What's extremely tragic is that there was a US Navy ship nearby, and I mean a huge one with flight decks and 1000+ personel. And as soon as they caught wind of the situation, they rushed to the scene and asked for permission to engage in the rescue operations. They were denied by the South Korean government and told to basically f*ck off. They remained in the harbor, literally begging the South Korean government to change their minds. Because they had the equipment and proper training to save those kids. By the time the South Korean government relented and let them in, it was too late.

It's called Sitar. It is an integral part of Indian classical music. It is sometimes considered the King of all musical instruments.

I had the same “Yes” T-shirt in the 70’s. Anyway, That’s “V”! He always keeps us guessing. Such a unique and creative artist. I love the contrast between the MV and song. It adds another layer when listening to the song. Perfect vocal blend from V and HyoShin.

Tushar has done some really good fusion experiments. I would definitely suggest to check them out!

The pianist that was tushar lal and he did the arrangement for this. And yes indian flutes have very distinct sound and tune , so it had to be a recorder for the irish inspired bit. Sitar is ok but the veena is phenomenally better & would have been amazing for this , its just its an even harder & rarer instrument , you probably won't find many musicians who can play it. Tabla was nice. And the mridangam was okay but you should definitely check out a concert or kacheri with mridangam it sounds heavenly for a percussion instrument and just like tabla it can play some of the musical notes perfectly , so you'll get live competition on stage between the vocalist , veena artist , violinist and tabla artist or mridangam artist playing indian classical music be it hindustani (north indian) or carnatic (south Indian) type of classical music concert. Also one of the biggest legendary tabla players of all time , the maestro and ustad Zakir Hussein , just passed away in San Francisco hospital in California a few days back , may his soul rest in peace.

React to the Tabla Maestro "Ustaad Zakir Hussain". He was the God of Tabla. He passed away a couple of days back.

The Indian Jam Project's cover of Coldplay's Fix You is another fantastic cover. About the percussion instruments - the "Bongo-like" one is called a Tabla, and the horizontal one is probably a mridangam. There are other mridangam-like instruments in India. It's hard to tell from the video.

When you are not familiar with a piece of music it is not advised to react to its cover version. Although being in the industry if you are not familiar to the Titanic Sound Track, please shut your channel.

They have done covers of The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Harry potter, Star Wars, Pink Floyd, Imagine(John Lennon) etc.. which are even better than this one IMO. Hope you guys react to them too in the future.
