  • Update** 01-17-2021 the light stopped working again in the cold. took it apart and it appears the e switch is working with correct voltage. i suspect the head is bad with loose solder or a bad driver or two. the only blinks to let me know current is going through.

The LM 10 uses anduril ui and I have gotten the sst20 4000k variant.
I did have some issues with connectivity with the light and i cleaned the threads alittle and the tube connector and also calibrated the temperature measurements. This appears to have solved the issue for now.
In the video I had my brother help with his new thermal scope in showing the temperature difference between a titanium fw3t nichia 219c 4000k vs the sst20 4000k LM 10 copper. This is not a scientific comparison or a fair one but we were curious to see how each would heat up in the scope.
This is a heavy light I dont have a weight to measure but I'd guess its more than 1lbs atleast.
Let me know what you think of the Lumintop LM 10 in copper.
Update * some more info based on reddit - FET : one direct drive channel (turned on/off with a mosfet), the output is only limited by the total resistance of the circuit, output is reduced with PWM dimming.
7 : 7xAMC7135 linear constant current regulator in parallel, 350mA each, total of ~2.5A, dimmable with PWM.
    1 : 1xAMC7135, also dimmable with PWM.
I did not know what fet 7+1 wa and now I have an idea. Thanks for the info!
Filmed on a panasonic gh2, aperture 7.1, iso 400, white balance at 3000k for the general shots, fps 24, 14-42mm lens. Audio recording equipment used were, sound devices 302 mixer, 744t routed into the gh2, inside audio mics the audio technica at pro 70 lav and at822 stereo xy mic, outside audio with the zoom h6 with mid side mic and Rodelink filmmaker wireless lav kit.

Hey bro, what is the total maximum lumens if the emitter is SST20?

I am not sure as the technical data varies and doesnt list a specific number for the sst20 emitter, the xpl hi I think does 2800lm so it must be less than that. I would guess around 1300-1600lm.

I can't seem to find runtimes on the lm10 anywhere

its hard to calculator when in ramp mode and the step mode can be recalibrated thus making tough to get a standard run time as people will probably customize the brightness levels to their own standards. if you generally keep the light on the lower steps you can get about 5 hours or so run time considering the heat and amps youre pulling.
