the best version of this song
sounds weak here
michael johns performance was way better
sorry
I mean, was it really John Parr who sang this song? Jezzuus… every cover is better than this
?
DAMN. HE'S NOT FAKE! HE'S SINGING AS IF HE'S A TEENAGER! HE'S REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
Great
His hair is perfectly quaffed
