Exactly what I was looking for. Good video bruh. Keep grindn!
I watched a few different wides, and yours is the most informative and shows all the issues in detail. Thanks
Thank you for showing the differens with the wather and nd filter. So much better with nd
Looking good!
Yep, polished, straight to the point, and overall high quality work. Yes, I think I'll subscribe. Oh and consistency helps.
Thank you very much
Wow. Amazing instructional video. I love it
Thank you
SUPER AWESOME
I have all of the freewell lenses. Well worth the money.
Will consider buying the filter, bought Samsung galaxy s23 ultra a while ago. Good review, thank you.
Cool..thank you
Man I wanna get the 23 Ultra so bad but I'm gonna hold out for the 24 Ultra. Currently using the 22 Ultra. Best phone series easily. The Freewell filter system is so good and hoping they continue it with the newer phones.
Do the lens work with a 22 ultra?
Hai Chad..thanks for sharing this video 🎉🎉🎉🎉great video
I am watching from Riyadh Saudi, Arabia. 😮 i am using Samsung23 ultra i love your content❤ Happy Vacation Sir
Super helpful video man. I subscribed. Hope you do more phone videos.
Thank you..
Very nice video 😄
Hi Chad. Thank you for sharing this video. I have been looking for ways to improve my use of a smartphone for casual street photography and videos.
You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it.
what was the ND filter number you were using ? and how do you choose which one to use? and does different ND filter number means different settings as well?
Nice! I can use a filter setup for the S23. Currently use it on a 1.1 lb carbon fiber tripod that I put one leg under the Mavic 3 Pro and Air 3 bag's big flap. Stick the Insta360 Flow on the tripod, set a hand ✋️ gesture to track/record and i am good to go. I may check out filters, if I do, I'll use your link!
Edit: like these a lot more than Moments stuff. They largely abandoned Samsung owners in the past. Not wanting to kick the football Lucy/Moment is holding again, lol! 😂
Nice! The camera on the S23 Ultra is pretty decent. A good alternative for those run and gun situations. The Filters definitely enhances the look.
Yeah Freewell took advantage of Moment's abandonment.
Banger video my dude
Thank you.
Good job !
Thank you.
Thanks for your effort one new sub here
Thank you
Dayum....I've been thinking of picking up this set but haven't seen any reviews on it........until now.
Its great,I also have one and when you use it correctly the level of the s23 ultra's camera is extraordinary
What's a good filter for the gym when it is dim inside the gym? More for a cinematic look?
do i have to buy the whole nd filter set or i can buy only 1 filter lets say ND filter 1000 ?
Dude! Just found your channel as I've **just** picked up the same ND filters and case for my S23 Ultra. I was thinking of also picking up the CPL. Is it any good?? Also, can you share what music you used in this video please? LOVED IT!
Thanks. I haven't used the PL, so I don't know about that. The link to where I get my Music is in the description.
@@ChadB Thanks Chad! Can you share the exact track you used? I know and used to use Epidemic sound. Thanks!
Is dji om 6 compatible with that?
Thank you
I believe we should use 30fps and shutter speed 1/60 for normal video and 60fps + speed 1/120 if we need to make it slow motion in post. I try alot video with 24fps + 1/50 speed and videos usually look... not smooth. May be because the Phone camera still can not compare to DSLR... Anyway, unless you intend to make a cinematic shot or movie shot, than I think 30fps better than 24fps.
It's because these OEM phone makers bake in too much contrast and pixel edge sharpness when they collect the image from the raw sensor and write it into a highly compressed HEVC codec with low mbps. All these factors are the hallmarks of tiny ENG digital sensors in broadcast, NOT film. Broadcast is all about capturing run and gun events, acquiring an image that is ready to go out of the box. Film is about curation and craft of the image, generally in post process.
Shooting in 24fps-1/48 obviously helps to some degree, but too much contrast and edge sharpness, and too much compression work against cinematic motion blur.
You're best bet is to use a camera app that takes back the control (to an extent) the OEMs remove from general users. Say like Filmic Pro.
