in case someone needs a benchmark.
here's my personal experience :
60 hours in total from 14 days login. finished almost everyday's daily contracts, always finished weekly contracts (twice).
210 matches, character lvl 22 (40 is maxed), battlepass lvl 64 (96 is maxed) and reached gold rank.
also almost unlocked all gadgets (need 2600 more VRs).
in short : it's easy to progress on this game.

I'm at 286 matches and level 35 with maxed battlepass and everything unlocked
No way this is benchmarked I finished the bp and am 37 career level. And I had all gadgets unlocked in like 6 hrs playing

@@taephillips3276 when u checked your profile, it does shows u hours gameplay, but it was reset few days ago, I'm written at 17 hours, even a max level 40 dude was showed at 4 hours only, but my steam said 60 hours, which is correct.

@@Nothsa0121in marvel snap you have 4 types of conquest games, from battlegrounds to silver, gold, infinity, infinity being the hardest. Turns out that grinding the easyest one, but doing it fast gives you more points than griding the hardest tier. So shut up if you do not understand how math works.

PSA: His advice is completely wrong. VR distribution is based only on the length of the match, meaning no matter what mode you play, how many kills you get, whether you win or not, etc, your VR/hour would be about the same. Taking his advice and trying to win quickly would actually make your rate slightly slower because you'd be wasting more time in the lobby. Not to mention it's not actually a viable recommendation for 99% of people, and there's no way he doesn't know that. His solution is literally "Just win quicker lol." Anyone that can hear that and actually change their results would not be watching this beginner's advice video.

i think doing quick cash is just as good since the vr gain is dependant on how long the match lasts, sometimes in quick cash you can win by gettin gth efirst 2 vaults and the game will only give you something around 100 vr, but you can not win the game but if there have been 3 or 4 cashouts you can sometimes get upward of 150 vr
From my experience vr is mainly influenced by the time you stay alive in (I have been playing quick cash tho so the system might be different) i once got 190 vrs
You get 10 vr for every 1 minute you play a Match doesnt matter if you lose or win

I’m around 40 or where the guitar is, seems much better than the beta, I couldn’t finish that unfortunately, had like 5 levels left. I had more free time during the holidays but I think I can complete it with a bit of time to spare. That said I’m also grinding other games but glitched those, so it might be tougher next season. At least for me

Thank god this has been heavily buffed now too. Weekly missions give 4.5k XP, and the bonus now gives 9k xp. And you only need to do 2/4/6 missions for each bonus
I completed S1 Battle Pass with 50 hours playtime. I played on xbox, solo - quick cash. I always complete all weekly missions (never missed one), all daily missions (I think I missed 2-3 days due to my vacation). I play daily, and mostly I play medium. I usually finish all daily missions in 2-3 games.

I have 80 hours and Im nearly finished it. Their battlepass is super forgiving cuz you can take off a few days and still level up fast. I played since it first came out but I cant play that much to already complete it lol
I'm surprised they haven't added a team death match. I understand they want people to keep testing the primary game mode, but man I can't imagine it would be a hard thing to code in.
I have a feeling this game will grow and improve with time. Unlike Blizzard games.
tdm would need to be rebalanced since any team without recon util would be guaranteed a loss. Invis would be considerably more busted too.

i got two teammates who were running gas mines and healing each other in the back of the map, guessing they were farming xp
Play tournament typically ranked and placing high levels you up extremely fast.
only took me 55 hrs, played mostly ranked. Hope this helps!
Took me about 83HRS Solo Q 100% of times & ranked tournament about 95% percent of the time to reach lvl 97 in the battle pass ( while doing every single challenge ofc)
It's quite the contrary for me ! I only care about grinding career exp not the battlepass. The coolest cosmetics for me are the very last tiers of the career rewards.
There a way to see what you get with the career tier rewards?
only way I've figured out how to see it is by going through the different cosmetic tabs and clicking on various items, which shows how they can be acquired, some of which will be by reaching certain career levels. @@warx23

Reached level 40 at about 120 hours in game (counting menu and queue times). A total of close to 600 games played. I usually play about 60% with friends and 40% solo.

Vr gain is literally only dependant on the time, 1 minute = 10 vr. So no, quick cash is worse in this case unless you can team up with the other teams to just have fun and not cash in.
Unlocked everything but my battle pass isn’t even max yet
Doing the contract and keeping up with them felt more like a home then fun so I stopped doing them

i do not know if you have covered this as i just found your videos, but buying the battlepass directly is not a good idea ( let me finish ). The starter pack is the same price and gives you the same exact amount of cash to buy the battlepass so you can get a few extra gun skins plus the battlepass while spending the exact same amount of money as the battlepass.
you can also buy it when you finish the battle pass
i have 93 hours played and have had the battlepass maxed since like last week. i dont know i was getting 5-10k xp a match pretty often from doing all the challenges. and then literally just playing matches i maxed it out. and i used all the coins you gain from the battle pass to get levels for the battle pass.

What is "Detect 5 opponents" and the "XP Boost" Daily contracts? Can someone please help me?
Xp boost is 1 win or I think 3 matches per day, Detect is using any recon like sonar grenade or recon senses to see opponents through walls

Those vrs are random ? Had a really good match we won got like 90 got a decent match 10 kills and third place but 190 vrs . Play obj for more xp i think dont really care bc i got 2 more months to finish the season pass.
you gain vr based on the time the game lasts. So 10 vr every minute

I cant enjoy the game with 70 fps, I cant belive my 3080TI and R7 5800x3d cant handle this game on low graphics
I have a 3070ti and R7 5700x all low graphics as well and constantly getting 80-100 fps
why the fuck do i get more vr when losing? I'm playing with a friend and when we win we get 80 or 90 vr but there have been many times where we lose and get 120-190 vr (sometimes it looks like the worse we do the more we get). the fuck?
It based on how long the game lasts for. You get 10vr every minute your game lasts
I'm pretty sure the VR part of this video is just not true. Idk why you're saying Bank It gives at least 80 even when you lose. It has nothing to do with whether you win or lose. Just play the mode you enjoy, personally I would only play Bank It if I feel like farming kills with sword on light (never happens but unfortunately 1500 melee damage is a contract every fucking day so)
Based on my anecdotal (admittedly non-scientific) observations, how much VR you get is determined completely by how long you participated in the game. I primarily play quick cash: when all three teams get 10,000 and it goes down to the wire, it gives 170-180 VR, but when one team dominates and the other teams don't score it's usually 100-110. I've been put in a nearly finished game, my team was up 10k and I only had to help defend the second cashout: that one only gave me 30 VR. If you want to farm vr quickly just do anything but Tournament (it doesn't give any extra but does have extra downtime between matches)

200hrs? Yeah...get good I guess. I'm only 70 hours in and am at level 63. I just get on do the dailies and weeklies, and that's all. I can't believe this video needed to be made. Sometimes, you can get all the dailies done in 1 or 2 games.
Also, what's the rush? Just enjoy the game. It's actually good. Who cares about cosmetics?

It kinda blows my mind how little XP simply playing the game gives you. Loose horribly I get like 1000 XP. Kick ass and win with cash outs and get like maybe 1600 🙄 Seems wrong and demotivating. I guess forced to try tournaments.
