Finally someone actually explaining the settings, not just "turn everything to low" ❤️
MY GOD WHAT A GREAT CHANNEL!! IM IN LOVE!
and yeah it's such an amazing explanation
@@joaojahrmann Another great channel is benchmarking
I've seen many graphic guides for different games. Yours is one of the best formats. Short but shows the impact of all the different settings in both the FPS and visual differences. Great job!
This video is SO WELL MADE! GG man thank you so much!
This is a great display of how to properly make a video settings guide. Well done!
Foliage changes can be observed in the practice server while looking at the ground near the chairs. It adds random leaves on the concrete, but doesn't change the quality of the bushes or grass.
straight to the point. with tests and discription / examples. Love it
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
Hey man, loved the guide! Are you planning on covering more games with this format?
You won a new subscriber!
This was the exact video I was trying to find for The Finals. Thank you.
Goated video, perfect structure, nice & easy to understand graphs, thats how it should be done. Thanks alot man! 🏆💯
Fantastic video, mate. I reninstalled Windows and all my settings were rest so this is the second time using this video.
This is an excellent graphics comparison video.
Actual visual comparisons with framerate stats.
very solid explanation with realtime data! well done!!
short and to the point, kudos to you. subbed.
what a great video man, earned sub and like 100% much love
Truely a spectacular setting guide! 10/10 would recommend!
cheers, this is what ive been looking for!
Thank you for this Video and lovely Christmas Days for you Buddies ✌🏻😊
Perfect video!! Thanks!
Excellent video, man!
Great video! an example of how these video's should be done. Instead of just tunneling on frames show what the settings actually do.
At times it's worth the minimal performance hit to turn something on that can improve your experience.
Safe to say you earned yourself a new subcriber from both of my accounts.
This guide was very good, i am averaging around 130-140 fps now. I did but effects to low for me medium felt like the image was shimmering but once i put it on low it seemed to clean the image but more.
very well made vid. thanks
Great overview, thanks
best video settings guide ever seen tbh
really well explained 👌
Please do benchmarks for CPU bound scenario as well!
Great content!
great video 🦔❄
Great comparison
Thank you!
Great video!
Good video bro!
great video!
Great video
I've noticed with low textures that you load in slower than on medium.
in the training area stand in front of the big advertisement (like 10m away) on the building and see the difference from low to medium textures. u should keep the textures setting on medium ^^
Would be cool if u list the settings u ended up with in the video description or a pinned comment
3:18 . i didnt play with settings, but i noticed i am 80% blind when going from dark to light areas if its back lit, i wasnt sure if it was the game as intended. i'll try to play with static instead. most people have outlines, so needing to see when dark isnt that big of an issue... maybe its the bloom
good work
For the GI resolution setting, I don’t think RT Global Illumination is functioning in the training room, as I saw zero difference between setting it to static and on, even after destroying the house. It likely only uses the sun or moon as a light source to reduce cost.
would do view distance to high. u can see the diffrence in sliced curtains for example, diff between high and epic are starting at ~20m, in high u cannot see through the small parts of the curtains, in epic ure able to look through.
But didnt know, global illum. has this feature to brighten up dark spots, that helped me, thanks
And with foliage, u can see more leaves on the floor btw. So look at streets where trees are and u can see the diffs between the settings, should be on low.
Thanks to the new graphics setting i will actually SEE you in the finals

As said, fps takes a dip during the light loading, this introduces inconsistent fps increase and decreases, and with so much explosions happening all the time around cashouts, it'd be a laggy mess. Keeping the frame rate stable keeps your latency consistent and maintaining your consistent growth. Varies per PC specifications but still something i thought should drop by for those unaware
Tip: at the end show the overall settings so that someone can watch it then copy the settings at the end?
The performance during these settings (mainly upscaling) vary a lot with different harware gonfigurations,
Eg. I tested the game on 3 pcs and with the lower end CPUs using dlss or taau, it did not make any difference (1-2fps avg), so i think everybody needs to try out for themselves, which is better for the performance
But everything else than fps, the video is really good, and i can see that you put the fps there as a reference to performance!
Any testing on what setting affects invisibility ? There seems to be a lot of talk about certain people being able to see them fairly well, while others cant see them at all or as if they are almost fully invisible. I have this issue, in S1, then start of S2 it was seemingly normal but now its how it was in S1 where people were basically almost fully invis.
I noticed upscalers maybe just fsr adds a lot of input latency
Ty
did my own testing dlss dlaa looks the best obviously but there is a small amount of ghosting taau looks slightly less sharp very slightly and no ghosting so that's what I'm using the implimitation doesn't look great but way better then fsr
Is leaving DLSS on Auto okay or should I pick a specific setting? Auto says it will pick a preset based on my resolution and based on the GPU utilization it seems to be using Quality.
Would be nice to see the optimal settings for spotting invis players
Thank you so much for your meticulous work! This might as well be scientific!
EDIT: I'm playing on RTX epic and I'm loving it!
Do you recomend enable Nvidia FG?
Thank you ❤, btw my graphics card doesn't support support dlss or rtx specific features, should i use FSR?
Yep, go with FSR 👍
any tip to make more fps in the game using some other things that game settings?
