@@aussietig3r The one is Germany is a Carbon Copy of the Australian one - the German version opened in 1996 so definitely not a relocation - like I said both rides existed at the same time and both where called Bermuda Triangle until the AU version was removed and the German one was refurbed - to be fair the German ride has remained pretty much the same.... but a lot of the classic effects where fixed and it was generally spruced up - so for many fans - the rebrand to Area 51 was worth it for that!

part of the pre-show story is that they flooded Groom Lake because of the aliens. not that coherent, but enough to not destroy the illusion. i love that ride, altho i also think the old Bermuda theme was a little better fitting. overall its the same ride tho
It reminds me of a display window of a department store. You can pretty much dress it up to be anything ... and the boat slowly goes past it. You could make it the "Escape The WEF" ride where you see all the globalists gathering to plot the takeover of the world, releasing vyruses, forcing injections and then in the end you escape with help from Russia who doesn't want to be part of the Uniparty world order.

Its not an exact copy, the australian version had some different decors like a stone dragon the boat would pass though. It also featured on board audio which the german version doesnt have

Some of the theming is very cool, but the ending is anti climactic for sure. Some simple things could be done to make this ride a little more exciting in the slow parts.
I didn't know Groom Lake has water. Actually we don't know what Area 51 looks like, but all that we know is it's a real place that real secretive. I knew a retired air force mechanic in Salt Lake City who had worked in Area 51 saying he agrees with me that it's only America's experimental black bird program. He said he wonders what the Aurora project looks like.
The original hanger has been abandoned and emptied out. I’ve seen documentaries that go inside, but it’s nothing special since being gutted and relocated.

In the original state, there was dense water steam beginning from the backward section, which increasingly takes away the view and then also became hotter and hotter towards the top of the lift. That is why the last seconds are so empty.
I think having the aliens talking and sizing up the riders would have been more engaging, Like the alien in front of the only empty tube holding the people he could have said "We have an opening for you" or something like that.
here's my theory what if both the german and australian rides lead to the same pocket reality ... hmmm think about it also i'm so happy to see this existing it was my favourite ride at sea world
I don't know what you plan to visit but germany has some incredible parks, including Europapark and Phantasialand, definitely have to do this one time in your life

@@QDude24 almost every ride's theme in the park is set in the US, thats not the reason. Movie Park is next to the German/Dutch border and also close to Begium. There are also lots of people in our area that don't speak german. the park is located in a cultural melting pot. England is also not that far away, probably like a 6-7 hour drive or 1h flight. That's why most rides have dutch and english translations, mostly subtitles, but sometimes also audio. e.g they used to show all of their shows in english and german. not anymore tho.
I love the concept of an Area 51 ride but it was more frightening than I had expected. Especially when the boat drifted past the alien working on the @nal probes @ 3:11 in the video. I had to turn my head and cough.

Ooh man i used to go a lot as a kid, then it still was warners bro movie park (or sonething). They had crazy batman shows with actors and such and big stage. As a kid i never knew what ip’s were and when the park was sold (and all the warner bro’s movie ip’s were gone) i could not see batman again and was mad. I never went back there, but i live an hour away or so. Now its all nickelodeon an such, i dont hate the park anymore (bc i know now how ip’s work) but its not for me ^^.
dude do you seriously compare a german park to fucking Disney? Disney is literally the biggest theme park company on the planet with by far the highest budgets, even higher than universal. Movie Park Germany is a one-day park in the middle of a metropole with mostly less wealthy people and costs 40-50 euros and sells cheap food. Disney costs at least 200 per day and offers high class gourmet experiences. but yeah, they "didnt put in the effort"... Also look at Disney Paris. THIS is what i call "not putting in effort". Literally the worst Disney Park in the world. for comparisonn: most rides at Movie Park cost around 10-15 million dollars to build. Given the small budget, they put in WAY MORE effort than disney, because they use every euro very wisely. especially if you look at the newer stuff at Disney, wich fucking sucks. Disneys budgets are usually 50-200 Million dollars. Also its a ride from 1996 and its still one of the Top 3 dark rides in all of germany, and probably in the european Top 10.

there is a VR headset that is made for under water that would go great with a ride like this, you could change the water to slime or guts or something and make the whole thing look like you crawled up into something.
Hey. Movie Park used to be called Warner Brothers Movie World Germany, and was a sister park to the one still existing in Australia. Lots of stuff is very similar, including the layout of the park and the main street. However, Warner Brothers sold the German park in the early 2000s, so they rebranded to Movie Park and re-named/re-themed a lot of the rides. So it's no longer associated with Warner brothers, but a lot of the older rides were built by them, so they may seem similar to Warner brothers movies and IPs.
This ride has so much time for nothing.. just sitting and looking at rocks, I like that the pillars fall after you leave too, but when animatronics are there the sets look great!!
These parts are actually authentic USAF parts, you can see this in a behind the scenes video (in german) of this ride. Warner "dumped" all this scapped USAF parts from US to germany to fit the theming for the first ride (bermuda triangle).

It’s not Disneyland or Universal so rides don’t have to make sense they don’t have the budget or copyright if it comes to close they get sued I get that most people don’t care but that’s what it is.
It's close to the border with the Netherlands and Belgium. A lot of them come over to the park for a day trip, and they don't speak German. It's kinda like Disneyland in Anaheim having Spanish audio for announcements .
This ruined my childhood. I was 8 and sat next to my grandma but it felt so claustrophobic and dangerous and it was terrifiyng and i cant get on any rollercoaster afterwards.
I disliked flume (boat/log/plane) water rides as a kid too. However, it's such a shame that it made you unable to get on a rollercoaster. I think you may like rollercoasters; you should try one and see. 😄

Why did the boat number switch between 6 and 9? Was the footage stitched together, or was it meant to be an “eerie” effect?
We rode it twice. One with a lowlight camera and another a Gopro camera for the outside portion and drop.

This ruined my childhood. I was 8 and sat next to my grandma but it felt so claustrophobic and dangerous and it was terrifiyng and i cant get on any rollercoaster afterwards.
I disliked flume (boat/log/plane) water rides as a kid too. However, it's such a shame that it made you unable to get on a rollercoaster. I think you may like rollercoasters; you should try one and see. 😄
There aint that many trees within a 1000 sq miles of 'Area 51'. and those 'mountains' look 'baaaad'...
