Thanks Fellas. PS Not CGS, came out of the same print facility. 😉
We were sure by the end of the video that this was not in fact a CGS because this beauty sounded WAY better 😄
So why does my ODB say CGS as the manufacturer on my FORM 4?
Never tried a CAT but I do have the CGS Helios Ti. I use the standard end cap and it spends its life direct thread on one of my KAC rifles. I’m impressed with it and shoot without ear pro all the time. Of the many suppressors I have I like it a lot. Like I said though I’ve never tried the CAT.
Agree I have a Helios TI and you have to use the closed end cap. The flow through cap just seems like it was a total afterthought.
Need some help : from your personal experience non-biased what is the best 30cal suppressor ( 13.7 AR and 14.5 AK ) will be using it on. I have also thought about purchasing a dedicated 556 and 7.62 not sure at the moment. Great work
I have had a polonium 30 on backorder from silencer shop for going on a month... im wondering if I can cancel it an order the CAT... I see the titanium one is in stock.. 🤔
Yes u can I did it
I'm not impressed that you did a VS. and knowingly kept the open end cap on the Helios. Nobody that has a Helios uses the open end cap 95% of the time.
gay music
No idea you guys had a youtube channel haha. The helios back pressure is nuts on a gas gun. CAT IS AMAZING. TOLD YOU haha.
There a big difference in end caps with the Helios
Thanks for the video guys. I'm so glad I took the leap on the ODB ti - currently in jail thru you guys. Seems like a really special can.
CAT WB Ti is great on 556/223. Love it!
ODB beat the WB on the Mk18 too 😱
That was an impressive review!
Love the comparison vids, any chance for a CAT WB vs Flow 556k? Or even the flow 6k?
Helios definitely louder by a lot.
If I had the pass through tip on a suppressor it would be louder😂
My ODB is still sitting in jail while random people get theirs in just a few days. Damn ATF. I was more amazed by how bad the CGS was than at how good the ODB was. lol
Currently waiting on an RC3 to join my RC2 and fixing to buy an R9 any day now. Might go ahead and buy the ODB Ti also as I’m wanting a lightweight 30cal for hunting
Wait is that DJ Qualls? Dude sweet you are into guns! 😉
The WB is my all time favorite can I’ve ever heard and shot.
Remember no full auto or rapid fire lol
Not on Ti, but on 718 no drama. But remember dude, “Full Auto Rated” isn’t real and everything has an operating temp.
So I have been told that the Helios is a great full auto can. I guess I will have to take their word for it. I feel like it’s a helluva disappointment for any non-SOT owner.

Awesome video. So what is your first choice? No very happy with the sandman k on 5.56 or 308 semi.
Really appreciate your reviews of these two side by side- a lot of people are very interested in what's happening with the crazy advances in suppressor tech. Would love to see these on 300 BLK and get even more comparison points. As you stated- the Helios (and it's big brother, Hyperion) do seem to be more of a bolt gun suppressor or at least a dedicated 30 cal can, while the ODB seems like the king of work-a-day versatility. I know you said you'd only state your recommendation if we 'came to the shop and asked'... but... gonna ask anyway- what is your 'King of the 5.56 cans'? Keep up the good work and the excellent content!
The helios Is actually a 9mm bore not a 30 cal bore which is insane for a "5.56 silencer"
Helios was king for a year or two, but first to market rarely stays on top. Too bad, I paid a crapton for it. Still good for 300BLK which should be you next vs vid.
Helios was made to suppress a SAW. Ninja quiet was not the spec, durability and low backpressure was. Also, be sure to RTFM for the ODB Ti, there are some surprising temperature restrictions if you don't want to erode that first baffle wall.
I believe the Helios Ti is more durable than ODB Ti so the Helios Ti still has a place. There is more to it than sound.
Love the video style. Just straight forward demonstations with no pointless talk/filler/cringe shit
Ti or inconel, WB or ODB???
ODB 718
Needs no consideration to caliber or firing schedule
Quieter and lower backpressure (I think) than the WB
I did the odb ti for the crazy weight savings
Can we compare the ODB to the hyperion? Just curious
They did come out of the same factory
Yes, the CAT cans are manufactured by/through CGS. Who cares? TSF/CAT designs are 👑 right now.
So what's your first choice then?
Thank you for the review! Request for a review: CAT ODB vs. AB A-10 Warthog vs. OCL Polonium!
So what would be your "first choice" you mention?
What is your recommendation
Let’s do Cat WB vs Otter Polo
No comparison. The polonium is dope and sounds great, but it went with the super tight bore over crazy tech for its sound. It’s very similar to the YHM turbo. Great cans, just expect high back pressure. I don’t particularly like the CAT method, but they certainly did their research.
Looks like the same amount of gas to the face with both.. you just got lucky and had the wind push it away from your faces. Looks gassy with both. But the Helios was loud like all the time lol odd for a suppressor
He literally blew gas out of his mouth saying no gas haha
@@cameronmills3414 Have you never been in a cold climate?
Bruh it’s still hella loud tho, I value my ears so…
