Tunkhannock creek! I'd love to see you hit that. Also little rocky glen. It spills into Tunkhannock creek. Great video man. Love to get up there and try my own luck soon.
I was at Bowman creek believe it or not this morning. I found nothing but did find black sand. Also metal detected a few hours all at the road side rest area. Found 14 cents
@@jeremylee8844 I was up and down both creeks.. Only got a few specks.. I seem to do a little better on Susq. River just south of the town of Wilkes Barre
I've done alot of digging around Greenville. Most of the gold I've found was in creeks on top of the gray clay layer that acts like a false bed rock. Never had to dig super deep to find it. Good Luck!
Get ahold of me if you ever come to the loyalsock creek! It runs through the endless mountains in Sullivan and Lycoming county. I can send pictures of some public spots that are secluded
I'm from the williamsport area. Where would be the best place/creek to find gold? I'm new to this and never panned for gold. I have everything I need shipped and sitting at my house for when I get home in a week. I live right along the muncy creek, is there any gold in that creek?
Definitely has a lot of material, but you’ll notice 90% is overburdened. The reason the stuff around the corner is good, is because heavy stuff will drop off but the lighter stuff will still flow forward
To avoid problems, simply stay off private property without permission. That’s really the only big thing. Pa doesn’t allow gas engines (aka dredging) but get permission on private land and your golden. State parks but don’t destroy the place
I LIVE IN PA.. CANT WAIT FOR THIS SPRING.... WE NEED TO GET A GROOP GOING ...

I’m familiar with the area, it’s gorgeous out there! I’d do a video for the scenery alone! Your not far from New Albany which has 2 gold mines
@@pennsylvaniagoldhunter I had no idea! I’ll have to do some research now

Hey brother! How you doin
Doing good! Glad to be back out on the creeks!
The large slab that was across from the spot you were working looked to have a nice deposit area just behind it ?

Soon, been an unusually stretched thin year, but things are winding down
Really cool stuff! How does a guy get started and not get arrested or cited for prospecting illegally in PA? Where are the regs?

@@pennsylvaniagoldhunter Hey thanks. Ok...I'm reading on Google that PA doesn't allow prospecting on public lands...is this true?
@@Steve-sv3lnI think there’s different rules for hobbyists. It’s not like you’re bringing machinery or changing the landscape
Any gold in Wayne County?
Try the Delaware?
