We like ASROCK Pro4 but any Gigabyte, ASROCK work well, you don't need to go too expensive if you are not overclocking the CPU. Memory overclocking with AMD is standard on all except the lowest class of chipsets for motherboards. We've found running memory at its listed speed (e.g. 3200) rather than at a chip's bus speed can be more stable (so use XMP overclocked profiles on RAM if your RAM is faster than the chip bus).
Sorry most modern designs dont have DVD Drives so the cases are not designed that way. That allows more space inside for cooling. You can always get an external DVD which connects via USB or switch to a older designed case which are available with drive bays.
