Just went to traxxas website and bought a revo 3.3. I have been wanting to get back into nitros. Last one I had was a slayer pro that I didn't own long because I needed money. Before that I had a XTM xcellerator stadium truck. That thing was fast. Hardly anyone makes nitros anymore so we have limited options. Damn shame.

I'm debating a monster truck, for when we arent racing.... this has me tempted to get a nitro... cool to see HPI back around... Kinda looking between 3s, 4s ,and maybe 6S, or most likely one of these 2 if we did Nitro... Have nitro race rigs already, so familiar with that side of it a bit... not really much of a traxxas fan these days, but....

I use Eco Power 600 torque at 6v and over 20kg. Metal gears and water proof. Comes in a case like the caster racing ones but only coast 34.99 The one Dre357 is using is a good servo also.

i got a revo for some reason it want shift into second gear i bought it used but it loks brand new no scuff marks or anything do u have any idea what it could be
Peace brother My neighbor has a basically stock brand new savage x that i might purchase. (He ran 3 tanks and placed back in box for all of these years) Is it worth buying this version over the current model? If so What upgrades can i purchase for better handling and lower center of gravity and speed?
With only 3 tanks ran through it, I'll say it hasn't been fully broken in. Depending on the price and condition, I'll say go for it. There's not many things different in the new version and those parts are compatible with the older x 4.6. Lastly, the only upgrades I would consider for anyone right off would be a wheelie bar but that's just me. Any other upgrades I wouldn't spend the money until the part needed replacement. 💯

HPI Savage X 4.6 or the HPI Savage XL 5.9 are two great options 👌🏿
Hey my brother my steering servo is weak what would be a good up for savage 4.6 v2 besides a savox ?

@@shannonross1976 could be a loose slipper clutch, low rpm''s, or the 2 speed transmission needs to be adjusted. Start with those. Good luck!

@TRuffin maybe an aftermarket exhaust. I bought mine used as well and it came with a THS pipe. $300 to $350 sounds reasonable.
47 tooth metal spur gear & 17 hardened steel clutch bell.
I had lots of problems with the plastic spur gear.@@Dre357