For the S23U specifically, you can shoot in 10bit HDR mode in the native camera app in Pro Mode. You can also enable "High bitrate video" under the "Advanced video options" tab in the app's settings.
When you bring your 10bit HDR+ clips into DaVinci Resolve (free app) you will instantly notice they were shot in a log color space, NOT rec709. REC2020 to be exact. Thus, these files retain a fair amount of detail and information in the shadows and highlights.
If you then are more subtle with your grading skills (avoid spreading out the contrast values too wide) you can get a far more "cinematic" look and feel than you could otherwise using the clips straight out of the box. Also, your motion blur will be more perceptual than before.
There's options out there. But you have to know they exist.
Did you know the main sensor/camera on the S23U is actually 12bit 4:4:4? Samsung does not give third party app developers access to it. Still, 10bit 4:2:2 still holds up remarkably well in the grade. As long as you don't go all ham.
You're welcome.
How has the selfie stick held up? Seen a few people report breakages or worn out joints
Yeah, it's getting a little loose.
@ChadB have you noticed any shutter lag when using the Bluetooth grip?
I've noticed a delay from the moment I press the button until the shutter goes off. Is that what you're referring to?
@@ChadB yes! There's quite a delay from what I've experienced.
Thank you for the video.
Not gonna get it 😂 I'm not a professional anyway but I'm interested to get one of these. I only have small Manfrotto tripod and Q18 gimbal stabilizer.
Hi! Is there any android app to dequezz the video in the smartphone itself?
I think you desqueeze the Filimic Pro App.
Is it ok to film in 60 fps mode with ND filter on galaxy s24 ultra? Also i have my dji osmo mobile 6, so i hope will not be too heavy with filter and case
Yes, you can film whatever frame rate you like.
if you were to buy single ND filter for S23Ultra what it is that you recommend that is most usable?
If you could only buy one, i suggest the ND16. In some situations, you will have to use a fast shutter speed to get an even exposure. But it won't be as fast as it would be without an ND filter
@ChadB Thank you sir!!
4:43min in is some strange flickering on passing by the white billboard pizza hut sign. What causes that?
I believe it's the electronic stabilization when using a lower frame rate. It's more noticeable when using the ultra wide view.
@@ChadB wow just found out the built in ND filters in the Expert Raw mode works really well if you are without real ND Filters for shooting photos.
Got case and filters but the auto focus now is very very slow and not usable :(
Yeah, you're right about the AF
Will this case fit my S23+? I don't have the Ultra.
No It doesn't fit the 23 plus. They only make it for the Ultra.
Is there any good filters for a S24+? I can not find it 😢
Yeah sorry, they don't make it for the plus.
No...just the Ultra which are the same filters, but different case because of the slight change in shape
Bro where did you go in portuagl??? It's beautiful and thinking of taking the wife there.😊
Visited Lisbon, Cascais, Porto, and then did a few day trips to other places.
@@ChadB
Thank you God bless
Where i find this kit
Link is in the description
Does this work for photos aswell?
You can take photos with it on, but there's no need for it unless you're doing long exposure photography.
@ChadB i find the S23 drains the colour from images using the camera, would these filters help make this better and more natural.
If you turn off image stabilization in the camera settings, you won't get the Jello look with the anamorphic lens
does it fit on s24ultra?
You would olny need to buy the case for the 24 Ultra since the shape is slightly different. But all the same filters would fit.
@@ChadB thank you
the problem is i dont find the case for 24
maybe do u have a link where i can find it?
tia
Here you go. amzn.to/4911qRl
@@ChadB awesome, thank you so so much!!!!!
Is it avaliable for S22 Ultra?
Unfortunately not. Only for the S23 Ultra
@@ChadB s23 ultra and s22 ultra have a difference in size?
Yes, there are differences with the size and shape.

Hello 😊 I have no experience, what Kit do u suggest for Photo and some videos? Standard kit? Unfortunately I have no experience 😕
23 Ultra users, lets be honest you dont need all this crap😂
