I don't understand why everyone seems down. Roma have a ton of talent and obviously got a boost from Claudio being brought back. We have a ton of injuries and gave so much in that City performance. And put aside your Fandom for one sec: that was a spectacular game of football. We have a young team and our young players are looking promising. Bergvall looks taller and stronger- what a pass to Werner! There is a natural regression when you change so many players on the team, but I am genuinely excited for game time every week. We have a couple of holes to plug going forward, but if we back this manager, I believe this project will be a success.
I have one question. As I understand it we play out from the back because we can retain possesion much better than booting it up to the half way line and then only have a 50 per cent chance of getting the ball. However in our matches v Gala and Roma the opponents have pressed us in our own third of the field and often won the ball so we are not even getting to the half way line. Is this really good tactics which i do not underrstand.? It seems we will gift a goal sooner than later.
@@wildmanmountainjack3725 I noticed one match when Ritchie was actually fit we could long ball it to him or Solanke. WE do however have quite a few players who are small in size when compared to opponents.

@@wildmanmountainjack3725I can understand the thinking but, if we hoof it up, that would discourage them from pressing us. If we win then great, if not so be it. Ange is a winner but also has life in perspective.
Ali, thank you for pointing out that holding the back line and having a goal ruled off for offside isn't luck or bad defending. The defenders are showing good organization and discipline!
If he's still here, he'll be captain next when Sonny moves on but no one is going to take the armband away from Sonny (quite rightly) out of respect for the player.
i mean, Roma could have scored more than 2, but we could have sent 5 in, the draw was the fair result for the day, people are wildly overreacting on this result, considering how many players we are missing and some key ones starting to feel the excessive minutes
I don’t think this is just about this result though, people are getting annoyed at the constant up and down in our performances… that’s the frustrating thing we can’t put a string of wins together, this game just showed it again, 1st Half was awesome to watch and that 2nd half was awful
The performances are fairly consistent. Roma are a good team, ranieri a fantastic manager, he clearly set out to play long balls over the top, stretch the defence, get us running back then overload the midfield to win second balls... Or what happened a lot was intercepting an out ball to solanke.. Roma played well. Fans over reaction is tiresome, Roma are a good team, it wasn't a bad result, the performance was decent too
@@neilstanley5120it's not a problem at all mate. you think theres any team that scores more than half the chances they create and don't have players making an error or two per match? Who is this all conquering unbeatable dream team? Doesn't exist.
As a STH paying to watch I want to be entertained. Yes, I get frustrated when we lose, but that is outweighed by being entertained for most of the 90 mins....never go back to being a 'pragmatic' team, keep daring to be different!
Having watched a few of the post game podcasts, the incessant whining and whinging about wanting to win trophies, and not caring about how the team wins, really does grate. Where did boring and dour football get the team in the past? The sense of entitlement of some fans is pathetic. They seem to accept nothing less than a dominant 4-0 win. The opposition they seem to think will just roll over. They don’t want to trust in the process, they just care about instant gratification. Unfortunately, I think in all professional sports, these types of fans exist. I watched a broadcast with Hoddle providing “special comments ”, my god, is there anyone more negative? Hoddle was critical of Forster letting in the first goal.
Got no time for Hoddle, great player 40 years ago but now just full of hot air. The number of times he says "the manager needs to..." He did naff all as a manager, compare his record to Ange, but he's quite happy to chirp his, easy in hindsight, bland comments
@@Ba5e2 Hoddle had no backing at the club, was only allowed money to make one high level signing, Robbie Keane, other than that he had to sign free transfers like Jamie Redknapp, the squad he inherited was dog shit compared to Ange! Ange is a good manager and l'm enjoying him being here, but Hoddle was given a shit team no tools and no time!
@kjd9634 thanks for the feedback mate, fair comments from a time that I don't remember very well. All I would say is, my comments were based on Hoddle's entire management career, not just his time with us.
@Ba5e2 fair enough mate, but he done very well at Swindon, and done well at Chelsea and for ma's great at England only lost his job because of politics.
