im not really sure what the diablo team was expecting you to do with the box of crap they sent you but you did your best to incorporate it lol. statue came out incredibly cool, and the paint job is genuinely phenomenal
To be fair, the point clearly was not to improve the sculpture. It was more so a gimmick, to "include and attach value" to the sculpture based on the objects from the people that participated in the event.
hey jazza there is something in wood working called a rasp its kind of like a sanding block and a planer in one it goes well with hogging away all that material
You know when people refer as the "ugly phase" of a project? I feel like Murray's method makes that ugly phase of the paintjob last a while, but once it's done, man... Absolute greatness
Jazza, you can spray the expanding foam with water... just a light misting, and it will develop a skin over the surface. This skin lets you move and shape the foam much easier.
I think it kinda feels like he doesn’t really want to do this video. Almost all his choices in his mediums were for speed or cost savings, though, with this video being based around a sponsor, I don’t blame his forced enthusiasm.
You guys overanalyze thing... It's a normal vid, I guess the "less dramatic" u mention is when he failed? I mean he's doin enough sculpture and learn from his previous mistake so less failure attempt/product in the process. Make the video timeline more smoothly and less "drama"
That thing is freaking incredible! If Diablo doesn't want it for their office you need to prominently display it at the front of your building. It's a new level for Jazza studios.
Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos. Never a dull moment. It’s amazing to see you go from some boxes to a Warhammer Emperor or a folding chair to a bone throne for LARPing. 👍👍
We were talking about Jazza referencing The Sculpture within, which was a big thing with traditional sculptors like Michelangelo. And then how much easier he would have had it if he was using expanding foam, no wonder the dude was angry when he made a mistake the little part that was Supposed to be of the sculpture gets chipped off? too bad! I too would be painting little cherubs giving the finger to the "poor" pope who decides to rip you off xD
Whoa, so much work went into this. And it all came together so well - nothing falling apart - which is amazing. Great job everyone! It turned out so well.
I can absolutely see a movie where Jazza is framed for murder and his fans have to come together to prove him innocent. This video is where the tides turn for Jazza and the fans as they speculate then reveal this statue is how the real Villian got Jazzas finger prints on the murder weapon.
the way my mind immediately went “I wonder if someone could frame him for murder using those” when he said that the statue will have his fingerprints, and this comment makes me feel not insane 😂
Hahaha i thought of what you both said as well but more like hacking into something like this rich artist’s bank account using his fingerprints heist movie style
I'm old enough to remember that was the plot of a CSI episode. This guy made props and Halloween decorations that were very popular. Once he proved anyone could have used his fingerprints, the plot thickened and went on across several episodes. Not spoiling it in case someone wants to watch it.
Genuinely impressed that he worked so easily with the expanding foam. I'm currently in a sculpture class and using the same material to carve out a sculpture.. it's quite messy. And the air pockets can be an eyesore 😅
25:37 "What are you doing?" "Well the secret is I don't actually know" Murray is me with my art lol. It's honestly comforting to know that someone so talented can feel this way too sometimes 😂❤️
Really amazing project! I love the editing of the video as well. Got to say though, I just watched Nerdforge's video where Martina talks about a secret project involving a cool warrior and based on your title and thumbnail I thought these video were connected lol
Jazza this is amazing man I’m so proud of you and the team. Ive been watching you since 2017 and to see the evaluation of the channel is great ( still love the drawing videos though)
Make a Lord of the Rings Sauron statue next with glowing red-orange eyes and a glowing One Ring on his as he has his other holding his mace raised, ready to smite his foes. This was a really cool project and resulted in an amazing statue.
What an outstanding build. So great to see Murray's talents being shown off - his second 'bigature' recently. Such an enjoyable video, with great storytelling.
Woah, honestly and genuinely. One of the best projects in a while, and that's not to say the projects lately have been bad, they've been great too! I just think this one is really worth the pride put into it.
This looks unreal!!! You guys did an amazing job, I love these big projects you do, ik they take up so much time ans effort but they are so worth cuz this is phenomenal!
This is my new account, but I haven't missed a single one of your videos in at least 6 years. I'm always sending so much love to Jazza and the team! You guys are a big inspiration and positive influence in my life. This turned out phenomenal and I hope it gets the reception it deserves! Also, I definitely would love to see costume work, especially after your Sauron cosplay! As for going bigger.... Dragons, mythical beasts, or life-sized Pokemon/other favorite monsters? 😄
