Jennifer, Hi, I watched a series of vids on Netflix years ago. They were using rancid foods. Most were just disgusting but they used black bananas for a banana cream pie - the blacker the better. You can even put them in the freezer to speed it up a bit. It gives the finished pie a really wonderful strong flavour. Not all the bananas were black, just about 3 or 4. So tasty. ☺

Watching him cook gave me childhood flashback.
My siblings and I used to make up this little concoction where you mix flour, butter, and sugar together and turn it into a cookie dough. We just ate it raw.
Or... we would just take the sugar put it on a baking sheet, put it in the oven and let it melted and turn brown and made a brittle out of it minus the peanuts.
We didn't have enough money to make a real cookie or a real cake so that was the best we could do.
Too bad you didn't know about mayonnaise sugar cookies back then!! They are easy to make and the best sugar cookies I have ever made and don't take a whole lot of ingredients!! Flour, sugar, baking soda, vanilla and salt and of course the mayonnaise!! Some people make a face when I tell them about these cookies but the mayo just replaces the eggs in a recipe and it makes a HUGE difference. Chocolate mayo cake is good too. Best chocolate cake ever! We couldn't always afford eggs but we always had a jar of mayonnaise and thankfully my gram knew how to cook/bake and taught me that trick. If you have never made Mayonnaise Sugar Cookies, you have gotta try them. They are so moist and delicious!

Man! I wish my American brain could convert Metric to English Scales as quickly as you move through your recipes, brother! But watching your performance is 85% of the Fun! I adore your production style, music, etc., but I'm too pressed for time to stop and start the video over and over again to scribble the recipes or replay them until I figure it out 🙄 so most of your work is simply serving as inspiration for techniques and general flavor profiles.

Enter "g to ounces" on your search engine and then fill in the amount you need. It is a bit time consuming, but you'll get the hang of it

It’s farmer’s cheese (not cottage cheese), which is common in Eastern Europe. If you can’t find farmer’s cheese in your supermarket, use cream cheese as was suggested above.

I stumbled across this, while searching for easy tamale recipes, I saw a jar full of un peeled bananas, and someone pouring white liquid batter into the same jar! Then I wondered what was he making with this, that would possibly be better than cakes???!!! Like the title suggested! Just to find out, he wasn't! It was traditional misleading, click bait material! You used clickbait. You know anyone that clicked on this did it because they wanted to see what was going to happen with the bananas that still had their peels on that you poured cream over in the thumbnail. You didn't do anything like that. The continuous deception on this channel makes it so users end up having an unpleasant experience and if you read through your comments like I do, you will see people do not like being deceived. Don't be one of "those channels". Be one that gets bigger and better because people enjoy the FULL experience, not just the video itself. You have a good audience that is slowly growing but people don't even want to watch videos from this channel after they are deceived so just imagine how many more subscribers you would have if you didn't use clickbait and deceptive titles. It ruins the quality and the reputation of your channel and videos. I'm gonna give it one more week here in the hopes you might read this, take it into consideration and try to do better with this because I understand it isn't easy to grow a channel but using deception isn't the way to do it if you actually care about your audience. If the titles and thumbnails continue to mislead, overembellish, or are just pure clickbait then you will be losing me as a subscriber because I will not continue to support a channel or TH-cam user that deceives it's audience.
