Keeping the faith that soon I'll be back on the road and in the air. This setback has been a tough one for me but I know everything happens for a reason. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
I really enjoy all your videos. That's quite an adventure you are on and definitely a challenge in itself. Hopefully your bike gets fixed right. Maybe time for a whole new engine.
I'm glad you enjoy them! Yes this adventure has been quite the challenge, but the highs have definitely outweighed the lows. The bike needed a new piston, carb adjustment, new ring, new shift lever (on the foot), and the cylinder needed bored out. Unfortunately when they bored out the cylinder the tolerances were wrong so it would overheat very quickly. Just hoping they get it corrected soon. Thanks for writing me.
We’re loving your adventures… watching them all! Keep up the great videos. Sorry to see the troubles along your path. But, you got this! Keep positive and safe. Obstacles can be opportunities to overcome and learn. Be the best you can be. I’m sure you’ll have some more amazing adventures and stories to remember and tell. Love Laugh Live!!!
Thanks JT! Glad you're enjoying the adventure with me. I'll take your words to heart ("Be the best you can be"). I like that a lot and needed to hear that now. Thanks for writing me.
All is about problem-SOLUTION it's all around Life for us all the time, get the best of the experiences and looking to follow forward, is so great to learn to do some hands on in the motor of the bike, crazy motorcycle shop but better in a town safe than in the middle of the highway without no help at all, be safe brother and Fly Baby Fly.
Love your positivity! Usually I do all the work on my cars and motorcycles myself, but in this case the work was way too much for the tools I carry with me (boring the cylinder, new piston, new ring, etc.) so I was at the mercy of the motorcycle shop. Definitely better here than out in the middle of nowhere or on the side of the road. Thanks for writing me - always good to hear from you!
Didn't have time to watch this sooner but it was worth the wait as usual. You know what they say: motorbikes are the new trailers! I hope they get it sorted quickly for you. I was fascinated watching this, and only towards the end I realised that there was no flying in it. If you keep this up I might look at the flying as an unwelcome distraction! I love the pictures and stories of everyday life. Can't wait to see next episode and learn if you got out of there...
Ha ha ha (motorbikes are the new trailers) Very funny! Good to hear from you again. Unfortunately I can't fly every episode, sometimes life gets in the way and/or I have mechanical issues. A bit of a pause because of the motorcycle but I'll be back in the air soon. Thanks for the comment as usual!
Hang in there. We’ve had “good” m/c shops mess up badly on our bikes in the US too. Conscientious and skilled shops/mechs are hard to find. I do my own work on all things mechanical. It’s an important skill when living on the road. “Be independent - depend on no one” my mom would say I recall from a very young age.
Great advice from your mom and I too live by that mantra - however on the road I just can't take the tools needed for this job. The cylinder needed bored out for a new piston and ring and that's nothing I can do while sitting in a hotel so I am pretty reliant on the shop at the moment. Just hoping the job will be done correctly soon as I'm anxious to get back on the road. Thank you for taking the time to write to me.
Definitely not a win in those six weeks. But I've got to get it fixed and there aren't a whole lot of places that can do this kind of work. I'll start getting more wins eventually - just have to keep at it. Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated!
My heart goes out for you, keep that head in the game and your fingers crossed and stay positive
Thanks Chris, I really appreciate that! Hopefully soon I'll be back on the road. Thanks for writing.
Keep your head up. Hope you get out of Cali soon!
Yeah me too! Thanks Mark for all your support and for helping out. And of course for writing me.
Good one!
Thanks Ripa! Glad you made it home safe. Hope to see you in the same spot next year!
Good luck! Hopefully they get the bike figured out
They're getting there... slowly. Can't wait to get back on the road soon. Thanks for watching.
Wow! Just keeps getting better..Hope things work out for you real soon!
