i always giggle hearing Post Malone say "yes ma'am". i remember being in high school is 2004 and we did typing classes with those chunky keyboards and we couldnt look while typing 😂
@@bammmitsrachel in my typing class, we also weren't supposed to look at the keys while typing. and the keys were painted with fingernail polish. 🤬 but, fortunately, a little of it had worn off, so, when i peeked, i could figure out what some of the keys were 😅 i used QWERTY for years, but i eventually switched to Dvorak. i haven't moved my keys around, so peeking isn't as helpful and i learned to fully touch type
It's crazy that the cinematographer working with her is Rodrigo Prieto, who just happened to have also worked some little films like Barbie, Killers of The Flower Moon and Brokeback Mountain. No big deal. And shout out to makeup and hair! We are always hovering... 🤗
About the "Us" easter egg, some swifties who noticed it thought it was a reference to Taylor's "The Story of Us" from her 3rd album. But, upon a later announcement about a song "Us", most swifties think it's an easter egg for this new song. The song is a collaboration with Gracie Abrams, who is a swiftie herself. She was one of Taylor's opening acts for the US leg of The Eras Tour.
@@HPReact One fun fact about Gracie Abrams: She's the daughter of director and producer J.J. Abrams! (And also a really nice and humble person as far as I have seen) 😉
The guy behind Taylor is Joseph Cassell, her stylist. He’s been working with her since 2011. He’s intricately involved in all things dressing Taylor-award shows, other events, every day and music videos and tours. All of her costumes are by top designers, with a few new designers thrown in. The Tortured Poets Fortnight black dress was made by Vivienne Westwood. The white dress in video beginning matches the dress she wore to the 2024 Grammy’s in shape and color and esthetic when she announced the TTPD album back in February by Schaparelli. It’s crazy to know that they were working on all of this while on the break in between the first tour leg and the international leg. All of the costuming had to be ordered and designed under top secret rules. All of the tour costumes were designed by top designers in various color combinations, although, there were some smaller unknown designers that provided some of the costumes. The person who made all of the hipster hats she gives away during 22. Christian Louboutin did all of her shoes and boots worn during her eras (red sole fame) including the boot whose heel broke and she broke it off and threw it in the crowd during the Rio show.
When Taylor is directing Post Malone, it's interesting to again see that she has a great vision of what she wants, and readily accepts Post's input too. As you said, they are both respectful and professional. And they still have a good time. Thanks for the producer and director insights again!
I love Post Malone even more after hearing how respectful he is towards her. They’re both such professionals yet easy going. It must have been fun to make this. The Easter Egg “US” on the book was the song written by Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift “US” that was released for the first time during an Era’s concert. Gracie came out on the launch day just to sing it with Taylor. Taylor admitted that they had just been out to eat together, consumed some adult beverages and came back to Taylor’s apartment and came up with this. There’s a short BTS of “US” and Taylor is putting out a good fire with a fire extinguisher that was giving her trouble. It’s funny. The song is truly a beautiful duet. I believe that it has references to both of their past long term relationships. Gracie always dreamed of writing with Taylor so this was a dream for Gracie and Taylor loves to support other dedicated artists. It’s wonderful that she brought her out on the stage for this and was given such a welcoming reception that was truly special. ❤
Oh my goodness Scott you brought back a memory from my high school days in the late 90s early 2000s where it was a requirement to take two typing classes to even graduate. And god forbid you ever looked down, you'd lose points on your test/project. I think I type rather quickly without looking due to my years and years of piano lessons starting at the age of 5 ❤
I don't know if you guys do this but I highly recommend her lyric videos too. I love every song off the new album. Most of the songs are essentially poetry, especially off the second half of the album. I also recommend reading the poem she wrote on the vinyl cover. It essentially says that the album is about a brief moment of insanity where she went from a depression to mania to depression and finally leveling out. It's mostly directed at Matty Healy from the 1975, with a few songs about her long term relationship with Joe Alwyn and also takes hits at fans, the media and the music industry. There is a very sweet song about her producers son called Robin towards the end. The final song on the album wraps her past trauma, closes a chapter and leaves the stories to her fans to make into their own.
I really wished she put the Anti-Hero and Cardigan BTS online. The only way to see them is at a show. Those were great to watch. Maybe after the Tour is over she will.
Post is also dabbling in country music & has a new song out with Blake Shelton called 'Somebody pour me a drink' & another one with Morgan Wallen called 'I had some help'. Both fun songs & I love seeing Post have fun. He is actually a silly guy.

Taylor uses typewriters but it was cute she was showing Post Malone how & he loved it. For him, I think she’d enjoy Circles. Also for BTS, their Carpool Karaoke segment is great and they end up singing Circles by Post Malone (very well) as one of the songs. They like his music. It’s worth it just for Jimin & James’ Mochi bit.
Haha, we're old, guys! I took typing in high school, too. I remember we all had paper race cars with our names on them taped to the wall, and I lived to beat everyone with my impressive typing speed! Great memories. However, our typewriters were not antique like that one. I'm actually a writer, ghostwriter, and professional editor and would love to buy a typewriter like those.
Great job, guys. Taylor has so much more potential to show. Many people won't appreciate how amazing Taylor Swift is until 15 years later. And I agree about Post saying yes Ma'am. That's nice.... We don't say that in Australia, except in the military, but we should.
I highly recommend the All Too Well (10 minute) lyric video. People often recommend the short film but, IMO, the short film can distract from the lyrics and, if it’s the first time you’re hearing that song, you definitely want to focus on the lyrics. 😊
I enjoyed this! I hope you don't just wait for the next Taylor Swift video and/or behind-the-scenes to come out, and instead you will react to any of her existing videos in the meantime!
In high school, I took a typing class too! It was a half-year. I was scheduled for a shorthand class the 2nd half of the school year, but they cancelled it permanently. 😭 I really wanted to take it because I'm very slow at handwriting, and I wanted to be able to write notes faster. I have my grandfather's (or maybe it was my dad's) typewriter that's built into a black box for portability. Then I have my dad's typewriter that's a '70s professional office-style typewriter. Then I have a typewriter that has enough memory to hold a resume and has an RS-232 interface so that it can be controlled from a computer. So, I have a typewriter mini-museum. 😄
She has such a vision for all of her music! ❤ And Postie is so respectful and kind. ❤