I’m sure you’ve read it (of course you have!) but Vince Rugari’s book Angeball is bloody fantastic and sheds a lot more light on his dad, the philosophy and the story so far. Every single Spurs fan should get it, the audiobook is bloody great!!!
I confess I did say myself, 'can I be a journalist'? It does seem that way sometimes. However, you are one of the people who I think would report every second of every aspect about Spurs, and that, plus your chat with your best mate style, makes me feel chastised if I did seem disrespectful of your job. Your a great watch.
Roma are not the mugs I think some were expecting but man it’s sooo difficult to fathom us at times! Gattuso summed up watching Spurs in his infamous presser “Sometimes good…”
Honestly last ten minutes it did look like we were under the cosh and an equaliser was coming as we just seemed unable to get out of our half. Fair play to Roma for sticking with it and going home with the draw. We had the chances to put the game out of sight but didnt take them which left that risk if they had the late burst
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish..” (Danny Blanchflower) - imagine the 💩that would hit the fan if Ange said this! 🤦♂️
It’s so important we really go for the League Cup imo. I think if we can win that it will be the catalyst for so much more. It would be absolute proof that his approach works in this league with the added bonus that it would stop those types of question all the time.
Excitement is not compensation for success. Pragmatism and excitement aren't mutually exclusive. Why does Ange find it so difficult to understand that the team and the fans just need a bit more balance?
@@towerbridge04IA was the one who asked AP from the very first Pressa the "Step-Up" question. Like a five day old supermarket loaf of bread, stale and half-baked.
@@dooshdashcams2629: Ambition is fine. So are dreams. It's this sense of entitlement I can't stand. Only MU and Liverpool fans have it worse. But you see it in far more unlikely places. It's as if they've swallowed the Disney myth that anything is attainable if you just want it hard enough (ie: it's all in the head and actually working towards your goals doesn't come into it). As for the overwhelming desire to spend other people's money a la Starmer, as if Fantasy Football bears any resemblance to the real thing, looking at the difficulty the former players have in predicting results should tell you just how unpredictable the game is and how difficult it is to win trophies. Look at HK's experience last season, moving to the club most guaranteed to give him trophies and medals and they flopped, in spite of him smashing records on their behalf.
The journalists should be professional enough to do their research on what’s been asked before. It’s really lazy. Maybe if the journalists should say their name first we’d get to know who asks these questions? Ange also seems very tolerant of overseas journalists not speaking in their native language.
Absolutely, I mean Ange has been with us over 18 months now, people must realise by now how he does things, is attitude, and what questions are going to annoy him. We all know, so why don't the professionals asking the questions. I agree a out tje overseas reports as well, Ange is good with them.
Playing this high tempo football twice a week is difficult to maintain, particularly when injuries mean Ange can’t rotate as he’d like. I’m not expecting great things later- I think they looked tired on Thursday and Fulham haven’t played for a week.
Why is the assumption playing boring pragmatic football would win more games or more points? If City scored a late goal, they still would have lost 4-1. If spurs went pragmatic at 1-0, they very easily could have and probably would have conceded 1 if not 2 goals and lost. Again, if city scored even 2, they’d have lost 4-2. So the question should be, would you like to draw a few more games instead of losing, and draw a few more games you would have won, and hang on to wins instead of blasting teams (look at our goal difference). Sorry but anyone who can’t handle a few bad results are deluded to think bad results don’t happen playing boring too.
Yes Ali, what a nice Friday night surprise, the video didn't start with a sigh, great to see your lovely face all the same. Disappointing end to a very entertaining game last night, now please let us win on Sunday 😬😬. Thank you as always Ali 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks, Alasdair for the surprising video. As always great insights and analysis. When you tune into Alasdair Gold you know you will get entertained! Good news that Ben Davies will most likely be staying around for at least another year. You can be sure that whenever he is needed he will give his all.
Why isn’t there a “pragmatic” approach from the journalists to discuss before hand who will be asking what? Or maybe some of the journalists who don’t come often take their time to “know their client” to avoid the repetitive pointless questions??
