Not enough education and awareness is the main problem i reckon of conflict because it leads to assumptions and judgements of a person when its simply who they are. So glad after all the shit i went through i have licence, 2 beautiful boys and a house not fully the ideal i envision coz hey sloth, but getting there as i come to terms with all my demons and stop pushing it on others 😊 also my partner doing this music app ai which in his words he is killing it coz he freestyles has helped me return to my writing as i give up easily when criticised but as he said don't assume your writing is bad from the get go let others make that assessment. I was thinking diagnosis with mental health aren't 100 percent. And no doctor says oh znd disclaimer we may have this wrong. I say this because i have multiple diagnosis such as schizophrenia, then rediagnosed to bpd, and now thats been questioned. My point is perhaps the idea of archetypes is like the realm of mental illness, a working progress not 100 percent but a ballpark idea of what that thing may be. I say this because i noticed my personality type infp tends to overlap with well mental illness such as adhd, and or bpd or even depression, or autism. Thats simply an observation as i am still learning about both certain areas in psychology including mental health and archetypes. And yes as cs joseph has said in earlier videos you need to be careful with personality archetypes and making an attempt to type yourself as unless you know yourself with very well you are going to get a misdiagnosis you could call it like mental health professionals who only skim the surface and make a superficial judgement with out asking the correct questions or delving deeper and deeper into why and what has occurred in that persons life. Is it nurture, is it nature, is it linked to other elements sharing similarities and so on. As my dad would say take what you read and learn with a pinch of salt as you never know what to be true and what not unless you do extensive research and application. I for one have had a dramatic positive change from learning my type and learning about my short comings which may or may not be centred around my personality or my mental health as i have noticed the overlay.
You really have to be in the theory to get it, I mean there are some statistical correlations about income and mental health and a lot of other things that can be drawn from the ideas from typology, plus the stereotypes of each type do end up being true for people in the real world but you really have to be good at applying Theory and if you're not it's not going to make sense and you're going to think about it too rigidly

Just because you have not seen something, it doesnt mean it doesnt exist. The big 5 is good, but it is not so practical as it does not show you a particular pattern in the future.
