Great episode. I have been following this channel for some time now. The quality of the episodes, video camera skills and the idea of around the world food in one country really stands out when compared to other channels in TH-cam. This is the best in my opinion. Wish you guys all the success.
That standing only idea is brilliant. Because apparently these days restaurants struggle with people ordering a small meal and then hanging around for hours sitting on their phones without leaving. I fully support this initiative!
This is a huge issue in cafes too! Maybe we will see more of this in the future. Thanks for tuning in Wes! Hope you're enjoying your trip around the island.
@@LukeMartin I hope we don't see more of this in the future. Disappointing you joked that it was great you'd have to leave when you couldn't stand any longer, but made no comment on how that would affect those with disabilities.
@@secretdiaryofafoodie then dont go there if you have a disability. problem solved. places like that are obvious NOT meant for people who cant stand. wtf
Good Morning from S. Utah, I always love my Sunday mornings when I get to spend some time with you kids out trying out all this new food from around the world. You kids have an amazing channel, Keep on keepin' on. Take care & God Bless
can I just say your editing and filming the locations is exquisite 👌 other travel channels can get very dizzying and hectic but you guys capture the essence of the location very well and feels so cinematic. great video!!
I just found this channel. Love this kind of content, lots of food and travel. Also, thanks for being thoughtful to put how much you guys are spending on food that you try. New subscriber from Philippines 💕
Awesome video guys! Never seen pineapple soju but I have an unopened bottle of cherry soju I bought in Taipei in 7/11 in January still to try. I like the original kind but it is strong lol
We were expecting only Korean food and drinks. But the Taiwanese K-Pop band thing was like a bonus. I am not into K-Pop but still enjoyed it. Keep up the good work and thank you for this mini Korean trip :)
Awesome video as always! Just wondering if you guys would ever do a video on what you guys would cook in a day when you're not filming? Do you have go to dishes? It would be cool see you pick out your ingredients at the markets and cook them!
I remembered when i subscribed to your channel when you guys had 20 thousand subscribers now you guys are almost at a million congrats. I love watching your channel you guys make me proud as a fellow Canadian. May you have many more subscribers. :)
Wow the K Pop dancers were pretty awesome and lol yep those outfits were a little shirt 😂😂. The food is where it’s at though, the kimbap and cliche rice cakes look so delicious
There's a korean fried chicken place called bb.q chicken in a building right outside Nanjing Fuxing station!! I've never been but it looks amazing and I'm also pretty sure it's the same fried chicken chain that was in the kdramas Crash Landing on You and Goblin. From what I've heard, it's one of the biggest chains in Korea, so you should definitely check it out.
Loving your content and as someone who views it on a 65" screen i appreciate the 4k footage your capture. It really feels like we are right there with you. 🍺
Luke...I admire your commitment to your viewers and make the most of the Covid. Keep it going! Having been a hospitality executive for 35 years, I think your base knowledge of food is strong and your palette is refined...you do have a talent. Please see vlogs of KaraandNate to learn how to finance your vlogs. Your food taste is better than theirs but Nate is a genius in planning and financing. Every vlog and activity is financed by vendors with TH-cam plugs. When they started their creative financing, their channel blew up and got an award from TH-cam and are invited to be guest speakers. Your palette is better...so go for it. Advise to you...drop second channel of Luke and Sabrina...too confusing to your viewers and future sponsors, dilutes your channel and only appeases someone’s ego.
No for me with the standing BB, I like to get myself comfy lol. If it's about the turnover rate, some restaurants in Taiwan actually limit 1.5~2 hr for dine-in and I am totally cool with it. So let me sit and eat my BBQ lol~
That was great guys . It really felt like you were in Korea . It cracked me up when Luke refused to go see the k plop thing . I don't blame him , it made me a little nauseous , lol .
13:33 小寶泡菜醬料雞排 at 逢甲夜市 in Taichung is definitely the best fried chicken that I have eaten in Taiwan. But when would you like to return to Taiwan to film the next episode for Taiwan 🙏🧡😭
Good morning kids......I can only say it was another super video....excellent food selection ....I’m not a fan of spicey food and so that chicken looked good but I would choose the mild version....good to see both of you are doing well it was a excellent visit ...see you next time Stay safe
New to the channel great content. A question for you both have either of you ever had food poisoning from eating at these out door places, And is it something you ever worry about. Stay safe.
The kimchi, spicy rice cake with cheese and the BBQ look yummy. I have never taste Gimbap , but look very similar to sushi (but bigger) and look delicious too. 😀
Best fried chicken in the world, IMHO, is Japanese karaage. So much flavor, so much crunch! Now, granted, the only way I've tried any but the US version of KFC is by following video recipes at home, but assuming the ones I've tried are authentic, karaage is by far my favorite. That said, I was cracking up at Luke's 'old fart' assessment of the kpop fashion.
Please visit ya guys, hopefully my place can inspire ideas that can be useful and be a blessing for everyone Silahkan berkunjung ya guys semoga ditempat saya bs memberikan inspirasi ide yg bs bermanfaat dan menjadi berkah buat semua orang
Love your videos! This video is a bit old so not sure if you’ll see this, but I was wondering about the standing only restaurant. Do they make exceptions for people with disabilities? Personally I have some major nerve problems in one of my legs, so I can walk all day, but I can’t stand still for more than a minute or so. Would they are or would I just skip this place? I love Taiwan!

Korean fried chicken + beer is a great combo!
Next time try mixing glass of beer + soju shot, Luke & Sabrina - so good 😍 We learnt from Korean movies/dramas & tried it, love it😁

Thank you too!
And Korean BBQ with soju an even better combo!
That last place looks fun. It's like a Tapas bar in Spain. Drinks and eating while standing.
Yeah it has that same energy!
Every time I'm in Taiwan I go to hot star. Best fried chicken period

So cool that you can show us the variety of foods to try all in one city. Awesome for someone that can only have time or funds to visit one city.♥️
Awesome video guys! Never seen pineapple soju but I have an unopened bottle of cherry soju I bought in Taipei in 7/11 in January still to try. I like the original kind but it is strong lol
Cherry is a flavour we've never come across. Let us know how it is once you try it!
Luke Martin I will! I think you can get it in Carre Four too in Taipei. I also found peanut makkoli there which was pretty tasty.
Yeah, Luke Martin is the man! Yeah!
Thank you guys for making and sharing these masterpieces during a weird time in the world🙏🙏
Thanks for your support!!
Nice video Luke. Loved the food, Places shown in the video. Loved them all. Thanks for this video Luke & Sabrina.

Great food, i like the barbecue but that sauce was too much on that chicken. Thank you Luke & Sabrina
A little over the top on the sauce I agree
The kimchi, spicy rice cake with cheese and the BBQ look yummy. I have never taste Gimbap , but look very similar to sushi (but bigger) and look delicious too. 😀
Gimbap may be visually similar, but it doesn't use vinegar seasoned rice like sushi. Also, the Gimbap ingredients are typically cooked and not raw.
Thank you for watching Judy! Whenever you get the chance, give gimbal a try! You can find different varieties and also sizes!
Excellent!! Yay!!
aw yess another lovely video!

Damn bro! How do you stay fit with eating all that food.
Likely fast metabolism, and a bit of working out.
They are young and they sweat a lot living in a hot, humid climate by walking and filming all day.

During the pandemic, but there are only 400ish verified cases in Taiwan, so it should be one of the safest places in the world right now
Great food good. Also love Korean food on this end🍲