This season in particular the Brennan has been a goal scorer and has created little to no chances for others . Whilst on the left hand Son is only beat by Kulu in chance creation. Son also has the most big chance created in the squad. Makes me wonder if they have been asked to play their roles differently than last year.
In Ange's teams there is usually one creative and one goal scoring winger. At Celtic, it was Jota on the left being creative, abada on the right socring goals. Or maeda playing for his extreme pressing
@Jass-g2q i wouldn't say that he's still expected to score goals, but johnson is not the creator son is. When kulu plays opposite son, son will score more. Son's creativity is very underrated.
They also have a new centre striker and midfielder playing more central (kulu). That alone changes the dynamics and how they individually play. Neither a good or bad thing. Just happens with new personal. My opinion is that we are playing better and we are better for these changes
@ Ali I keep waiting for Archie Gray to get a chance in midfield. I get that CDM is too much responsibility now but I feel like he could play the Sarr role for sure. Maybe I’m wrong cause obviously Ange sees him day in day out. Must be frustrating for him. Just feel it might click and then we have even more options in midfield of park during this busy period .
Yep Gray should be playing in no 6 or 8 role but it’s needs must at the moment as we don’t have any other full back cover in Europa! Spence should have been in squad but Ange didn’t select him. Gray will become our no 6 for years to come I hope. Think he can develop into a world class player. His potential is massive.
The pragmatism question was asked, again, by Ian Abrahams from talksport, who is a massive west ham fan and basically goes to Ange pressers with the sole intention of trying to wind him up.
I found Glen Hoddles comments during the game really short sighted. He is obviously not at all on board with how Ange wants us to play and makes it so obvious
He also didn’t like the stat that we have one of the best defensive records in the league. He complained that he didn’t see a stat about how many saves Vicario has had to make. Well surely that is what Vicario is there for?
Dell'Uomo I'm gathering is the Journo with the set-piece question. Heard him on Cowlin's channel basically claiming Italians know how to defend set pieces and Australians don't seem to. Imagine that, Italian football should do away with set pieces because no team ever scores from them, they're soooooooooooo well defended.
I've noticed with Radu and Ben the ball is released a lot quicker. Giving more space for the Ange style. Romero and VDV are versatile playing from the back and have more control limiting space for the Ange style. In other words team sit deeper. Something Ange might need to tell the 1st choice pairing when they get back.
Our offside trap was excellent last night. Right up until Biss came on and stuffed it up 😂 Oh well! Radu Ben and Fraser doing ok which is the most important thing for the next couple of weeks imo. All the usual starters were a bit off it last night. Dom, Pape, Sonny, Kulu.. all a bit greedy, a bit slap dash and a metre short of the press. It took Benters a while to get up to speed but he got better. Brennan was poor. He doesn’t affect games unless he’s trying to prove a point or having a strop.
Very diplomatic Alasdair with your colleagues. I can understand the Italian journalist not being in the loop on the fact set pieces have been asked about lots...but its been a season and 20 games with Ange at Spurs and I think quarks on the moon have heard the diatribe of "he only attacks but says he won't stop playing that way, how crazy?!" Its lazy journalism, its their job to know what we have all already heard re a Premier League manager, at least those themes we have all heard a million times about Ange. They should at least ask these "set piece", "pragmatic" questions with an air of familiarity and prose them from the perspective that "we know this has asked before, but...", its madness inducing behaviour, watching your manager essentially be bullied every week with the same questions in this schoolboy naive "I've never heard you asked this before" tone....its cringe to watch. I cannot help but suppose they want a rise out of him. Ange seems to be a calmer man than most to take them so well again and again and agree he does enjoy the cat and mouse game of answering it and not reacting in a way he thinks they want him to. Can you not raise this with your peers? You surely all talk, tell us what they say when you ask them why they asked the same question? Those fans who are still iffy on Ange hear these questions....please can they not ask "Do you think your style will bleed more into the lague as its so exciting to watch?" Wouldnt that be just as justified a question? Too positive though huh? Never heard that kind of positive angle have we. Depressing football journalism...not you though, you always ask the queries others arent going near like about the young players and how some plaers are etc. Thanks for being you Alasdair 😊 Tone n all.
