that 1000cc superbike comment...spot on. CFMoto has a trade deal with MV Agusta for their V4 engine...the patent and documents have been released for such an engine under the CFMoto name. Will be interesting. Currently im sitting on a 2023 CFMoto CLX 700 sport...absolute GEM of a bike for my riding style.
Got one a couple of months ago....TBH, the Jury's still out on it. Had to back off rear suspension nearly 100%, due to the risk of spinal injury on an uneven surface!! Had to replace the SEAT, too!....original just way too thin! Spongy front end. The speedo 'options' are a nightmare to use....just to get the odometers on is an uphill task. You can't turn off the traction control, without it resetting every time you restart it. Wobbles weirdly on certain very smooth tarmacs (though I think it's the tarmac) Doesn't like being ridden right after starting on a chilly day (needs a minute or two to warm up....none of my other injected bikes exhibit this), and the throttle is pretty on/off from closed. On the plus side, the bike is BEAUTIFUL! (mine's the non bobber variant) the quality seems OK, the mirrors are very good, and despite misgivings, haven't proven to be a problem in the garage. Pretty readouts, The engine sounds fantastic, and while it's not going to set the world alight (my CB500F would eat it!) it pulls pretty well. First gear is pretty tall, though. Forget about gearing it up. It's pretty good on fuel, and has an mpg meter on it. Brakes are.....adequate. Seems to like sitting at about 60 mph (100kph) Good starter. Would I buy it had I ridden one first? probably not. But, she will be kept (for show, if nothing else) as she is beautiful. But, I would INSIST on a test ride on one of these, before buying one. I didn't after listening to all the rave reviews on YT....makes me wonder if the reviewers had 'vested interests' in CF Moto! Again....TEST RIDE before buying!! I hope this helps.
