- This was a huge challenge. This time I'm hunting 100 monsters in the Guiding Lands in one single expedition with the goal of seeing the most insane rewards screen ever.
In addition, I had to:
1. Switch weapons every 10 hunts
2. Favor tempered monsters
3. Cut off as many tails as possible.
I hope you enjoy this amazing run through the Guiding Lands! It took me 22 hours to record and over 40 hours of editing just to get this all together :D

Some of us laughed, others were worried he'd gone insane. 22 long hours we waited. The commander suggested we send a scouting party to find his body, but as we gathered our gear..he returned. Literal heaps of feystones, mountains of monster parts, a belly full of mushrooms and a heart full of stories. I'll never forget that man..."

It sounds like the commander said it instead of the hunters.
Because it fits more to his way of speaking. To tell other hunters from a new fleet.
The image of a man dragging behind him the corpses of nearly 100 monsters is intimidating even more so when you realize a fair few are STILL ALIVE and one of witch is a savage deviljoe
i can just imagine them being pulled in by a caravan of aptonath with wagons behind them carrying the monsters bodies@@vridathegrimm
You can tell he had been playing for 22 hours straight by the weird, uncontrollable, delirious laughter at the end.

can you imagine the terror of the handler? Your hunter goes on 34 hunts without resting, and then stands still for several days (from her perspective), then only moves once again to hunt 30+ more monsters in a row without resting.
He was just letting her catch up on the necessary paperwork.

The tales are still around to this day, of a hunter who departed into the Guiding lands, only to return with not one, not two, or even ten skulls, but 100 skulls. He fed Astera for an entire year on that day.

not a single large monster dared to tread the sanctified guiding lands ever again.
I am convinced that this is capcoms peak with this franchise. It’s fairly old by game standards, but still looks amazing and still has that special feeling to it. It’s community is still dedicated, and gives it the love and attention it deserves

It's definitely an incredible game and holds up super well. Excited to see what else Capcom will do, but very happy with my time in World haha.

I was terrified of that big time
I'm not gonna lie,my favorite part of the video wasn't even the monster hunt. It was hearing how much joy you had in playing the game. It's too often that I hear heavy critics about the small issues or tiny flaws of a game that to just hear someone be so happy about something so simple as hunting monsters, it literally made my day so much better. Oh and congrats on 1k subscribers. I think it was just a couple weeks ago that you had only 747 subscribers. Keep up the fantastic work.

I love how Tigrex is super intimidating but the best strategy is to get right up underneath him. One of the things that makes this game so special is that many monsters have nonapparent weaknesses you really need to spend time to discover.
Yes! Anjanath is the same way. You gotta get in it's face even though that's the most dangerous part of him

you cannot get attack 4 unless it's a sealed freystone
It feels weird not using capacity bonus and timing guard points with the charge blade, however is refreshing watching content creators still having fun instead of only doing perfect speed runs and no talking at all.

after playing months of rise, seeing this game again, it looks so beautiful graphically
It's held up SO well.
given similar gameplay, it is comparable to elden ring for real, at least on par with lies of p, if not better in places, that's an amazing feat. Sometimes they are Crapcom, with SF 5 early release or Rise for example, sometimes they are CAPGOD.

I loved guiding lands because I could just hunt whatever showed up for as long as I wanted and it was just super chill in a way that was so much more rewarding and condensed than an expedition
Wish sunbreak had a similar area
I enjoy the Guiding Lands a lot, it's super fun 😁
When my friend and me played MHW actively we'd always open up our guiding lands and then farm there for hours, just any monster that would appear. Sometimes strangers would join and stick around, others would ask for monsters and we'd help. It was great, I really missed guiding lands in Rise and I hope that it'll be a returning feature in the next game.

I actually did something similar, I had a week off of work in early 2020, and a friend and I literally went into Guiding Lands and set both our lands up from start to finish. Good times. Also explains our near 3k hours played. The rewards screen gets epic at 50, the hardest thing to do in all of this is stay alive. No carting seems like a "no brainer" kinda thing to say, but the reality of surviving all 100 hunts get harder the longer you stay in.

