The world needs more IKTPQ.
You never know what time might bring man! 🤙🏼
Hell yes!!
"There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret" was amazing! I still consider this album one of the best in BMTH discography. Jona gives the impression of a good guy
Always patiently waiting for more prom queen music 🤞
Actually never heard of this dude or listened to any of his music, but came across a clip of this interview randomly and ended up watching the whole thing. Really nice guy, really great interview!
Hell yeah thanks mate! Appreciate you stopping by
I met jona around 2013-2014 at a show @ the filmore and he was super chill. He told me he was a bit homesick and i understood him as here in the dmv dc area its a whole different world than where he's from. Glad to know he's doing wll for himself and his family cheers brother!
What happened with DRUGS?
We need more Prom Queen 🔥
JJ next surely. Love your work fellas.
Thanks mate!! JJ would be a great chat
This just popped up in my reccomended, you have a new sub here :D Grew up in the mid 2000's going to shows religiously in Perth, its sick to reminisce back to these days!
Eyyyy thanks man!! Welcome to the club 😁🤙🏼
Farkk I know it will probably never happen but it would be sick if Ed Butcher was on this podcast. Never heard his perspective on anything Prom Queen related or anything at all for that matter lol
Woah i do remember Jonah's tweets while he was with the band and after , tbh he handled it all well and really seemed something not serious but him going basically homeless because the rug pulled from under him would deviate anyone's motives glad he's getting the attention he deserves sorry Jonah
🙏❤️
Awesome
Thanks mate!
Played in a shitty band with Kevin's brother Dylan singing around 2002. Still remember the night Kevin told us he'd joined Prom Queen. Crazy times.
So many amazing Adelaide bands in that era like Sprawl, Enemy Of?, The Killchoir Project and Day Of Contempt.
Yearned for a sign of life from Prom Queen in this, but I can't say I was surprised not to necessarily hear one. I hope it gets back on the table at some point, even in the form of the odd drop of music like he sort of hinted at in terms of the culture shift with doing stuff remotely/in smaller quantities.
It’s a banger
I played in a shitty hard-core band in Adelaide back at the same time prom Queen started coming up. Cool hearing these stories! Also a purple belt 🤙
Ossss! 😁
