Of all their beautiful sounding albums, THIRD STAGE is my favorite. Every song puts you in a beautiful place with the most amazing vocals and instrumentals.
Seems like it must just you and me, dude, I've gotten into heated arguments with people on where Third Stage belongs in their catalog, I think it comes down to my own nostalgia.
This is what happens when a MIT Engineer creates an album all by himself in his basement...literally. And yes, the spaceships are upside-down guitars.
Boston was definitely not a one hit wonder. This whole album is amazing.
I think my Boston fav is "Peace of Mind" It's for all us genius slackers out here, lol

I'm a 55 year old guy from Boston and I've got tears in my eyes watching you're reaction to this song knowing about what you've gone through with the recent passing of your Mom. Thank you for your beautiful smile and thank you for reacting to the music of my youth. Please react to the Boston song "Something About You". This might sound weird but I almost feel guilty because I'm 55 and both of my parents are still alive while a young woman like you has lost her Mom already. It doesn't seem fair.
I'm 56 and this was my first album. I bought it with my first record player. How lucky did I get!

Emily, "More Than A Feeling" was on Boston's debut album, which is a classic. Every cut is outstanding. I highly recommend checking out more Boston.

Great song and this album is killer. All the songs on their first album was played on the radio at one time or another. One of the best selling debut albums of all time.

I'm 54 years old and I'm pretty sure if there was a video of me listening to this for the first time, I looked just like you. That was awesome. First time I heard this was at my cousin's house in 1976. I was 9 years old.
I think if the younger generations start listening to older music, they might be a happier and more understanding people!!!
Keep going Emily... 60 and 70 s it seems that it would be easier to list the few bands that weren't great .. I can remember Albums that had 4 or 5 hits.. and weren't Best of or Greatest Hits Albums.. Golden Era of Music 1960-1980.

This was one of my first albums as a kid, I bought it with my first record player in the 4th grade.
There's at least 5 rock anthems on rhis album! Maybe do Foreplay / Long Time next. But take your pick. Love your song choices!

Not a one-hit wonder. They had plenty. This whole album was HOT back in its day. Most of the tracks saw a lot of air time on the radio. Their very best release, IMHO!