Jazzs videos always better when he’s creating & using his hands to make & create, I prefer these to all digital art, unleash the creative beast, love a bit of spray foam & alginate 😂if we back to these kinds of relaxed masterpiece videos, I’ll be checking in way more often again, nice to have Murray back 😊
I mentioned it on ttt newest video where jen made a power sword, but it would be awesome to see you finish your space bear armour.... or at least do some more fun cosplay stuff... I loved your videos where you made a vr super suit and I love this stuff in general so i am 100% biased.... however it would be so coool!!!! edit: MORE MURRY!!!!!
Maybe testing releases for after work hours (or close to it) here in the Americas? Just to see how that effects views. Idk, but I was thinking the same thing
Looks awesome! 😁 Watching this actually made me think, you and Wicked Makers doing a collab would be really cool. Also, you creating cosplays would be fun too.
Every time Murray starts painting I'm like "ah shit, he's ruined it". Then 30 seconds later I'm like "Alright he's done it again boys. This guy is magic".
Awesome job. This was a time of fun to watch. The glowing hands came out great. Now I want a life size Luke Cage and Iron fist statue based on the comics not the Netflix series though I realize a Netflix or Disney tie in would be ideal for boosting the algorithm.
The sculptor's answer to "i don't draw hands" 😂
im not really sure what the diablo team was expecting you to do with the box of crap they sent you but you did your best to incorporate it lol. statue came out incredibly cool, and the paint job is genuinely phenomenal
I was thinking the same, they had no idea about sculpting i suppose
uh here are these random pieces of broken plates.. you can use those, right?
I cringed watching those people wearing a helmet to break objects.
To be fair, the point clearly was not to improve the sculpture. It was more so a gimmick, to "include and attach value" to the sculpture based on the objects from the people that participated in the event.
@@paniiziima Plate armour xD but yeah i didn't like watching him initially stick his hands in there :/ what was he supposed to do Melt the glass down?
Murray's a BEAST when it comes to painting
The Murray Method is amazing, I've used it for some projects and it can be really helpful, but Murray himself just does it so much better
hey jazza there is something in wood working called a rasp its kind of like a sanding block and a planer in one it goes well with hogging away all that material
You know when people refer as the "ugly phase" of a project?
I feel like Murray's method makes that ugly phase of the paintjob last a while, but once it's done, man... Absolute greatness
agreed, almost up until the end I'm not gonna lie I was doubtful, but then suddenly it sprang to life!
This is genuinely one of the best quality pieces Jazza has made in a long time. Super impressive.
The pipes falling in background two minutes in is too funny for me to ignore.
Jazza, you can spray the expanding foam with water... just a light misting, and it will develop a skin over the surface. This skin lets you move and shape the foam much easier.
There is something different about this video. I love it. I think It's just the less dramaticness? Feels grounded even though the project is huge!
If anything I think it's _MORE_ overdramatized and in your face than usual, at least in the first half, then it's just a regular Jazza video
I think it kinda feels like he doesn’t really want to do this video. Almost all his choices in his mediums were for speed or cost savings, though, with this video being based around a sponsor, I don’t blame his forced enthusiasm.
@@fourthstooge3451yeah i thought i so too
You guys overanalyze thing... It's a normal vid, I guess the "less dramatic" u mention is when he failed? I mean he's doin enough sculpture and learn from his previous mistake so less failure attempt/product in the process. Make the video timeline more smoothly and less "drama"
Ye normally with other videos like this I just skip to the end but he's just took entertaining
The moment Murrya touches a project. It instantly becomes epic. Love the duo of you two creative masterminds❤
"Icing a beefcake"
XD a qoute I never expected to hear from Jazza
That feeling of when you put a bit of yourself into a work of art is so smile inducing. In the case of this- the hands were molded off of your own.
Never thought Diablo would be sponsoring Jazza. I think thats really cool to see!
Isn't the first time Blizzard sponsors Jazza, is it?
@@CapOfXavtable top time did the church from the beginning of the game last year I think.
Didn‘t he do the chalk drawing of entering hell from the chapel? Not sure if sponsored, but it was a Diablo theme.
DUDE I got a photo with this earlier today, had no idea you made it!!
This looks TOO real. In other words, you all are AMAZING artists, and this is SO cool :D
That thing is freaking incredible! If Diablo doesn't want it for their office you need to prominently display it at the front of your building. It's a new level for Jazza studios.
I so wish I could have it. I am playing the character.
This was great! The sculpting, the paint, its just wonderful!
I love seeing Murray branch out into the main channel!
Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos. Never a dull moment. It’s amazing to see you go from some boxes to a Warhammer Emperor or a folding chair to a bone throne for LARPing. 👍👍
Interesting to see how a marshmallow mass moves towards Michelangelo’s David and then ends up in this comic book style.
Have fun at PAX!

