I got a Higround keyboard off of the TikTok Shop back in like November or December. They were on sale and I had been looking at them for a while. I’m happy with it. Primarily the sound of it. It has “silent switches”. I may get one of their bases to build my own. I don’t know much about custom keyboards, but that community being gatekeepers makes me wary to even bother to learn. I don’t wanna read all caps about what I should have done with my thing…😂
Nooooo way! You could of gotten something $30 cheaper that you don’t like but because someone else says it sounds good and has more lube on its anus, you got scammed
what people like to look at is just the fact they look good but look over the fact that this keyboard is very customizable for its price and is a good introduction for some people who might want to get in to custom keyboard bc of how easy the customization is
as a person who has thoroughly enjoyed collecting Higround keyboards...I actually agree with everything you said! if you like it buy it, if you don't then don't! They're sick and i would recommend them to anyone, but i am not going to sit and tell someone that it is going to make them any better at gaming. It's the internet there will always be a hater on the other end of whatever you do, so screw what anyone else has to say!
They’re on sale for $80 in Australia rn so I’m grabbing one, my current keyboard is not 100% functional anymore and I don’t wanna spend a huge load on a new keyboard as I wanna get a new headset too :)
@@vyte6531 i hope u read this for next time u buy a new keyboard u have great budget keyboards on liexpress these days take the aula f75 as an example which sounds and feels better but is 50 bucks or the lucky 65 a fully alluminium keyboard (barebones) for the price of 65 bucks
I can not stress this enough! Take the wootin for example, crazy price tag yet companies like DrunkDeer are making the EXACT same board for almost a quarter of the price, but because Wootin pushed creators to showcase it and it was the first of its kind, it was flag shipped as the fastest board, yet there are so many others that are doing the same thing for less. But high ground defo have taken the comp, e-sports, designer title compared to say Razer, Corsair etc
Theres something great about having that pique "cinematographer" lighting and camera quality and then in contrast actually telling the viewer how it is quick and dirty, especially on your points with the keyboard community. I kinda love it.
Bro the edits on this video are fucking FIRE!!! The end was amazing and got me double checking my my wifi plus the hobit joke was quality. Great work keep the content flowing you mad genius.
i think what sets highground apart is the keycaps. They are more like a keycap brand in my eyes and gmk keycaps are more then a whole highground keyboard. That being said, the price is justified if you are comparing it to the rest of the keyboard market.
I felt targeted with the Hobbit typo, lol. Get what you like, spend what you want it's your money and what you will be interacting with the most at your desk.
for cheaper keyboards pre built for best alluminium budget cases id recommend the lucky 65 and the leobog hi75 for plastic ones the ajazz ak820 pro or the aula f75
I think you hit the nail on the head with this video. I have the blue Summit Akuma keyboard that you showcased and I've loved everything about it since I purchased it last year. It sounds great, it feels great, and it looks badass in my opinion. It was an all around upgrade in every aspect compared to my previous razer keyboard I had from 2017 and to your point...it just looks cool as shit. Besides the price, I don't see anything wrong with it and it doesn't warrant some of the criticisms it receives.
I mean at this point it's basically the Apple of keyboards. It does it's job and if you're really not into customizing or modding your keyboard it's fine. I highly doubt no person who is into the hobby of keyboards have so much budget not to get into keyboards when there's literally no need to buy a keyboard more than 20$. But for most of us I'd rather have my 6 different keyboards that sounds different than a high ground keyboard. BUT if I want a keyboard that sounds fine and looks fire then a high ground is still dope. The criticisms that keyboard enthusiasts have is the price, but again if you're not into modding keyboards this looks worthit still. I have a couple of Akkos and Keychrons, I have more budget options like the RK and GMMK and they always looked and sounded blande, if I'm getting a keyboard like high grround out of the box it would surely feel a lot more expensive, even though it shouldn't. To me the keyboard hobby is more about what stuff you could do to cahnge the keyboard to your personal liking, but if you just want one dope looking keybaord that does the job then I see no problem with the highgrounds (But I still don't own one lol) and looks fire then a high ground is still a good choice
Could not agree more I went through still am kinda building rebuilding my and my entire families keyboard and coming to pretty much the same observation as you. I tried selling some, the only ones that sold were the name brand few I had, so been using up my spare bits switches caps ect putting the resulting keyboards on a table outside with a free sign. It is just a keyboard
I have a akko keyboard thay was a gift from my sister i think it was like 89 to 100 dollars it is a alright keyboard i am also mostly a controller guy lol
@BigE for the price pretty much I don't see what much more of a upgrade your getting for a higher price I also have a old corsair k70 the og model it's a full size kb I prefer the 65 percent just cause it's a space saver as far as performance they feel identical but that's probably cause I am pretty unsavy on kbs I do prefer mechanical to the memory board kbs tho
@@BigE even if you aren’t into anime, just watch AoT and your perspective on shows will change forever. Trust me like I trust you when I click on your vids 🤝

I like my Higround keyboard. I bought it solely because it was Gundam Wing themed. Buy what you like, simple as that.
Nooooo way! You could of gotten something $30 cheaper that you don’t like but because someone else says it sounds good and has more lube on its anus, you got scammed
@@BigE totally scammed. I should return it for something I hate looking at because I could have saved a buck
until the switches dont register. u got scammed
So made I missed that dropped just got a pc a few months ago and looking at all their boards I’m dying for that gundam one

Keyboard enthusiasts and audiophiles can be the biggest d bags in the tech space

I tried buying the summit Akuma board, and never got it after I paid. Had to get my money back after a year of waiting due to “logistics” issues.
Glad you got your money back. Want to buy mine? 🤣
i love your raw opinions, W channel, W content
I like my Higround keyboard a lot! It looks and sounds good and does all that I need it to do.
man but if i want design like higround where i can buy beautiful keycaps?
