…And if you insist on using the Basarios HBG for whatever reason (…I know it’s not great, but for me, it’s still fun🥲), use the fire set, but since it only requires recoil +1, replace that paolumu mail with Basarios mail for that lovely Artillery +2 attack bonus for wyvern ammo!🤯🤣
Not only is it fun! I believe its the ultimate support weapon in group hunts. Poison and Sleep is a pretty ridiculous combo. You dont need to hit the head either to stun like sticky ammo. If your building it, you'll help a lot in groups.
I kinda wanna make rajang hbg just to easily kill and break kushala's horns. I already have the build pieces ready and upgraded. I wanna see the will-never-achieve driftsmelt build too 😂 I have zino db but its really hard to break the horns with them and imo db is a risky weapon pick for kushala (you run out of demon mode when he does the oneshot tornado) My only concern about the rajang hbg is that it doesnt have slicing ammo 😢 and I suck at using cluster ammo 😅
Im in the same boat lol. Cluster is cool, but that time frame it takes for it to fire isnt the best. I'll need a lot more practice to get that timing down.
I just took a grade 5.5 Rajang HBG to a 6* Kushala EDI…and, ummmm…it’s pretty darn effective!😨 It is certainly not a precision weapon by any means, but it’ll certainly cause indiscriminate destruction!😅
It’s just the limitation of LBGs in general sadly. This is the most damage without taking your ults into consideration and that’s only if you’re playing solo because if someone hits and wastes the first move in group play it’s not gonna be pretty lol.

I have a Rajang HBG stun build Aknosom Paolumu Barroth Barroth Diablos basically it has: Guard +3 Defensive Reloading +2 Slugger +2 Recoil Reduction +2 it takes advantage of the 4 sticky ammo right off the bat it instantly stuns the monsters when hit on the head right on the bat like magno (the tiger like monster) and it has guard 3 to make the blocked attacks "tolerable"
Wow all the armor and wpns are ones that take months to accure due to low spawn rates or seasonel events. I think you showed do a pure budget builds too. The coral build is almost non exisistant to get because i hav3 beenplayinh for montha now and havent even seen one spawn. And i am level 60 now. Yes i know there are seasonel events and level requirements for opening up accessing these equipment. How long did you take to take accure all these equipments
The thing is this is best builds. If your brand new you shouldn’t worry about these right now, but rather going after your full build for your weapon class. Example Focus Lv.5 if your a bow main.
It’s because you lose DPS due to the knock back. The data takes into account motion values for bowguns and this matters because of your recoil and reload speeds. Firing your shots faster = more damage. Some only need 1 while the rest need 3 for the most optimal set up.

Because if you compare in terms of animation, there is no major difference for using Recoil Down 2 or 3 for Sticky and Cluster ammo. You do notice the difference if you only use 1 Recoil Down. But still, the difference is negligible if you have actually tested in real battles.
Actually i have tested it lol. There's a slight difference if your trying to aim against a moving target. If you have enough practice you can just ignore it. But at the same time all two piece combos will give you Recoil 3 and Reload 3 so its just nitpicking at this point lol.
I MIGHT max out the Black Diablos HBG. Im just lacking mats. But thats a project for the future. I'm trying to be careful because im totally spending a lot of zenny on the MHN Carnival Weapons.
Ice Attack doesn't have a lot of flexible pieces so the math turns to Kushala Frostwind. Once Ice Attack gets more variety for more slots then we'll see it take over the Kushala build.
Question: Mitigating the Negative Affinity for both BD and Rajang HBG is a waste of time and resources? Kushala Frostwind is better than Ice Attack 4/5?
Correct. This is because sticky and cluster don’t apply crit. Frostwind is only better because of how ice doesn’t have a lot of flexibility and it still gives an ice damage boost. If ice had more options for ice attack these results would be different.
I mean per the data a cluster HBG is the highest raw damage lol. It’s not bad either because you don’t really have to aim. You just need to time it right.

Why does Kushala Frost wind armor not take priority for Kushala ice HBG?

How about the Rude Awakening Skill on NS HBG?
Honestly RA only really works for great sword and the LBG since you can pop your special skill for the damage. The HBG specials don’t do well with RA.