Good morning Mr gold and spurs fans . I hope everyone is OK and well . I really hope we play like we did against city and smash Fulham . We really need a good run of game Great video coys
This is where I find myself at odds with most fans - or most online chat group fans - I agree with Postecoglu, I watch spurs because I want to be entertained. We've seen the pragmatic Jose and Conte-ball and I was bored stiff by that stuff (which also didn't win anything either) and I stopped watching both after just a couple of months or so. I honestly couldn't give a toss about trophies - sure they are nice but they're not the reason I switch on. I don't care about bragging rights I don't care about records - I just want to watch some good attacking football.
AP despises catenaccio, Sampdoria and Milan (88-93) weren't that, that's why AP noted them in the Europa PreMatch when the Italian journo asked the stock "waddiya know abt" question.
Exactly. Even if spurs won every game 1-0 for the season. The fans would HATE watching it. They’d just look up the scores and do other things. Legit even the game they are about to win their 38th game of the season and break a record most the fans wouldn’t care that much they be embarrassed at the way it was done.
Don't care about trophies? Well you picked the right club and owner then 😅. Ange said he always wins trophies in second season so you might be in luck lol.
I care about trophies. What's the point of following a team if there's no hope to kill you!? 😂 but I'm not part of the loony everyone out brigade when we lose a match.
Solanke to score 2 against Fulham. I don't normally do predictions on your site, but I was wondering if I could talk it up. I think he needs it to set our team intoproper gear. We are literally just lacking a better shot to goal ratio. We would win more games with that conversion sorted. We are suffering from the Kane syndrome. If we had his conversion rate under this system we would be there wjth tbe championship race.
We should have a keeper lined up and deal agreed in principle, incase Forster gets injured so we can act immediately. Vic won't be back until March at the earliest
It’s a weird one with Solanke as Johnson goal was in part to solanke run as took two defenders with him leaving space for Johnson and wonder if as season goes on team change set up to stop Johnson runs this leaving solanke more room in box to finish
What we want and what happens in life are two very different things, Conte and Mourinho won mostly where ever they went but couldn’t replicate that at Tottenham, just because Ange Postecoglu has won things at other clubs don’t get sucked into that its a given he’s going to win things at this club, your surely not that naive or hopelessly deluded Alasdair. The inconsistency will continue under this manager, I said it would before the season started and were not far off being halfway through, and for all those thinking I’m being negative or hating on Ange, not at all, I just see things as they are not through rose tinted glasses or through dreamy eyes. But hey, let this manager show me otherwise with this squad, remember, it’s on him mate.
Personally it seems to me we should see if one of the lower section of the leagues has a goalie we could get. There are some decent keepers about. I quite like the Palace keeper.
Ange said in the interview, "You will see that I would love to be a right winger in my team mate, I would score bags of goals." Does that imply he uses his left wingers differently than how he uses his right winger?
I like the idea of GK @ Burnley his last name is Trafford . He’s not the biggest goalkeeper but has incredible distribution and is quite 2 footed. He’s young enough and good enough to properly challenge big Vic. I think he’d also be attainable in January. However I hope that they don’t compromise and get the GK that Ange wants. If that’s in the summer so be it.
In the first 12 league games last season, Son played up top and scored 8 goals, while Solanke has 4 goals in 12 games this season. When it comes to pressing, distance covered, and defensive work, Son was at the top across the big five leagues. When Son played as a striker and went just one game without scoring, Spurs fans were quick to demand he be sent back to the left. But why is there complete silence when it comes to Solanke?
@@Jass-g2q no idea. Because “he’s perfect for Ange’s system” and “He’s the one Ange wanted so I trust Ange”?🤷♂️ I’ve got no idea where the love for this manager comes from - the first ten games of last season are a long time ago now.
