First time I ever really 'broke' Morrowind was with constant effect chameleon enchantments. At 100% enemies won't even try to fight you, they just run around in terror after getting hit. Mildly disappointed it didn't feature here but maybe in a future video.
It was pretty stupid before they updated the game to fix the constant effect enchantments without consuming a grand soul gem glitch. So many enchantments that just so happen to fit in a petty soul while still being constant.
Hey hey JBN! A friend of mine recently shaved all his hair off because he also has alopecia and has been struggling for quite a while with that decision. He's been staying a lot at home and sheltered himself from our D&D group because he was embarrassed about having gone bald at 23. @@saber7534it be like that sometimes. Took me a bit to feel like people will barely notice (if at all) english is actually not my native language through text. People say i don't have an accent when speaking but idk about that. I love the english language, i end up speaking it more than even my native tongue (portuguese) purely out of habit, i'm lucky my beloved wife speaks it too. I just wanted to say it's a common thing for people who don't have english as their mother tongue to feel insecure regardless of proficiency, basically, but ended up saying more than was relevant, sorry :p i get carried away by things i enjoy from the bottom of my heart, the english language included.

No lie, as a Morrowind fanboy these videos are literally the best. I'm a huge fan, and I hope that I get to see more soon! I think killing every god (Almsivi, Dagoth Ur and the luck-elf from Mournhold) only using skeletons would a god-tier video. Showcase the old "soul-trap permanent summon" glitch and rule the world with your skeleton army. Would donate for that tbh lol

12:35 adding multiple enchant effects in different orders will result in different total costs. I haven't done much extensive testing on this but from what I gather each effect's cost seems to be determined by the school of magic of the preceding effect. It might even be on a per-spell basis rather than school of magic, I haven't bothered testing enough to tell. For example a test I just did shows that applying "restore health 100 pts for 1 sec" followed by "poison 100 pts for 1 sec" has an enchant point cost of 95, while applying the same effects in opposite order results in a cost of 115, so my takeaway in general is that restoration spells should go before destruction spells. It might be worth testing this in-depth if ever you revisit this topic, or maybe there is some documentation on this already but I cba to do my research lol
the spells earlier in the list have a cost multiplier applied, so cheap effects should go first. poison has a base cost of 9, restore health has a base cost of 5.

I actually stumbled into almost this exact setup by accident, including the 1 second levitate + as much speed as possible for travel. I wasn't speedrunning, I just got tired of attacks with failure chances and decided to make a rocket launcher.

I sincerely appreciate how you manage to keep the classic landscape of Morrowind alive and refreshing, and the commentary itself reminds me of an experienced walkthrough or guide :)
So, I recommend doing the soul gem selling loop. What you do is buy soul gems from a merchant in tel mythral I believe its on of the telvanni settlements you can take a boat there. Then you cast a conjuration spell with a common soul which ancestral guardian works well for. Then once soul trapped to sell the soul gems to our friend Creeper in the orc house. Rince and repeat the process to get thousands of gold in a very short time.
I like how the first Golden Saint you summoned had the shield with one of the highest enchant values.
This is how I played the game, I always like being a trader/skills person in MMO's even if it's an afterthought in the game, so it kind of felt like what an OP craftsman would be to create/use god tier enchants as a source of power.
I usually skip the "sponsor segments" in videos... but that was pretty amusing, caught me by surprise lol
I’m sure this story isnt true but I remember some green text talking about how OP enchanting was in Morrowind and it ended w the player getting one big hit on the big bad their juiced up mace and the damage was so high it caused the game to crash.
From what I gather, all of the broken stuff in the Elder Scrolls games always boils down to 2 things:
1. Lack of skill/attribute caps
2. Being able to fortify said skills/attributes
Though if you ask me, it's the 2nd bit that makes these especially broken; if you think about it, this would've been significantly harder to pull off if the fortify skill effect wasn't able to be learned.
You could probably manage it with fortifying intelligence, but at that point it'd be better to go the alchemy route to get 10000 intelligence for 10 real-life hours, then make powerful enchantments, but then you have the issue of running out of charge too quickly. I guess you could get 100 enchanting and use Akatosh's ring or something.

Slowfall is pretty useful too. You can put it on a cheap ring with a cheap soulgem and make it 1 point for 1 second and it will never run out of charge.

Yes you can.
I used an expesive amulet with constant effect Levitate 1 pt. and it worked for me throughout the game (mq, haven't done the expansions yet). It felt like the cheap (60%) flying mount from TBC, pretty cool. I had it hotkeyed, and swapped between that and another amulet with a constant effect of fortify speed, so that I could run when on the ground. For landing, my acrobatics got high enough that I didn't take much fall damage, so I would just hot-swap the amulet mid-air and it would work itself out somehow. Also, constant effect restore health and constant effect restore fatigue (even just a few points) are broken OP.

This game kinda reminds of a game I used to play when I was a kid called Oblivion
My first playthrough of morrowind I stole the some dreugh helm and enchanted it with the free filled grand soulgem from Galdibirs desk with a 5-5 fire damage on target and had a machine gun hat that I used to hunt Odrinators for stuff to sell to creaper for training.
Imagine being a literal Demi god, and then some really fast guy just starts zipping everywhere throwing magic bazookas at your feet

I think itd be fun to do a Merchant run. Must be unarmored, wear fancy clothes, can use enchanted gear, potions, and scrolls. Speechcraft & Mercantile must be major skills. Must buy, sell, barter, trade, and work your way to big $$$. No Creeper or Mudcrab. Only honest jobs, no killing or stealing. Using Sunder & Keening is fine. No cheese.