Like this comment if you’d like to see a general guide on optimizing your PC for gaming 👍
I usually play at 4K with everything set to ultra and DLSS on performance but I’ll try this instead ! Even tho I get above 90fps every game
Is there anyway to make it look less blurry? Frame rate is great with your settings though. No matter what i do it looks blurred.
for me, the best looking and competitive settings with a 4090 are DLAA, Textures-Epic, View distance-High, Shadows-Medium and everything else on Low (Anti-aliasing doesn't matter for DLSS). I get 250-300fps with frame gen on with a 240hz monitor so it works out perfectly and gives me the cleanest look after extensive testing
dlaa is useless at 4k bro
@@commenter2346 im playing on 1440p/2K. turning down DLSS from DLAA to quality i can already see medium range trees having blurred edges
With frame generation you have a Higher latency, so turn it off.
the latency difference is minimal in comparison to the fps difference.@@Nasty134
For whatever reason, TAAU gives me the best fps, over all the FSR options, and the FSR options give me horrific blur.
I didnt get anywhere near those numbers with dlss, I went from like 60 fps native to like 88 fps at ultra performance. With a 3070 & 5800x. The rest of the settings look amazing tho, so I should see a huge boost in fps while also improving graphics thanks for this video.
I’m running mostly low with FSR2 quality (seems to have less ghosting on enemies in motion than dlss). I’m playing in 4K with a 3090 and 5800x. Im only seeing about 90-105fps. I’m starting to think the 5800x is severely limiting me in this game after seeing others with a 3080 running at 170+ fps. I don’t see much of an improvement even at lower resolutions so that pretty much confirms it I guess.
What is your CPU temperatures in game?
Is there a setting that makes invisible light player easier to see? 😅
would this be different if 1080p was native?
I have a RX460 (with no fans because it broke) but i was able to play the beta and finish the season 1 BP!!
I love this game but i tried to get a little upgrade (a RX580 from china) but it has shown some problems and the game crashes.. unfortunatly i can't play The finals, but rn my urge its to get a nvidia GPU for playing it ahahha
Serious tho, great video. i loved it!
1:21 says DLSS Q better looking than FSR Q even though its clear that fsr is sharper and has more detail preserved.
Im on a 3080 as well and just have everything on max, not 4k though 😰
How to deactivate all the hackers in ranked? Is there an option.
is it true that upscaling causes input delay i saw a clip of itztimmyz saying it does just curious
Reflex on basically negates that
playing on lowest possible i can say it harder to spot someone or use recon but playable.
Bro in this game my cpu is at 100% and gpu is on working 70 % with 90-110 fps .so which settings will put more load on gpu rather than cpu
Try using TAAU instead of DLSS/FSR and enabling Effects to medium or higher.
um ackshually, you should set everything to low to get the best framerate 🤓
side note: fsr does have crisper lines though so it might be worth the trade off for you
dlaa looks better, but i notice more latency compared to taa, its noticable when tracking
I hope they implement ray reconstruction in this game. That would give some nice boosts to performance while still slathering baby oil on everything
which resolution would u recommend to get more fps?
stretched, doesn't make everything so blurry it's unplayable and boosts fps considerably
I don't think ray traced global illumination matters because enemies are highlighted
I bet if Handler saw this video he would subscribe
I tested the settings, and sadly RTX Global Illumination dropped the framerate a lot, even on the lowest dynamic option.
On average, FPS dropped from 140 to 90 on an RTX 3080 with an undervolted Ryzen 5 5600 (this might be bottlenecking it).
3000 series not designed for ray tracing
yes it is??@@ogulcanmdev
@@ogulcanmdevWhat???😂😂😂
@@ogulcanmdevI would like to read more on that. Care to elaborate your statement?
Static images don't tell the full story. DLAA looks really good in static scenes but the moment you start moving the mouse, the ghosting is horrendous. All of these AA options are blurry AF.
wow, the difference between RTX ON and OFF here 3:04 is huge
Which setting is the best for seeing cloaked enemies? :)
Haven’t found anything yet for those sneaky bastards…
i just run thermal. i even set a macro so it pulls out thermal, clicks, then swaps to my weapon all on one click. Invis players think im walling.
Texture setting greatly affects the billboard drawing, it looks extremely low res on anything under high
Why use upscaling at all in an fps?
Because it increases performance in GPU bound cases?
a fake fps increase is not performance?@@117-0
Any video, like this one, that assesses DLSS settings without reference to sniping range is just not worth watching. But TLDR if you use DLSS at all, make it the highest quality or else anyone over 50m is going to be cloudy
This game's fps is extremely bad for users who use a Ryzen 5000 3000 with RTX 2000 3000 in comp mode, everything on low 1080p. People using Ryzen X3D and Intel with RTX 4000 have twice the performance
i got a 3070 Ti w/ R5 5600. havent had many issues as of recently but i just started playing again since the last beta.
I'm rocking 11 gen i5 and rx 6600 no issue so far .
Rx 6700 xt and ryzen 5600x runs smoothly at constantly above 160 fps on medium settings
@@quadratic5392on 1080p?
Digital foundry sleeping on this
nah i think my gpu is useless i set to UP and my FPS wont go above 70-80... 2060super...
Why not just increase gamma instead of using RTX? Just change it in nvidia control panel. Annoying that there's no in-game setting.
Gamma makes everything brighter and gray-ish, not only dark spots
@@SkinnySteve ok I'll take that over lower fps if I can still see everything anyways
fov max
How do you disable this resolution scaling shit
?
Just max it and still have over 130 fps, if not get a Pc instead of a Toaster
just skip this video, they don't even mention input latency at all 😂😂😂its amazing to me why this video is prioritizing better looking graphics over higher responsiveness. YALL are the noobs as my soloQ teammates buying the 20$ pink pajama skins and having the worst aim in the world and the cherry on top is you have supersampling enabled so your game is super blurry and honestly youre probably so new to gaming you dont even notice the ghosting or worse latency at all 😂
People who drop the graphics to legit potato settings for competitive advantages are s joke 😊
so, every eSports pro ever is a joke?
and you best rank in any fps was top 50% player :)
Great job man, very specific test🫡
