Could have ran the HDMI cable out of that cutout on the top, straight down those 3 cable tie hooks on the back, down into the GPU. Would probably look less crazy than the open storage panel being missing. It's likely what they had in mind with the exterior tie hooks and the top cutout.

Or they could of just not cheaped out and built in a converter. That or just use a USB to HDMI adapter and just us a Motherboard header. Technically SATA is also capable of feeding a video signal.
Thanks for showing how to install the screen. I notice that there's routing holes inside the case. I'm not sure how you gonna close that top panel with the cables crossing over like that. Definitely would rout through one of the holes inside the case and out the back. You can also adjust the gaps around the radiator by moving the fans and mounting plate around.

It’ll be really hard to stick the white vinyl to the materials that we use to 3D Print. However, we’ve been thinking about using white PLA material to print the compartment so it’ll come in white. We might even sell it if there’s a demand!
Does it makes sense to connect a hmdi to bluetooth adapter to the controller and a bluetooth card to your mainboard and share the screen? If this is possible you would save the bad looking cables at the back of your case.
That sounds doable but not always necessary since most individuals will orient their PC in a way that the back is not showing. But if you try it let us now how it goes!
would this work if you used the integrated graphics (intel) instead of loosing a monitor from the dedicated gpu? my graphics card only can do 3 monitors but i have 1 extra hdmi on the motherboard.
Wallpaper Engine is cool but a crazy resourse hog. My favorite "rain on street at night" wallpaper causes my 3080 to spin up and yanks up my power draw from 180 to 350 W...
That definitely should not be the case. Make sure your appropriately have the settings in Wallpaper engine to a capped FPS and with proper quality. Shouldn't get anywhere near max load with just a desktop background (speaking as a 3080 and 4090 user)
If those wallpapers act like screensavers and you could have aida or something alike running it could be the best of 2 world, maybe the lcd needs to be a touch screen then or not.
Ended up doing a build very similar to this one, same case(black&white tho) nzxt rgb duo fans, nzxt kraken with the lcd screen 140mm fan radiator, asus motherboard. Corsair vengeance white 32gb ram. Mostly all white/black and a few silver parts. Waiting on this screen upgrade since it’s out of stock…

No clue why they design these display like this, there is absolutely no reason to actually use a display port for the video signal (outside of either being cheap or just rebranding a pre-existing product). All they had to do was add in a converter and it could be patched directly to USB (which can be done directly off a MB header)
We agree that it shouldn't take out another HDMI slot on your GPU just to display the screen panel, hopefully they can come up with a V2 display that does not require external cable managing.
I'm a minimalist on my builds. It's so hard to find non-RGB parts and cases without glass side panels. Just my opinion but I don't want a Christmas tree underneath my desk.🤣 But honestly that is a rig I would be down to build.

So i put a 7 inch mini LCD screen in my pc because i saw it on youtube, looked really cool. but once i got it installed and plugged into the HDMI windows defaults my desktop to the little screen and i cant use my big monitor...cant figure out how to tell windows that my big monitor is my MAIN monitor and the little 7 inch one is #2 it just refuses to work no matter what i try...anyone know what to do here? the only thing ive been able to do is "duplicate screens" which is useless because i need the 7 inch for displaying cpu/gpu temps ect ect. im 6 hrs of effort into it and nothing seems to work
Take that HDMI cable and run it through the opening of the handle to pull off the top panel. There is plenty of space for the HDMI cable to fit through the opening.
@@archetype_origins I completely agree, make it a screwless design. Snap n latch style. That said, despite the great looks for these cases and this particular form factor, the unfortunate reality is they tend to have some of the worst thermals compared to traditional high airflow cases, especially if you have to vertically mount the GPU. Quite frustrating if you like this form factor, but not a deal breaker, yet.
We mainly focus on custom PCs, so we have not worked with an Xbox, but I think it is possible. The best way would probably be to 3D print some mounting mechanism to add the screen to your Xbox. That would be an awesome project to see!

As of now, there isn't any LCD screen that is big enough for the front glass panel of the NZXT H9. Maybe we can try looking for a similar size LCD screen and make a frame for it 🤔
Yes white cables would definitely elevate the look if you place your PC in a position where you can see the back. If your PC is positioned in a corner it shouldn’t be necessary.
The screen makes the case really look nice. Shame it's rather small on the inside, despite the dimensions overall. The NZXT H9 is only 3 cm taller, yet in that you can fit 360's at the top, bottom and side at the same time. In this one you only get 360 at the top and 2 fans on the side (maybe you can mount some underneath the bottom, but if you wanna go rgb you'd probably like them above the bottom panel). Too bad. If I could incorporate the inside space for all these fans that the nzxt h9 or 011 (and that dual chamber design) has with that addable screenpanel, that would the so awesome. As it stands that screenpanel alone doesn't outweigh the downsides for me, so I'll probably go with the 011d when they release it. That live wallpaper looks crazy good nonetheless. If anyone gets this case (or has it) and screen, they can not go for just some static image.
@@archetype_origins Guessing I was holding it for their Y70 case. That is rather nice. Hopefully you can use the touchscreen as you did the LCD in the Y60 build here, to just display a wallpaper. Even though some might view that as criminally underutilizing the touchscreen, I don't see why it shouldn't be possible (should people want to use it in that way). Only downside I can realistically see is that the bottom fans would have to be mounted underneath (not ideal for the rgb enthusiasts) if the GPU is mounted vertically, since it sits on the bottom plate. Unless you can use some vertical mounting solution from other vendors. No case is perfect though. And it is a big improvement in my eyes, and their websites seems to confirm. Since this case offers way lower temps (almost 20°) at lower fan speeds, compared to the Y60.

