  • Brought my GoPro to explore another floating dock in my area. This was filmed in the middle of April, and the visibility of the water had gone down drastically, almost overnight. Still, got some decent footage I thought was worth sharing.
Lots of anemones on the walls of this floating dock, and a bunch of small coalfish are gathring around the docks.
Also checking in on the sea spider aquarium in the last part of the video.
    Hope you'll find this interesting!

I like the dock exploring videos. Please keep including them occasionally.
The sea spider tank looks great.
The water near the dock is cloudy, but clear enough to see a lot of sea life. All those coalfish make me hungry.
Catch them, gut them, bake them with onions, tomatoes and spices for 4 hours until the bones are soft.... I'm gonna go eat something.

Thank you! Glad to hear that! :) I'll probably go back to this dock again during winter to see how big the difference is. I just bought a underwater drone, so there will be some more underwater footage coming eventually! Hehe, Now I got hungry too....

Wow! What amazing life in your docks, I guess the cooler water helps. I would not worry about the clarity, that water is crystal clear compared with the plankton soup we have at present. Absolutely wonderful footage Simon. How tall are the largest Plumose would you say?

Thanks mate! Yeah, this place is really packed with life! Hehe, pretty bad, eh? Hmm, difficult to say, but I'm guessing the bigger ones are about 30cm in all directions?!

Oh my, I love to eat Pollack and Coalfish, they are also beautiful looking fish. Those anemones are just full size what a fantastic sight. All the Best.

@@barleyarrish I agree with the pollack. One of my favourite fish. Never really been a fan of coalfish tbh, unless it's straight from the ocean. Thanks! Have a good one!

i tried to do the same but the water was so blurry -_- i will try to upgrate to go pro11 from go pro 7 since it might film better in low light environments

Depends a lot on time of year here at least. I'll probably try another one of these come fall/winter when the water clears up again... Just make sure you have a good computer for editing (unless you're doing it on your phone or something..), as the format on the new go pro's demand a lot of the computer in terms of editing. I actually have to convert the video files to be able to edit them. I can't even play the video files on my current computer, hehe... Had I known, I would have stayed away from go pro...
