This might sound weird but I almost feel guilty because I'm 55 and both of my parents are still alive while a young woman like you has lost her Mom already. It doesn't seem fair.
Of all their beautiful sounding albums, THIRD STAGE is my favorite. Every song puts you in a beautiful place with the most amazing vocals and instrumentals.
Seems like it must just you and me, dude, I've gotten into heated arguments with people on where Third Stage belongs in their catalog, I think it comes down to my own nostalgia.

You know, I've never heard anyone say a bad word about this song. It invites you in with a big friendly smile, and it's glorious. Brad Delp was the lead singer. Amazing voice. Sadly, he suffered from depression, and eventually he took his own life. Such a loss. Another thing: everyone who knew him said he was a great person: friendly, kind, gentle, down to earth, a regular guy and a great neighbor (for example, he helped people mow their lawns). When he died, the band's website said "We just lost the nicest guy in rock and roll."
Keep going Emily... 60 and 70 s it seems that it would be easier to list the few bands that weren't great .. I can remember Albums that had 4 or 5 hits.. and weren't Best of or Greatest Hits Albums.. Golden Era of Music 1960-1980.

This was one of my first albums as a kid, I bought it with my first record player in the 4th grade. There's at least 5 rock anthems on rhis album! Maybe do Foreplay / Long Time next. But take your pick. Love your song choices!
Not a one-hit wonder. They had plenty. This whole album was HOT back in its day. Most of the tracks saw a lot of air time on the radio. Their very best release, IMHO!