The mystery of Tottenham. Deep inside we all know it's the elusive luck factor. At City we just plundered our luck piggy bank and everything we touched went brilliantly. Last night we went so close so often but our luck wallet was nearly empty. Now we're back to collecting our luck tokens again. That's one way of looking at the eternal saga.
That fella from talksport, moose or whatever moniker he uses, complete numpty. Always provocative clearly trying to get a click bait comment from Ange.
The topic on the radio today was (as usual) how "Ange's football won't win anything". Even though he clearly has won playing this way. But of course radio broadcasters know far more than him with his 25years experience in multiple leagues. People will never believe something new can be done, until it is. The same with Pep "Fraudiola". "You can't play that football in the prem league', it's naive, he has to change..". Blah. Blah. Blah.
Another absolutely shocking home performance today. Not sure how we’re going to cope with 2 matches per week throughout the whole of December with the thinning squad we have. Hard to see where the next point is coming from.
I know u won’t have a q&a anytime soon with all the winter fixtures coming in so thick soon. But I’m curious what type of car do u drive? Does your job provide u a work car to drive to all of these games? How many kms have u put on it driving all over the country over the years?
Q. How many players do you see us getting in January. And where do you there will play . For me we need one more winger a goal keeper and a lcb who can play lb aswell
Striker is the only pressing need I see. Richarlison is cooked. Yang might be ready to contribute, so I'm not sure we purchase another winger who is going to block the pathway for Odobert, Moore, and Yang. If we loose another hamstring, then we might be forced. I think Davies is the man at CB, we're good there. LB is a solid maybe, but Archie Gray and Spence have looked perfectly serviceable in that position. I definitely think we need that position sorted by next season, but I wouldn't rush into a deal in January unless its 100% the right player Ange wants. GK we're just going to have to let it ride with Forster. I don't see a universe where we signed both Forster and Austin to new contracts and then go out and buy another keeper in January. Makes no sense.
I keep hearing Gray’s been mainly playing as a RB before joining us but people keep saying his main position is number 6. Ange never said Gray’s main position will be a DM. I’m confused. We invested a lot of money for his potential but no one seems to know if he can be Ange’s 6.
It's a year of filling in a gap in the squad (RB) plus plenty of MFs in the squad atm. He'll get a chance late in the season into next. For 18yo, he's doing fine unlike the negative comments which appear to be sour betting loss grapes by some.
Angelino the left back of Roma is such a great player whose career I have watched closely. It does not matter what team he has played for he always gives 100% and is very technical. .Roma are a good team and really surprised me. A draw was a fair result for us. COYS
Solanke so unlucky the other night. If that header is 3 inches lower we are talking about a brilliant goal. Team in total hit the woodwork 3 times. We really should have blew them away within 60 minutes

@ I get bored watching teams just pass people to death as city do all the time. Watching Arsenal and Real Madrid are also very boring to watch despite them being successful in their own way. I’m not saying from the jump to park the bus, hope to nick a 1-0 off a set piece, but there are times that you have to be pragmatic, even klopp with his “rock and roll football” had moments where he would sit back after getting the lead and holding on to it. Especially when you a world class center backs and a keeper. I’m just saying with Ange, if he really wants to be here for the long term, he’ll have to do so. This isn’t Yokohama marinos or Celtic. Seen some fans moaning that we were lucky their go and given offside as we still conceded when catching offside is a skill and few seasons ago flag would’ve already gone up - like the Liverpool team from 80s that won everything would often catch opposition offisde but if was now ball would go in net before offside eventually given
Seems a little odd this one. They are saying virus. Something tells me there's a little more to it that might be more personal and they are just protecting him being only 16.

