In this video, I'm featuring my awesome HPI Savage going off road. This truck was really at home on this type of surface and got quite a bit dirty LOL!!

Nice, I been running mine for the pass 2 months at least 3 times a week, and swapped the pipe for a novarossi, by the way is an 18 year old car will the orinal engine, suspension electronics, drifren spur and pinion gear, hope they make parts for it, this are legend trucks.
That thing can move might be my next project I'm working on a MGT 4.6 right now #NitroGang

still haven't tried it it's so clean
I bought another Savage 25 yesterday
First thing I did to my Savage was take out the HPI 4.6 and slap in an HPI 5.9!.........Big difference!

i converted mine to the XL chassis with huge wheels xD. it's slowed it down a tiny bit but still fun
Best MT ever. Got surprised how mine is consuming so little for a 4.6cc
Love my savage wouldn't sell or trade it for anything ever and hpi should continue making these trucks and bring back the parts support for these beastly rigs. Know of a hobby shop in Edinburg VA that has a ton of original hpi savage parts left hanging on his wall even had 2 original hpi tuned pipe kits still in unopened original packaging so I quickly scooped one up to replace the plastic pipe lol

Laz Yes, I did encounter that issue and just ran it like that based on performance rather than temperature.

Such a bad ass nitro monster truck. Its really a shame there are so few quality 1/8 monster trucks available now.
Awesome skill here strong build 😎 what oil weight in shocks this is as supple as you need without roll over during a whole tank 🥳🥳

You have to upgrade some of the parts on this to make it a reliable basher, keep popping out drives and burning clutch shoes and slipper pads, engine isnt too great either. Awesome truck!

sounds like your remote throttle trim is set in too far so that the brakes are always on and your engine is probably running too lean if you say its not great
@@SeerMusic. I’m making my own linkage at the minute for my throttle the stock one is absolute shite
i can watch this vid a hundred times. miss my truck. maybe after this pandemic i could work and save some money to buy another savage x 4.6 .
