      Welcome back! I encourage you to ease back in...don't put too much on your plate or pressure on yourself. You can give your body a lot of nourishment even with just 1 or 2 movement patterns. Explore, follow what feels good, and make it joyful. The videos will always be here for you.

    Hi from the UK !Just wanted to say how very grateful I am for your videos . I have suffered from vertigo for quite a while , my inner ear being the source ,so I can have moments where balance has been a big problem with even recently, worried about a holiday coming up and the walking that was required.Since using your videos I have felt 100 percent with no inner ear problems at all .I think it’s the opening up of my body , a deeper connection to it but also the turning and opening up of my neck and tension there ,which Has directly affected my inner ear bringing it into balance . Thanks you again for sharing your gifts

    Thank you very much! Love the workouts and the flows. Any guidance on breathing will be appreciated. I apply the Yoga flow breathing and it seems to work, raising my concentration with the movements and deepening the enjoyment, of feeling.

    • @MovementParallelsLife
      @MovementParallelsLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! With breathing, it's always a balance of cueing / reminding but not micromanaging - allowing people to find their flow through their own breath.
      It's great to start and end the practice with stillness & diaphragmatic breathing to develop a deeper connection to the breath. This sets the tone for the habit of listening to the body.
      In flow movement, "exhaling through the effort" is a great general guideline - so as you're completing a movement (standing up from a squat or finishing a push up) you're exhaling at the end of the concentric phase, then inhaling and regrouping for the next movement.
      Hope that helps. Keep on flowing!

  • @ryanbott231
    @ryanbott231 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I like the movement and series of moves from this playlist, but I was wondering if anyone else had any issues with their wrists? I think I got a bit of a tweak in my wrists. I do a lot of rock climbing so I tend to have pretty tight muscles in that region. I was wondering if there's some series I could follow to precondition my wrists before coming back, or if I just need a bit more of a wrist stretch before doing this work?

    • @MovementParallelsLife
      @MovementParallelsLife  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Here are some simple hand & wrist movements that will help: th-cam.com/video/P4q7IYkZQLM/w-d-xo.html
      As you explore these practices, you will get to know your body better...including identifying weak links. You're sensing your wrists need more care and reinforcement - now it's only a matter of making this a focus for the next couple of weeks / months.
      Make sure to spend time giving your wrists some love before and after ground-based movement sessions. Best of luck.

    How did you develop these flows? Do you just play with movements or is there a method to the madness?

    • @MovementParallelsLife
      @MovementParallelsLife  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question! Yes, there is a method...just like an artist or a chef has a method of how they express themselves / teach others. I put a crazy amount of time and energy into exploring these movements and considering how to best teach them. And yet that whole process is nurtured with a playful mindset - always centering creativity & curiosity. So let's call it "methodical play" 😉
