Bayonetta 2 is a practice in excess. It subscribes to the more is more philosophy. But it does so beautifully. Every over exaggerated moment, every big sweeping move is awesome. This game is insanely fun, and one of the best action games of the past decade. Considering the fact that you also get Bayonetta 1 packaged in with Bayonetta 2, this is a MUST buy for any Wii U owner.
As far as the story goes, it follows closely after the first Bayonetta. While it's not required to have played Bayonetta 1, it does help in understanding the story. As always, we added relevant dialogue, exciting gameplay and all cutscenes to create one fluid narrative. We hope you enjoy! Make sure to like, comment and subscribe!

I like how although they still need organs, Angels seem more mechanical, non organic and funny enough, none of them have a face where you're supposed to have one! Except Joy and Jubileus, they all have a face on the torso, belly, sword, shield and others have a face on their face, like Audito! 🤣 It's also odd that some angels have no issues being deceitful or maniplative and looking down on humans.
This game is simultaneously a sequel and a prequel. How you pull that off with this much flair I'll never know XD

I thought Enzo was a sleazebag when he was first introduced but at this point I can't help but feel for the guy. He's a regular guy mixed up in a world of crazy supernatural hot people, and yeah he's supposedly doing some kind of criminal thing but you never actually see what he does and it's pretty clear he's got a loving family. It's not even an excuse for complaining about the crazy shit he goes through, he actually has ed and edna on his license plate in the first game.
Enzo is fine just the way he is, just wished they would've gave him more respect.

This game is beautiful because it brought the series full circle. We learn the origin of the witches and sages, and more importantly, we learn what Balder did and why. He could have had the life he wanted with his daughter but gave it up for her sake. He sacrificed his body, his mind, and his soul to save the past, present, and future from that mad god
While Enzo might seem sleazy, you can tell that while these mystical powerful beings might push him around here and there, they do hold some amount of respect for him.
I hope that in the next game, we get to see his wife and daughter, and see Bayonetta have a nice cup of tea with them while Enzo is scurrying around in the kitchen trying to prove to Bayonetta he makes the best calzones in the world, approved by his daughter.

Balder and several lumen sages were not evil to begin with. Loptr is the source of all the evil and he is the cause of the civil war between the umbra witches and lumen sages. He manipulated the lumen sages to do his bidding. That explains why balder was evil because he is under loptr's influence. He is the one that killed Balder's wife and Bayonetta's momma.
Well he'd have to wear something more revealing...

I love Bayonetta’s small moments of vulnerability. Being all worried about Loki and him just giggling about it was such a sweet addition. Moments like that truly make this game all the more enjoyable and satisfying. I don’t think I could ever hate any of these characters because of how charming they all are respectively.

Looking back at this from bayo 3 the angels and demons feel more powerful in the first two games. In the third they feel weaker and smaller to me personally in the cutscenes.

She's a witch, what do people expect, and about the hair? Why hair for clothing and stuff? Hair fetish? These people doesn't realize that hair is one of the ways to measure and symbolizes power of a witch in the old times(the longer the stronger if i recall that's why in bayonetta one she has a very long hair, changed in 2 to accomodate her new looks and still make it longer at will)

Also her worst trauma is always showed to be her mother's death, being it the reason she lost the strength to fight for herself during the witch hunts resulting on Jeanne putting her to sleep inside a coffin in a lake to pretect her. Her older self acts tough as a way to hide her actually soft heart, but she clearly still cares about people around her as much.
The moment she realises what actually happened to Balder, we see her putting her guard down and showing a really vunerable side she doesn't show for most characters in the game most of the time, and wouldn't if she still hated Balder as much. Her 2nd loud cry for "daddy" when he asked her for just once really shows how much she cared.

No Bayonetta 2 is not a prequel, it does show how Balder became evil in Bayonetta (1) though at the end. But he goes back in time so that means that Bayonetta 2 takes place later than Bayonetta (1).

This game is 100mph for 10 hours straight. Bayonetta 2 is such a great game one of the best of its kind. I will never look at DMC, GoW and Ninja Gaiden the same again, IMO they are inferior in every way.

You know there's something that crossed my mind that would it been a sweet and cool idea and i feel like its a bit of a miss opurtunity. You know how Jeanne is taking to inferno in this game well my idea was that Madama Styx (the demon who Jeanne has a pact with) would help Bayonetta somehow to save Jeanne like maybe when Bayo arrives in inferno Madama Styx would like step in and fiercly help her fight Alreune (The demon who is holding Jeanne hostage) this way shows how some demons are more then just weapons some of them actually do care about the Umbra Witches they made pacts with and don't wanna see them harmed or taken to Inferno sooner then intended. Anyway that's just my opinion.
Hot Damn! This game's story looks better than the first (which will always have a great spot in my heart)! So now I guess there's a reason to buy a Wii-U, besides Smash! That dropkick was classic LMAO!!!

Am literally going to watch this whole video just because of how much I love the visuals, art style and story. Game play actually isn't up my Alley so I'm okay with missing out on that part anyways.
Might be late but the games have an item you can equip that makes the gameplay automatically do combos and dodges and everything just for spamming buttons, so you can still enjoy the games

yeah, I actually adore that character, I was really disappointed when he vanished; he and Bayonetta's interactions were priceless! BUT that baby at the end was definitely holding a bunch of cards, and we already have confirmation he can be reborn, so it seems likely he's gonna get to actually live as a human at least for a while, so it's not all bad, you know?
Weird thought, Bayonetta could easily still be a virgin, she spent like all her life pre game around all female witches and never hooked with anyone significantly (as far as we know) after that during the time of the first game. Unless she had a thing for another umbran witch, but probably not considering they refer to each other as sister. But you never know with a character like Bayonetta I guess xD