Hey Alasdair, is there a risk of burning out Solanke with a lack of options other than Sonny? Let’s be honest, Richarlison’s body can’t be relied on anymore. I guess Lankshear is an option, but in which games? Enjoy your weekend.😊
hey Ali, genuine question because I don't know the world of sports journalism; why don't journalists do an internet search of their questions before asking them? like it's all pretty easily accessible online and if you're are already researching other related material then would the 5 mins (max) it takes to google a question to see if it's already been asked really be so difficult? genuinely, I sound cross but isn't that just... doing decent journalism? if a big part of your job is to get attention and clicks, and you get that by providing new and interesting information, then shouldn't you be striving to ask decent questions? is that not just a part of doing your research appropriately? I mean unless you're a total scumbag agency that is intentionally trying to piss Ange off (which let's be real, could very much be the situation at this point...) anyways thanks! sorry for being so ignorant, this has just always bothered me and I'd love to hear your feedback if you have it!!

@@kjd9634 👍🏻 COYS
Archie is going to be a revelation when we finally get him in midfield
Ange is a special manager…….. That M City match was probably the best I’ve seen Spurs play in decades, followed closely by the M Utd match.
Thanks Neil. Very kind of you.
Roma are not the mugs I think some were expecting but man it’s sooo difficult to fathom us at times!
Gattuso summed up watching Spurs in his infamous presser
“Sometimes good…”
‘Are you not entertained?’
Strength and honour.
Loving them! Great update Ali!! Keep up the great work!
Hi Alasdair thanks for the info very interesting as always thanks for all your hard work take care stay safe
Honestly last ten minutes it did look like we were under the cosh and an equaliser was coming as we just seemed unable to get out of our half. Fair play to Roma for sticking with it and going home with the draw. We had the chances to put the game out of sight but didnt take them which left that risk if they had the late burst
'Hello everyone , Alasdair Gold here'. Sigh Analysis :
Small sigh, included in the word 'here'.
Third chat this week, I think? Thank you Allly 🙏🏻. We seriously need some signings in January 💯
Eric Then Sacked might debate that.
Immaculately turned out. And yes - Why do they keep asking the same questions? They must know him by now. He is not going to change.
Michael Cooper is definitely a goalkeeper I'd like to see at Tottenham.
He's excellent.
Excitement is not compensation for success. Pragmatism and excitement aren't mutually exclusive. Why does Ange find it so difficult to understand that the team and the fans just need a bit more balance?
That journalist that asked the 'pragmatic' question today was unreal.
@@towerbridge04IA was the one who asked AP from the very first Pressa the "Step-Up" question. Like a five day old supermarket loaf of bread, stale and half-baked.
It's so nice to see how clearly you understsnd what it's all about Ali. And so depressing to see how many 'fans' just don't get it...
YT fans get it but they have stars in their eyes to be the future A. Brazil, ample stockpiles of humble pie at the ready.
It’s so superficial, and then they write articles saying he’s naive. 😂😂😂
Amen to that. Basic preparation
You were right
Why is the assumption playing boring pragmatic football would win more games or more points?
That Archie Gray analysis was so nerdy, I love it !
L l. L
In Ange's teams there is usually one creative and one goal scoring winger.
At Celtic, it was Jota on the left being creative, abada on the right socring goals. Or maeda playing for his extreme pressing
@stz024 ??? Poor Sonny !! Is it right to sacrifice your top scorer and best finisher like that? It’s blatantly wasting his career.
I totally agree. He’s a box to box midfielder with a great engine.
One of those 'Tottenham Away' muppets, referred to the Manchester City win as; "Conte Ball".
The pragmatism question was asked, again, by Ian Abrahams from talksport, who is a massive west ham fan and basically goes to Ange pressers with the sole intention of trying to wind him up.
Yep exactly, awful reporter, rude and badly prepped.
Yeah Ali was disingenuous blaming it on a foreign reporter, but I spose the Moose is his mate!
Solanke didn't look right to me. I'm not sure if he was carrying a knock but he was absolutely awful on Thursday - especially giving the ball away 😮
Had to laugh when Simon Jordon this week named 3 spurs players who would get no where near the “top teams” squads and one was Deki,,,,,!!!
