Sent for your program. I’m 71 and like starching, it’s very hard feels good after. Started a gym 4 years ago. Find the members so helpful and encouraging. Hanging very hard but helped get 2 inches of height back and posture much better. Only took 3 years. Thank you for helping.

I’m 6’1, 300lbs and as stiff as they come. Especially in the hips. I’ve start off every morning for the past month with a combo of your “morning stretches” and the “daily practice” this really rejuvenated my body. This has been more effective than any other workout plan I’ve done. You guys literally answered my wants of not wanting lift weight anymore but wanting to work on my flexibility
My goal initially was to be “healthy” enough to play with my kids…then it hit me, i need to be “healthy” enough to PLAY WITH MY GRANDKIDS!!!
And you guys answered my needs
    THANK YOU🙏🏽
    STAY GENUINE!!!

I’m with you. 6’6”. 65 years old. Was 350# pre Covid. Couple bouts of that (I’ll spare you the specifics) and today I’m 270# I called it “the Covid diet” haha. Anyway, I’ve similar goals (even though my “grandkids” are HS and college age) Been trying to work up to full squats and full hangs for several months now. I’m getting there. Good luck it your progress.

I’m 69 & have stayed pretty fit all my life. I do stretch every morning. I don’t take any medication. Just finished a month of snow skiing blues and blacks with my grandkids. Also can boat surf with grandkids on the board with me. Your future health is worth keeping up a strength, stretch, aerobic and healthy eating routing. The rewards are BIG, hang in there.

Me, mid 60's. Might I suggest eliminating starches/sugars and cutting back on dairy for starters. It is tough at times and while I don't have a severe overweight issue, joint stiffness is very much a problem. It is worst when I deviate from being strict with myself. After more than five years of cutting sugars/starches way back, I am much, much better.

Now, in my 30s, my fitness goals have shifted from heavy lifting to prioritizing mobility and flexibility. I have increased my flexibility since following you gentleman this past February. My lifts have also been improving because of a better range of motion and my recovery rate has significantly improved. I have been doing mobility and stretching for 6 times a week for 30 minutes after lifting and I feel the best I have ever had. My gratitude and appreciation to this channel. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom 🙏

I’m hyper mobile, and learning to NOT push my body past a reasonable point has been a challenge, but watching stuff like this helps give me a reference for a reasonable range without aggressively overextending because I’m not realizing I’m going too far into it. Helps prevent injury/my bones shifting out of place and getting stuck

I have tried a program for mobility and I like you said are still using these exercises to this day. Exercises like one leg good mornings, active pigeon stretch, buthers block, the diagonal stretch, the hang.
Befor i started doing these exercises I also did vinyasa yoga and some yin yoga as well, but I realy feel like my mobility progressed after doing the more active mobility work.
Yoga is great, but I feel it is more for the whole body and mindre. If you want something spesific to get more mobile ,thes type of programs is the way to go 👍🏻

I'm waaay out of practice at the moment and at 33 feel like the 'use it or lose it' principle is applying more and more. So, I'm gonna start using these routines regularly as of tomorrow mixed in with some other sets of exercises. After. Your body is already warm and the stretching will be good for worked muscles.

I’ve been doing a lot of these stretches but not in an organised way. I’m going to start tomorrow- it’s perfect timing ng as just finished my 6 wk weight training cycle & have a week or f before next round begins. I find I’m all good on stretching on gym days but nothing structured on the other days- so looking forward to having a set stretching routine. Thanks a million👍👍👍👍

I’m 52, been weight training for 39 years and as an old school gen x golds gym dude… we NEVER stretched! 😂 it was frowned upon😂🤣
Honestly…I thought I was in good shape and took for granted that bad knees, sore back and tight hips were part of aging.
Was I ever wrong!! Almost three years into my yoga and stretching daily regiment and I have had miraculously fixed knees, hips and back! Literally reversed time. Recommend highly ✌🏼

Love this! It would be great if you made a playlist of your mobility series. These are so helpful during my long woek days. I've already started to see changes on my body since I've been following your tutorials.

I've never followed a proper mobility program, I usually stretch here and there but with no plan whatsoever. This whole program seems really complete to me and I'm curious about what's gonna happen if I stick to it ;) leets see!! love you guys, I appreciate this type of content

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for doing this! I’ve been vaguely thinking of installing a bar, and after watching the accompanying video that explains the why of hanging, I’m convinced. Maybe some day I’ll even be able to do a pull-up, lol.
I know progress can be slow, but in about 4-5 weeks of doing Stretch Side stretching, I’ve made remarkable progress in a few areas and it’s thrilling. Walking and even just moving in general, it all feels so much better. This is a lifetime commitment for me. I’ll just add that feeling more flexible actually motivated me to start working out again after a lapse, which really is more enjoyable with more flexible parts. Thanks for getting me back in to my body. 😊

Love it. Hit this for the first time today. Feeling good, so I added a D1: Down Dog (10s hold) forward to Plank (10s) lower to PushUp (10s) push up to Plank (10s) back to Down Dog (10s). That's one rep. Reps to suit the individual. I liked it. Don't know that it helps with mobility per se, but I liked adding a few strength reps, and push ups felt like a great way to end the program. Kinda walk away a little pumped instead of my hips being all cranky, and me hobbling around the house for a bit. Anyway... For whatever that's worth. Thanks, Josh. I just found your channel and I'm pretty stoked. Yoga studio is going to start up a primal class soon too. I'll be checking in.
