Yeah, I did this 4 years ago and have since completed many of them perfecting it every time completed. This video was from my first prototype build. Completed with various cases. It's honestly not difficult as long as you spend sometime researching the parts required. th-cam.com/video/J4OJI_xOKEc/w-d-xo.html
You're tutorial is the best resource I've found on TH-cam. Thank you for the USB idea and the wiring diagram. I wish you luck on your social media adventure!
Did this with the same Monitor Model and it worked just fine. One Problem i faced was that the Display wasn't turned on when i connected it first via Molex. After i connected the buttons to the controller and pressed the power button once it worked just fine. Thanks for the tutorial and the monitor recommendation man.
Happy to hear that 😃. Regarding the buttons, I think once you turn on the monitor the first time, you won't need them anymore. Because when you cut off the power from the monitor ""PC is off; no more power"" then once you turn on the PC the monitor will come back to the last status it was on.
it is. There is a PC case by iBuyPower called 'Snowblind'. The unfortunate thing is that the build quality sucks (according to reviews) so this is probably a better way to do it lol.
Hello, May I ask where I can find the temperature indicator with the time located at 0:42. Please could someone send me a link where I can download it.
So that wasn't a temperature indicator, that's the "iBUYPOWER Snowblind Meters" link in the description. If you are looking for a temperature indicator I recommend NZXT CAM with a white theme. Link also in the description
Very good tutorial. I watched it after already completing my build and I have nothing to add to this, other than maybe you should explain a bit better how to work out which wires you need to apply 5V to. Also, I didn't think of painting the controller board white, I might do that as well
Bro idk if you thought of it it’s a great business idea given how PC building is blooming and has been id defo buy something like this at a reasonable price
I originally used double-sided tape, but I ended up breaking the ribbon cable on the screen and had to replace it. Removing the screen from the glass was a nightmare because of that tape. So on my next try, I used regular clear tape instead, and it's been holding up fine for over a year without any issues.
hello, I would like to ask how you found out which side the anti glare foil is from, because I did it with 2 monitors and I always tore off the polarizing layer. Thank you in advance for your reply.

how is the lcd panel connected to the gpu. is there a cord running from inside the tower to the exterior and plugged into a display port or is the wiring all internal ?

Quick tip: When you turn your phone 90° while filming your videos won't look like shit.
I know man 😣 I was always against vertical filming.
Unfortunately this video was made for TikTok

Yo dk if I’m too late but cracked AIDA64 is optimal
Thanks for the advice. I'm gonna give it a try.
I was all in until I had to do electrical work. I might die!!!
We got the point of power but have its get connected to pc as monitor with out hdmi !
why do you use 4x3 instead of 16x9 aspect ratio and is it because of 16x9 bigger screen or is it not that wide so it fits well on glass panel.🤔🤔

so you used regular clear packing tape to hold the monitor to the glass? That's a good idea.

How can I glue the screen connectors back? it came off when I was removing the glass from the metal frame
Unfortunately you can't
how do you have it not show the bottom bar on that display only?

You just look at it under a light. If it's matt or non-reflective, then it's anti glare layer. But if it is reflective or shiny then don't peel it off

What liquid is used to remove the layer ?
Water!
the display controller is integrated into the main circuit board im littel confusd
Ohh you make this good shit viral
How do you know that there is 2 antiglare layers? How do i check mine?
Anti glare layer is Matt glass is shiny
@AL-Tech thank you, I bought the same monitor but one side is already shiny. I guess I have 1 antiglare. You answered so fast!)
What should i do if my display is TAB and not Chip on Glass (COG) like yours? The ribbion that connects the two pcbs is short. What should i do?
I'm sorry, but try to find a different display. Otherwise it's going to look ugly
@AL-Tech do u have any ideas? It's the only display kind I could find.

why we are removing the antiglare sheet ?
If you don't remove it, everything will be very fuzzy and you won't be able to see inside the PC
Can i use an LG Flatron L1952TX monitor?? idk what the difference is from the L1919s you used in the video. I cant find one of those anywhere
Yes you can. I only recommend that model because we don't know each exact model what kind of ribbon cables inside them are.
@@AL-Tech Thanks im ordering it off of ebay and will follow your steps. awesome video.

Are u located in sweden?
No, Germany
What wallpaper's do you use, i was only able to find some of them. Really like the ones with the time.
Just pined a comment. Check it out 👍

How much did it cost to make
can you play colored wallpapers on this or only black-white?
yes you can
my pc glass looks completely invisible. Its crazy. For the latest Lian li case
Please,i need Help. I remove the layer on the Front and i see nothing. With layer it works. But than is not transparent
You just removed the polarising layer.
Sorry there's no fixing that.
how is the lcd panel connected to the gpu. is there a cord running from inside the tower to the exterior and plugged into a display port or is the wiring all internal ?
Yes, the VGA cable is running from inside the tower to the graphics card in the back. Then into an HDMI adapter.

7+8 +5v
GND you need to find on the controller.
Or look at the controller PCP ir should be writing on the back of the PCP
@@AL-Tech how to find them if there is nothing written on the PCB except some strange string of characters like TP36
Connect GND to a screw hole. There is usually conductive circle around the screw hole for ground.
I connected the 12v wires to the 12v molex and my controller stopped working
Display controller? It should work only with 5V i was clear on that. The 12V is for the LED strip
@@AL-Tech then why didn't I cut the 12v wires coming from the controller? They don't power anything.
I got the exact same model and unfortunately it has 2 pcb's
did you get an LG Flatron L1919S ?

No 10V.
Your just passing 5V to 2 different wires that's all.
Same for the GND ground
