- Challenge of Tutankhammon is an Egyptian Tomb interactive blaster dark ride at Walibi Belgium theme park in Belgium. This ride is manufactured by Sally Dark Rides. What do you think of this ride?
"Do you have any idea about how the Egyptian atmosphere feels like? In this Egyptian tomb you will discover everything about it. Watch out, because you and your team are not the only visitors." - www.walibi.be/en/explore-the-...
Ride filmed May 2023 at Walibi Belgium
Would have been happy enough with an historic Egyptian ride so bit unexpected the shoot em up horror thrill ride but at least, gets the scale and wonder of Egyptian gods and the artistry of ancient egypt still as powerful images today as 3500 years ago.
There's some really great creativity in this one! Like using strobe lights to make it look like the insect wings were flapping, or using the transparent mirror to make that woman turn into a skeleton.
Well that is certainly a long ride. You definitely get your money's worth on that one. Legoland CA has something similar but it's 4 rooms and you're done, back to the exit, LOL. This one? It just keeps going and going. Nice.
Gotta love it when the temple doesn't have a ceiling! 😊
black roof and black wall feels wrong
That's always a problem with the lowlight onrides. When you are actually on the ride, you dont notice it.
@@flaffstar_99 Oh, I'm sure that the ride looks better in person. The lowlight camera needs to be adjusted in this way, or else it wouldn't pick up details. Still, I think the theming could have extended a bit further overhead.
I wonder how Tutankhamen would react to this ride or Egyptians in general from over 2000 years ago? 😂
He'd be mighty proud
Revenge of the mummy on life support 😅
If you see it in real life, it doesn't look like that at all. It's a very good darkride.
good animatronics...not too big a fan of the blaster elements
Now this is really cool. Wish it was at the Luxor in Vegas.
Luxor is hella old and basically falling apart now sadly
Did they build this ride just for kids cause there's literally no leg room for adult riders there. Why are they so cramp? 😂
That’s exactly what I was thinking! It’s like they expect you to be standing with the amount of leg room they graciously decided NOT to give you 😂😂😂
Yes
Awesome park
Nice park
I have to say the Animotronic modles are realy realisitic
So much money spent. And then the exposed ceiling happened
It’s like revenge of the mummy at universal
This is one Egyptian-themed ride I wanna see get Japanese dubbed.
if any1 wanted to do a stargate ride this could easily convert to maybe the wrath of ra
HI, what type of camera and setting did you use? The low light looks great!
🤠
This used to be dark, seems like they upgraded the scenario lights. The woman turning into a skeleton used to be so dark you could see lightning made her into a skeleton.
ana😃😃😃😃😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃👍👍😃😃😃👍👍😎
At the point of watching this has 360 views ironic

i certainly hope belgian waffles are available here. what always bugged me about mummy films is that all he really ever did was choke people out. apart from being around a long time, no special powers at all.
I'm sure this was nicer before the guns were attached.
This actually looks like fun but... last i checked cerberus was greek soo why am i seein a 3 headed dog
what happened to the fire effect?
is it just me or does it appear to be for people with short legs? I am 5'9'' my legs would be crushed
Pew pew pew pew pew pew
For anyone wonder the ride is much darker in person so you can’t even see the ceiling
I think they upgraded the lighting after 20 years. Not bad since it was way too dark to see anything.
Kid: Mom, can we go on The Mummy/Indiana Jones ride?
Mom: We have The Mummy/Indiana Jones ride at home.
The Mummy/Indiana Jones ride at home.
😂
Bro
No reason for this to be a trackless system
In the past you could have 3 different tracks depending on how many points you got. I have no idea if this is still the case today.
There are multiple endings and paths the ride vehicle can take so you definitely need the trackless ride system
Ride does have a nice long time, but man, its so SLOW... Yawn...
Meh. Still better than Web Slingers.
Whatever you do don't look up
It's SO BORING they give you stuff to do⁉️ Definitely MISSABLE.
Rip Off Of Lost Kingdom Adventure At Legoland!
This opened in 2003 well before Lost Kingdom Adventure. They're also made by the same designer Sally Dark Rides.
Not impressed with the shooting inaccurate flashing lights
Awful. Dark rides have become shooting galleries and when you can see the lights above because they didn't cover the ceilings it's just not a dark ride at all thumbs down
This ride opened in 2003. Id say all things considered its a pretty impressive ride especially with all those animatronics. This park has nowhere near the budget of Universal or Disney.
I think it's a quite impressive dark ride. It's so much better in person.
I'd bet that 100 percent of guests don't notice the lights and ceiling and are just having fun
@@broformers6433Held up pretty well being a 20 years old ride.