I just would like to say that this game and it's community are amazing. Back when I started, and mind you world was my first Monster Hunter game ever, I didn't know anything, I remember picking it up playing the tutorial, then going to hunt Jagras and struggling with the controls, stopping for some time until I went to the reddit page and ask a few tips, everyone was so kind and helpful.
Seriously, this community is amazing :D
As a brand new hunter (first game in the series and only 5 hours in the game) the Anjunath scares me. But I also haven't had to hunt one properly yet, I've only fought it while hunting for the Pukei pukei. And it went okay, Carried by the Guardian armour they gave at the start of the game, but I didn't die so that was a win.
Oh you'll learn to love him, he's a great monster 😄
Ngl, World was my first I really played. Have 4U but haven't really played it for real. But when I saw that Anjunath the first time, I'm like that too. I avoided it when I saw it until I had to face it for progression. It's a good feeling after my first W.
The fire snot T-Rex is fun as hell
The Guardian Armour is so op. It completely removes the gameplay out of the entire base game.
If some of you thought about using it, perhaps in the first 10 hunts to get the controls down, sure, but after that, if you wanna LEARN learn the game, don't use it. This goes for Defender weapons as well.
I love joing any time i see the Pukei Quest posted so i can slap that particular Anjanath around.
Alternative title: Causing mass extinction in the guiding lands!

- Velkhana is the best punching bag/training pole in the game - fight me, i will take y'all!!

- You fought Rajang in a extra hard mode: Solo, with dual blades with a element that he resists against xD

This is kind of how I play the Guiding Lands. I will hunt monsters based on what I find randomly (or specifically, depending on what I'm looking for) and I will keep capturing/killing monsters until I faint once or have to get off. I'd end up going on super crazy and really fun streaks on completed builds and the reward screen is always the cherry on top. Love this game, still playing it even today.

My very first mission in Sunbreak, after downloading it, was joining a random player's Tour and we proceeded to kill a few dozen monsters, all of which were well beyond my MR 1 reach.
So many monsters. So much loot. So much fun.

Favorite weapon so far is dual blades! But I'm looking forward to learning the Switch Axe
I main Hammer and casually play longsword and insect glaive (which i learned for fatalis cause hammer wasnt doing well for me)
@@_Richard1906_ Oh Another bonk buddy, hammer is my main weapon too bro, and in Fatalis I use GreatSword due to the greater range of this weapon.
@@GiddyFoxGaming Dual Blades are very good and even better in sieges to cut or break some parts of monsters...
Switch Axe is an awesome weapon, but a little complicated for me, unfortunately.
@MadsonRuanSousa i tried great sword yesterday the dmg numbers are a big plus but idk if its for me. i might have to try it a bit more.
Ive also been meaning to get into a ranged weapon lately (bow most likely) but I have really looked into the movesets yet
Early in the video, but here is the best advice for the grinding lands.
If you dont like the monster there, just throw a ban ball at it. You can get them from the elder melder and only work in your own grinding lands, but they are a godsent.
Also, one lvl in geologist will make you pick hp stuff twice. It is very useful if you wanna farm some stuff.
Edit: finally through the video. And thats one hell of an ending. But how where you able to loot all the monsters? Cause the carving inventory has the same size as the inventoryfor potions and the like?

Each time you go into the tent to resupply it'll drop the carved/mined things into the box and empties itself. Worth doing if grinding out stuff on a normal expedition with Geologist and Botanist for supplies on a map, or going wild and just killing monsters non-stop with only going to the tent to restock on supplies.
Good concept, well executed. I'd love to try it myself.

Nicely done ive never ever hunted 100 monsters in a single guiding lands before and ive been playing the game going on 5 years xD. Also did anyone tell you geologist let's u pick up the shiny drops from monsters twice at lv1 and gather more if u can get lv2 or 3 It really helps getting the monster materials or bones/ore. Part breaker also helps with monsters dropping more parts if u have geologist with it u can pick up those extra part drops even more!
It's a fun little challenge, give it a shot!
I did know that, yep. I didn't want to spend the time collecting all the shiny drops for the 100 hunts on this on haha.

@@GiddyFoxGaming Quick question! How were you charging your Axe while using CS? I was noticing the Axe head spinning and the Axe icon appearing by the charged shield icon. Ive never seen that nor been able to replicate. Thanks!
Yeppers! Charge phials, go into SAED, but mid animation hit the slinger fire button (for me it's "c" on the keyboard) and you'll cancel the SAED and instead charge your axe