The FPS difference would not be noticeable without looking at the FPS counter. If you're trying to maximize every single frame per second, you could choose to unplug any additional displays when playing GOD MODE💪💪💪

am very strongly considering this case and like the idea of the lcd. However, I have an AMD 7900xtx with 3 display ports and 1hdmi. I run triple monitors for gaming on the dports and a 4th monitor above for web browsing/tv/media/etc, so I have no available hdmi ports. Am I right in saying that the lcd wont work for me or is there another alternative?
What CPU are you running? If you have a CPU with integrated graphics, you should be able to plug your HDMI cable into your motherboard and get a display from there!
i love this case. thinking of getting it. But i wanta 4080 not 4070ti. Do you think the 4080 is to big for case. Saw videos where it touches the side panel. I want a palit 4080 gaming pro.
Would have been a perfect build, apart from... 1. Why have you routed your GPU power cable like that? Ditch the LED cable and hide it behind the GPU, especially when it's offset to the gap in the M/B tray. 2. The screen BLACK borders all being different sizes (couldn't they centralise the screen or at least make a WHITE template to cover them up?) and wouldn't have looked as noticeable in a black case/build. 3. Without having this case, couldn't you have routed the HDMI cable through the notch at the top of the rear panel? You shouldn't have to remove the hard drive bay.

Love the design, LOVE the case and will probably get myself one in the near future for my new pc build that'll last me some years to come But the LCD in my opinion is totally not worth it. I like the idea but it takes away the beauty of the view as a whole, in short it demolishes why they designed the case

Hi, we taped all the ribbon cable to the back of the LCD screen using electrical tape. Thermal paste is not needed in this LCD screen installation at all. We also linked some of the alternative you can get from Amazon for around the same price, they are the same size screen as the one they sell on HYTE official website.
Not only is the screen massively overpriced they couldn't even have the controller board built into the screen with a thin cable running to a pcie, would have made a lot more sense.

Unfortunately, you are right. The 4090 is just too beefy and the case does not provide enough intake options for cooling down a massive GPU like this

HYTE Y60 comes with the vertical mount. You can only horizontally mount it if you modify the case.

If your CPU has integrated graphics you can plug in straight into your motherboard, otherwise it might be time for some upgrades 😉

Sometimes I wish I went with the Hyte y60 over the Asus TUF GT502. Both have their perks.

the cables don't look good because your whole setup is white. Getting a white hdmi and power cable would make this look a lot cleaner.

The FPS difference would not be noticeable without looking at the FPS counter. If you're trying to maximize every single frame per second, you could choose to unplug any additional displays when playing GOD MODE💪💪💪

am very strongly considering this case and like the idea of the lcd. However, I have an AMD 7900xtx with 3 display ports and 1hdmi. I run triple monitors for gaming on the dports and a 4th monitor above for web browsing/tv/media/etc, so I have no available hdmi ports. Am I right in saying that the lcd wont work for me or is there another alternative?
What CPU are you running? If you have a CPU with integrated graphics, you should be able to plug your HDMI cable into your motherboard and get a display from there!

Would have been a perfect build, apart from...
1. Why have you routed your GPU power cable like that? Ditch the LED cable and hide it behind the GPU, especially when it's offset to the gap in the M/B tray.
2. The screen BLACK borders all being different sizes (couldn't they centralise the screen or at least make a WHITE template to cover them up?) and wouldn't have looked as noticeable in a black case/build.
3. Without having this case, couldn't you have routed the HDMI cable through the notch at the top of the rear panel? You shouldn't have to remove the hard drive bay.

Hi, we taped all the ribbon cable to the back of the LCD screen using electrical tape. Thermal paste is not needed in this LCD screen installation at all. We also linked some of the alternative you can get from Amazon for around the same price, they are the same size screen as the one they sell on HYTE official website.

Not only is the screen massively overpriced they couldn't even have the controller board built into the screen with a thin cable running to a pcie, would have made a lot more sense.

I want't to know if your mouse will move to this screen? In my simple opinion, it went through HDMI, so it could be viewed as an another monitor. Then my mouse won't move there?
Yes. Your PC will see it as an additional monitor and your mouse can move there. You could watch Archetype Origins videos on there or chat with your Discord friends!

Реально подключение исполняется вот так , по колхозному ? На эзоленту и путём подключения к задней панели . Неужели в такой дорогой корпус , нельзя было продумать нормальное подключение экрана . Да и сам экран после всего выглядит не так радужно . Либо по умолчанию его подключать .
