- Another run with the new Arrma Typhon 6s V4. This buggy never ceases to amaze me at the durability and overall balance in the air! It has a couple more upgrades and switched to the Tactic radio. I attempted to beat my personal best of 105ft with the Kraton and she hit the 117ft mark. TOTAL BEAST!! No breaks just a slightly twisted chassis. :) Thanks for watching!

@@SvenTSchixe I'm not totally sure, but my guess is pretty dang far with the right run up and ramp😜. It boils down to speed, ramp angle/curve, and a good rig setup too of course. Planning to build a spot specific mega launch soon if all goes well. I really enjoy wood working myself 😊😎💪👊👊

Funny you should mention wood working as I have always liked that myself, tinkering with all the tools and what not.
While I have the chance to ask you, I just recently got a Notorious and blew a centre diff cup, I did not check it from new to see if it was full (this was my first 6s, beginner mistake), I checked everything now when brand new.
For general bashing what would you usually run in the diffs of a truck like that for oil?

@@SvenTSchixe yeah wood working is very rewarding 👌. I generally run 50/100/20k front to rear in my Outcast and Truggified Typhon. Currently trying 200k center though. Was running 500k center during M2C chassis testing (mostly with smaller Badlands 3.8s) but I found it to wheelie more than I like powering out of turns. Hope that helps 👊. It kinda depends on preference. Just have to experiment. Wheel size can make a big impact in your final selection. 🤘🤘

I just got mine in this week, "Tank" is exactly what I called her lol.... Thing is a beast!!
Hahaa, I swapped out the radio before even using her, hooked her up to my radiolink RC4GS that I use for my Rustler 2WD speed run car.
I also changed the servo out & put a 20kg/cm servo that I had kicking around in her because I still had some issues, I found it weak & wouldn't re-center correctly, it didn't seem to have the power to pull back fully to center. I did notice that not only is it a 15kg/cm servo, but it's only 15kg/cm if it's running @ 7.2V. The BEC on the ESC is only 6V. So it's definitely running at less than the 15kg/cm they advertise it as. Other than that, just had to do minor suspension adjustments that are expected of any car. But I love it!! Did a stock speed run test with the stock out of the box gearing & got 50mph on 6S. So yeah, it will most likely hit 70mph with the provided 20T pinion lol.

Thanks so much!! Yeah the Spektrum had to go!!🤣I'm running stock shock oils. The whole buggy has a lot of stock parts on it except chassis braces, upper mount and diff oils. My ramps are custom made using 4 ramps mounted together. I got them from discountramps.com back when they sold them...getting ideas for another ramp now🤔..🤣Thanks for watching bro!😎💪👊👊✌✌🍻

Serioulsy, thinking of getting one of these, after seeing how tough armma is compared to traxxas makes me want to trade in my rustler 4x4 vxl and rustler vxl, and get a typhon 6s as well as a infraction, and use the typhon for dirt as well as sending it into the air, while using the infraction for speed runs.
That would be a PERFECT combo. They would pair nicely👌Both killer rigs!😎👊

I gotta learn that tumble trick you do, my Kraton is always landing on its top. My timing on the throttle to spin it right before it flips needs work. That or my suspension is too high

I've been playing with my V3 so much more lately and driving it more than I thought I would. It's fast, new dtrax six packs strapped and vented. 20t pinion from my Talion kit.
It's hot in South Louisiana but I only give it one 5400 6s pack and let her rest while I run something else.
Love the ramps setup and hope you can enlighten me on how to jack it up some and keep it strong and portable.

He replied to me on this once. he takes 2 (12") kicker discount ramps i think the model is like sk-900 and below are 2 regular ramps with no kick to them. I am on the mission to get this setup too. I just ordered a 2 pack of the kicker discount ramps from amazon but they just reversed the money so I don.t know if I am getting them.

Well you just cut off the jumper plug and wires so you have just two leads coming from the ESC then solder on your plug of choice. Making sure to get the positive and negative right. I wish I had a better way of explaining...hope that helped!😁👊🤘🤘

Yup. I didn't adjust the end points on my brand new V3 Typhon 6s and I stripped the servo on its first run. Dumb dumb. Luckily Arrma warrantied it so I'm up an running again.