I found Glen Hoddles comments during the game really short sighted. He is obviously not at all on board with how Ange wants us to play and makes it so obvious
Glenn has an obvious case of the green-eyed monster
Hoddle is a constant whinger. Proper holier than tho attitude and talking spurs down
He also didn’t like the stat that we have one of the best defensive records in the league. He complained that he didn’t see a stat about how many saves Vicario has had to make. Well surely that is what Vicario is there for?
With the experience Hoddle as in the game. He is spot on with his comments. So you get the rose tinted glass brigade howling.
@ personally I disagree with Hoddle, but that’s just my opinion!
Archie Gray being like Bud Crawford would be a good analogy. Takes some time to download the information, then grows as the game goes on.
Ali, mate. Well reasoned synopsis.
Stupid kick off time is Sunday night at 7pm Why!
Right up until Biss came on and stuffed it up 😂
Oh well!
Who else would love to have a live, Vicario, game day watch along until the big fella is back? I'm certain it would be entertaining! 😲💥💯😁
Hello Ali, love your videos thank you.
Good morning Mr gold and spurs fans . I hope everyone is OK and well . I really hope we play like we did against city and smash Fulham . We really need a good run of game
Great video coys
Thing is we all know that teams can win and not play well or conversely lose and do well.
Ranieri is sneaky high on the list of Tottenham killers
Claudio should have at least baked a Neapolitano pizza for the Spurs squad.
Archie Gray as the Terminator, the learning machine from the future 🦿🦾
Solanke to score 2 against Fulham. I don't normally do predictions on your site, but I was wondering if I could talk it up. I think he needs it to set our team intoproper gear. We are literally just lacking a better shot to goal ratio. We would win more games with that conversion sorted. We are suffering from the Kane syndrome. If we had his conversion rate under this system we would be there wjth tbe championship race.
We should have a keeper lined up and deal agreed in principle, incase Forster gets injured so we can act immediately. Vic won't be back until March at the earliest
Thanks, Ali! COYS! 🙏🏾👍🏾👏🏾
When is Dog going to make another appearance?
Ange should just post an FAQ before the press conferences. Then refer newbie journos to the items on then
Ange said in the interview, "You will see that I would love to be a right winger in my team mate, I would score bags of goals." Does that imply he uses his left wingers differently than how he uses his right winger?
I like the idea of GK @ Burnley his last name is Trafford . He’s not the biggest goalkeeper but has incredible distribution and is quite 2 footed. He’s young enough and good enough to properly challenge big Vic. I think he’d also be attainable in January. However I hope that they don’t compromise and get the GK that Ange wants. If that’s in the summer so be it.
If unlikely Burnley go up they could be tempted..aren't they in the playoff positions...
Not sure if you realise but he's 6ft6, definitely a solid keeper though.
Is it because this system doesn't suit Son? He's not a line hugging winger.
We had loads of chances it was the finishing that let us down. Not the system in this case. Plus laspe in defence in the final stages again
System doesn’t get the best out of any of them.
Because “he’s perfect for Ange’s system” and “He’s the one Ange wanted so I trust Ange”?🤷♂️
I’ve got no idea where the love for this manager comes from - the first ten games of last season are a long time ago now.
I agree to an extent , love Ange brand of football but i do want to win something .. Mate it's been to long without a trophy ..COYS !!
That fella from talksport, moose or whatever moniker he uses, complete numpty. Always provocative clearly trying to get a click bait comment from Ange.
The Moose is a die hard Waste-ham supporter and quite unashamedly unprofessional with it I'm afraid. 🤷🏾♂️
Thank you !
Blah. Blah. Blah.
Yes, they feed the sausage machine.
You know … when you said about those 2 annoying questions, I immediately thought it would be 🫎 who asked. I’ve just seen the presser 😂
@DjNaste I totally agree with . We just need a couple more players who play the ange wants them to play coys
COYS
Ange loves Deki. It's obvious to hear.
