If you want to do more Boston songs my top recommendations would be: “ Feelin’ Satisfied” , “A Man I’ll Never Be”: “Something About You”; “Peace of Mind”.
Brad Delp is Boston had one of the best voices ever. That high notes he holds that that fades into the electric guitar was iconic. Steve Perry of Journey had probably the best voice and was known as “The Voice.”
Amazing part is that this is recorded in Tom Schulz basement. He plays all the instruments and had Brad Delp do the vocals. So good that they used all but one of the recordings for the first album. Held the best selling debut album of any genre from 76 to 90. Tom Schulz is an MIT grad.
All the instruments except for drums, sorry to correct you. It is still great! Another detail: there is five years of work behind that song. Each line of each instrument is recorded multiple time and the tracks were mixed together. The guitar effects gear was created by Tom Scholz himself, who is a mechanical engineer from MIT.
That boy, Brad Delp, was hitting the "whistle register" LONG before Ms.Carey was doing it!! Gonna go check out the cover of this, thanks to you. Great vid! Liked and sub'd!
Glad you enjoyed, Ren, that was fun and I did learn from you that *NSYNC broke into this song at their concerts. A nice homage. Always enjoy your reactions. :-)
@@renreactsmore6389 What hurts even more, is that Brad (the lead singer) took his own life. A lot of artists suffer from depression, and emotional problems. Unfortunately Brad was one of them, and he eventually couldn't take life anymore.
@@Lewis9709 yah it breaks my heart about Brad I wish he could’ve gotten the help he really needed cause a lot of people had great things to say about him, even his neighbors loved him and was shocked about his death
This is an original band original music by the original band in one guy roaches in the basement and brought everybody else in in his number one the first time out
BOSTON, "MORE THAN A FEELING" SORRY BUT I LIKE ORIGINAL BANDS FOR THE MOST PART. ANOTHER PROGRESSIVE ROCK BAND THAT INFLUENCED RUSH. THE BAND YES, "ROUNDABOUT "
Yes. Haha I actually just found out they also recorded a studio version. I was only aware of them doing an acapella version during interviews and concerts.
Those hand claps that come in just before the chorus add so much.
One of the greatest rock songs of all time.
Hey Ren, you gotta do the rest of album! one of the greatest debut album ever! do foreplay/longtime, wont be disappointed
"More Than A Feeling" from BOSTON is a classic rock anthem that will never get old!!! It is a vibe & it is pure FIRE!!!

Thanks! I'm also glad you enjoyed that info. I figured that would be news to fans of Boston.
Brad Delp was an incredible singer. Sad end to his life, but he left a remarkable legacy.
Oh no! I hate hearing this about band's that I'm starting to explore. I had no idea the singer passed away. He has a great voice!

More Boston?
Foreplay/Long Time
Yeah, I wouldn't mind reacting to some more Boston. I enjoyed this song and Foreplay/Long Time sounds interesting just going by the title alone. haha
N'sync covered this?! Gross!
Yes. Haha I actually just found out they also recorded a studio version. I was only aware of them doing an acapella version during interviews and concerts.
The worse review I've ever heard . ..word.
