- Due to bad weather the past couple of weeks I've had lots of wrenching time. Decided to create this beast from spare parts! Outcast/Typhon hybrid 6s. Running the Hobbystar 1730kv 4092 and Max8, She's quite the handful with a 20 tooth pinion. A little tricky to control in SWB but all out pleasure to drive! Just glad to get out and get in a quick bash!! Thanks for watching!

The Hybrid is back 😱😍😍!!!! Friggin AWESOME brother Eric 😜!!! She's looks like an animal with the 1730 setup 👀. Guess you can say the bad weather served a righteous purpose this go around 👍. Nothing like building a Beast from the ground up Bro. Killer bash my friend 🤙🤙. The plastic ramps still make for Epic sends too. My ramp needs more minor maintenance from Big Girl too. Nothing major, just had a couple screws get torqued...etc. Looked like she took that roof lander no problem 😱. Just lost my motor midair with the Truggified 🤣🤣. The HS motor is a beast in this Outcast! With 500k center and 20 tooth, it's a little monster!💪Kinda felt like a classic too running mainly Voltage upgrades! The chassis was the 3mm M2C. Had to straighten her out a bit from the massive crash it had a while back off the MEGA ramp extension!😂😂Crazy the number the 8s big girls do on the wood ramps!😱A lot of stress goes into the wood when 29lbs hit it a 50+mph!😜Still not as bad as Ed's!😆Sucks on your motor bro! I’m not familiar with Arrma rigs. Is the Typhon and the Outcast and Kraton the same basic cars, just buggy vs Truggy? Or are they completely different? Use to bash an ECX Rukus, looking for something stronger and with more upgrades.

Hello dude, hope your well.. man that has some power but smooth power by the looks of it, the foot landing was definitely rough lol, the stairs back flip was cool..
My typhon 6s the stock rims rub the hubs and have even made pretty deep groove marks on the inside of the rims, do you think I should chance the stock wheels and tires for the proline Pre-Mounted Badlands MX ones, or would I still see the same thing?
Also mate i have a challenge for you if your up for it, how about doing a jump starting off with a front flip then going into a back flip, use the model of your choice.😃

I've actually been thinking about doing this but with Talion arms, towers and shocks. I have a couple sets of those.
Yeah that would work too and probably be more nimble bc of the Talion towers and shocks. I built that too long ago. Cool having a monster buggy!😁🤘🤘
@@RCDUDE81 oh I know I've built a bunch of crazy things my favorite offroad build is my Felony. I cut up the shell some took of the rear diffuser, front splitter. Then talion towers, shocks, super basher front bumper on the main part of the splitter deal, Mojave rear bumper, changed diff gearing then ran sweeps terrain crushers.

How much better is that new M2c bracket system than just doing some voltage hobbies (or comparable) pin holders and some upgraded pins? If at all?

Thanks so much bro!👊No this truck has all Voltage besides the M2C chassis. The difference in M2C sus. Mounts and others is his has the 4 corner locking design that bolt everything together tight and transfers the energy around to keep from busting diffcases at the bottom. Plus the delrin inserts make for smooth shock action and can be replaced as they wear out. Nothing against Voltage I love his work! Too bad he's pretty much out of the game at this point. How do you like that motor want something different then the hobbywing 4985 1650kv that came with the Max6 you think because of the slightly higher KV it would be quicker or not because it's a smaller can
Its a beast motor for sure!👀It is a bit smaller in diameter can that the 4985 but definitely needs correct gearing to keep it cool!

Hey Rcdude81, what screws do you use to hold the motor to the mount, are these a consistent choice, especially when they decide to land wheels up🤔😎🏁 strong bashing here, do you need to change anything to bash with 2.8 wheels set, thank you Rcdude81
I just use stock screws just cleaned with brake cleaner and red threadlock. If running a long can, I use a piece of hard rubber or something to support the rear end bell. No mods for 2.8's really. I'm running 3.8 regular Badlands in this vid.😎👊🤟🤟

Amazing it didn't break. I been in the hobby for over 20 years. Never seen an rc car take so much and keep going. What electric rc do u recommend like that off-road that out of box or with upgrades can go like that and take a beating?
Yeah most of my rc's are heavily upgraded and modified! The stock Arrma rigs are probably the toughest RTR's out of the box but will more than likely not withstand long term hard bashing without a few key upgrades! Most of my rigs are beefed up with M2C racing upgrades. Chassis, towers, braces etc. Plus a little diff setup and shimming. Any of the off road rigs from the Arrma line are near bulletproof once beefed up! Thanks for watching!😎👊

Well this is basically an Outcast 6s with a Typhon body. Mega buggy style😜If you wanted to convert a Typhon to this, you would need a lot of parts. Towers, shocks, arms, driveshafts, links etc. What are you wanting to make exactly?

Did you have to do anything to get the 4092 to fit in the shorter chassis? I'm trying to figure out a good motor to put in my outcast with the max6 esc I'm running. The blx2050kv just isn't enough torque for the grassy areas I run in and tends to run hot. Even with a 13T pinion and dual fans, it still runs on the hot side after about 10 minutes. I didn't think there was room to fit a 4092 in it, so I was looking at 4084/4082 motors even though I know the 4092 is one of the "go to" motors for the kraton. I even put the stock tires on it today hoping that would drop the load on the motor, still ran pretty warm with 80F temps outside.
The 4092 had no issues with fitment. I just made sure to anchor a piece of hard rubber under the end bell for support.👌It is a beastly motor for a SWB!

why is it that when I try to do a standing backflip, or just simply try to gun it quickly from a still position my Arrma Kraton v4 just clicks. I don’t know if it’s skipping teeth or what. But I checked on my differentials and nothing is broken. What’s going on?

Also my T-bone racing"bumper" came finally, I kind off almost fell over when I realised it's a bit of acrylic! Definitely not waiting multiple months for another one of those to be made & then shipped to Australia. I'll just make some myself when this 1 breaks, definitely feel like a paid way to much for a stinking bit of acrylic haha

I have a couple bench vids though going over upgrades and M2C parts etc. Personally, I think the T-bone bumpers work great! Only had 2 fail me in the past couple of years but at least they do replace them if you break them! What bumper did you get?
I believe the t bone stuff is made out of kydex. It can be formed with heat into just about anything. I've made lots of bumpers and stone guards and the only plastic that does not shatter is kydex. Acrylic is too brittle and will shatter.

All I do in most of my trucks is add one extra external shim against the outer bearing front and rear to mesh the ring/pinion tighter. really helps from stripping the gears under hard throttle and landings!👌This rig is running 50k front/500k center and 30k rear diff fluids. 😎🤘👊👊

I got the stock blx system what gearing should I run for sum speed but no over heating off road ? Running 6s
In the Outcast? Stock tires? With a stock setup, I've found a 16 tooth to be a good median for speed without overheating. I run a 18 most of the time in my other Outcast running 3.8 Badlands but they are a bit smaller in diameter than the Backflips.😎👊

Dont put ziplock battery connectors if you do so after hard landings wires will be ripped off of motor or esc.
How does it land on his wheels after a jump?
Throttle control. Gas to bring the nose up and brake to lower the nose. Flips are done with throttle blips. Takes practice for sure but a lot of fun!😎👊