Solanke so unlucky the other night. If that header is 3 inches lower we are talking about a brilliant goal. Team in total hit the woodwork 3 times. We really should have blew them away within 60 minutes
Roll up, roll up for Big Ange’s Tottenham Globetrotters! ⚽️🎪🍿
Hey 👋 Ali , if you can’t win draw ! If we can turn those L’s when we’re not perfect would be great step fwd. hope you and family are well and that your training is going well. I hope your knees are holding up. Have you got a treadmill? Less harsh on the knees ! Or do you prefer training outside? “ it’s who I am mate “! 😂
Nice vid EHHHYYYY 👍
Ali I've got a question......but I'm gonna talk a bit more about that later on 😂
Cooper at Sheffield United is a top quality keeper but i doubt we’d be able to get him off them
I just want to win. Idc how it happens. Even Pep’s man city sides are very boring to watch despite how successful they’ve been over the last 8-9 years.
@@grahammerry7031 Villa were NOT pragmatic… They were time wasting from the off, especially their “world class” keeper, with players dropping like flies all over the park, even at 1…1. If that’s pragmatic you can keep it, or go support a “pragmatic” team…. there’s plenty of them out there.
The league is too good to always keeping yourself exposed
Short memory you have, we were far and away the most boring team to watch in the league under Poch. Fans hated it
"I don't care" are heights some wish to scale.
@ I’m not sure if you’re memory is jaded, but everyone was raving pochettino’s style of play. All the fans and media said that his and klopp’s were the teams they liked to watch. Towards the end for pichettino in 2019, it got stale
Sounds like a Thurdstay issue there Ali. (Sorry couldn’t resist the bad pun)
Seen some fans moaning that we were lucky their go and given offside as we still conceded when catching offside is a skill and few seasons ago flag would’ve already gone up - like the Liverpool team from 80s that won everything would often catch opposition offisde but if was now ball would go in net before offside eventually given
Indeed mate. Unfortunately a percentage of our fan base has the IQ of a lobotomized lettuce.
Does anyone know what happened to Mikey Moore? Is he still sick ?
Seems a little odd this one. They are saying virus. Something tells me there's a little more to it that might be more personal and they are just protecting him being only 16.
Do journalists want to be at Ange’s press conferences?
No sigh from Ali Gold.
The Paulo Dibacle…
Nice
What's happened to Dorrington, Hall, and Kyrematen? Have they been replaced in Tottenham's thinking by Olussasi, Hardy, and King?
Thank you Alasdair, I get so fed up with reporters, pundits and so called fans not understanding how Ange wants us to play and the reason behind it. Keep it up 👍
Most journalist questions show either how little they really know about football or how lazy they actually are.
Should we be expecting take ons from our wingers? At moment we have virtually no succesful take on attempts coming off
He meant RWs, not himself, in that team setup. #Bags
Hey Alasdair, is there a risk of burning out Solanke with a lack of options other than Sonny? Let’s be honest, Richarlison’s body can’t be relied on anymore. I guess Lankshear is an option, but in which games? Enjoy your weekend.😊
They could have put kulusevski as a false 9 and given Solanke on the a 15-20 minutes yesterday. Lankshear better get minutes
Honestly the rudeness to keep asking BA about pragmatism is unbelievable, it’s like asking Mozart if he’s ever considered writing skiffle music 🙄
Comparing Ange to Mozart is something I didn’t think I’d ever read…😂
@@jonzygon391: both conductors :o)
hey Ali, genuine question because I don't know the world of sports journalism; why don't journalists do an internet search of their questions before asking them? like it's all pretty easily accessible online and if you're are already researching other related material then would the 5 mins (max) it takes to google a question to see if it's already been asked really be so difficult? genuinely, I sound cross but isn't that just... doing decent journalism? if a big part of your job is to get attention and clicks, and you get that by providing new and interesting information, then shouldn't you be striving to ask decent questions? is that not just a part of doing your research appropriately? I mean unless you're a total scumbag agency that is intentionally trying to piss Ange off (which let's be real, could very much be the situation at this point...)
anyways thanks! sorry for being so ignorant, this has just always bothered me and I'd love to hear your feedback if you have it!!
