They did increase the price from 120 to 150 when they came in stock a couple of weeks ago. I got one (at 150) but unfortunately it still didn't come with a piece.
If interested I'm printing one now, I have black, hmu. Can probably send one for about $15 they take about 12hours but I'm trying to tune it to be faster.
@@EmoEmu with screws, and bits for me the whole thing is 169, I even have a 3d printer, but I'd pay 200$ for everything included. maybe some microfiber gloves and a roll of suitable tape.
@G0ldmoon Exactly. I don't have a 3d printer, and the effort of having to get someone to make the box and then assemble it all would exceed just paying more for a completed product.
For the price, this should definitely be more flushed out and not as janky. A simple plastic enclosure going the full length of the screen would be super cheap to outsource. Basically the 3d printed "upper" you already have? Just extend it all the way to the base to include the plastic spacer you had to tape on, and another two holes for the bottom screws, slimline profile down the entire length of the back so the ribbon cable is held inside. Would just like like a smooth black surface from the sides. Hell you could probably run an ARGB stripe down the back that runs off the same control board and power source for bias lighting synced with whatever is on-screen.
i agree, it looks like a beta product, because consumers needs to find a 3d printer to print the enclosure and also use TAPE to keep things secure lol. more like a homemade kind of product at this stage.
Hyte REALLY needs to refine this to be an all-inclusive product. Having a mount included with the control box, SATA (or something else) instead of Molex etc so there's less DIY required and more plug-and-play. I would definitely be a customer of the V2 version with the required adjustments.
my asus tuf 4090 fits with more than enough room to breathe. Hogwarts Legacy on Ultra 120hz@4k, LG C2 oled display w/hdr, gsync. No issues. Best case ever made.
Buy a vertical GPU bracket, that way you can shift the GPU back as much as possible to get better airflow. Best one would probably be a EZDIY-Fab’s magnetic bracket with this case so you don’t have to screw anything in and have it exactly where you want it to be.
This is very cool, but wouldn't it be easier for you guys just to include these 3D Printed mount brackets with the DIY LCD Panel Screen as it would make it more off a convivence to the customers? Personally I don't know that many people that just randomly have a 3D Printer sitting around at home, so it would be quite difficult for me to find a sleek 3d printed mounting bracket solution like this.
I love the look of mine; I get a ton of compliments on my LCD screen. I have combined wallpaper engine and AIDA64 for both video and a sensor panel. What a great looking case!
Canadian customers are charged twice the price, not saying it's all Hyte's fault but we have to pay the price and customs to get the product in our hands. At this price it would be nice to have everything included like the 3D printed mount but still a very nice product for all Hyte Y60 owners.
Just got mine last week. I was extra careful. There was nothing at all to mount it so I literally taped it to the glass at the top and bottom. I got everything installed efficiently with the cables mostly out of site. When I turned it on it was immediately apparent that the screen was cracked. Not having a mount made it really difficult to work with. Unfortunately I don’t have a 3d printer. The mount may have saved this screen. Working with Hyte’s support on this. I love the case and am looking forward to getting this installed, in one piece and with a bracket hopefully.

Hyte should supply two more 3D files. First, a box if you bottom install it. Instead of covering the installer with tape. And second, a file for a back cover instead of tape covering it like it was suggested. Other than that I will be getting this as soon as available again.