@@chantallibra4128 i loved the transitions!
This is incredible, also Murray might be one of the most incredible painters alive today.
Jazza, this video has it all!!! A culmination of every single thing I've loved about this channel throughout the years. THANK YOU!
Whoa, so much work went into this. And it all came together so well - nothing falling apart - which is amazing. Great job everyone! It turned out so well.
Yeesss a new video. I've been binge watching Jazza videos for days
Great to see the Murray method rolled out embiggened! Top video, and an awesome result :D
12:00 little girl squeal of excitement, love it 😂

That paint job is insane I would love to be able to paint like that
this statue is gorgeous holy crap???? y'all did a GREAT job

should have put a colour filter in front of the lights.. :) would make the colour in the hands show better..
love it
Five minutes in and I've already enjoyed this video more than most others I've seen in weeks. What a massively cool project.
Really amazing project! I love the editing of the video as well. Got to say though, I just watched Nerdforge's video where Martina talks about a secret project involving a cool warrior and based on your title and thumbnail I thought these video were connected lol
All us cosplayers in the audience chanting "ONE OF US! ONE OF US!"
Always love a bit of Murray
the Murry method strikes again
Damn that paint job is sick
looks like 2D art form any angle
He LOOKS like a concept art painting! Mind-blowing job you guys
Awesome work as usual jazza!!❤🎉
Jazza would you be down to revisit the world of tattooing? Maybe do a huge backpiece on fake skin. That would be amazing!!!
I'd love to see you sculpt some baby dragons, then colab with Ben's works to make dragon eggs out of them
The Guy @the-end, HOLY *smokes* O.O Every color is involved and he nailed that weathered look
Popping back in after watching your videos for 7 years here and there. Love everything you do. Rock on
Jazza this is amazing man I’m so proud of you and the team. Ive been watching you since 2017 and to see the evaluation of the channel is great ( still love the drawing videos though)
This statue is just amazing. Paint job and sculpting are just beautiful.
Seriously amazing! Jazza, Amy, and Murray did a fantastic job and this video is so fun and full of energy XD
Would love to see a quick follow up video of the statue at PAX!
This is insanely epic! 🎉 Looks incredible and all the details are so well done. It's really cool to see everything come together!
I've said it once and I've gotta say it again, Murray's painting is amazing.
The amount of talent and patience you have is insane! Kudos man 👏🏼❤
Make a Lord of the Rings Sauron statue next with glowing red-orange eyes and a glowing One Ring on his as he has his other holding his mace raised, ready to smite his foes.
This was a really cool project and resulted in an amazing statue.
So cute to see Jazza so genuinely pleased with a project 🥰
I just love the loyalty between Jazza and Blizzard
21:19 jazza upside down really got me
It gets me motivated to work on projects when the artists are so lit about their work ^_^ 12:20
Maury definitely has a “trust the process” way of painting 😂 as someone who used to professionally paint minis it’s incredible what he does
You are insanely talented!! Love how this turned out!! How cool are all the light up parts!! Just amazing!!
You and your team absolutely killed it! Amazing job! This looks SICK!

Edit: It is!

Try cutting glass and ceramics under water. They won't shatter and can be cut into shapes easier
Wow you've outdone yourself. The sculpture is beautiful
You did such a cool job with this! The sculpture looks amazing
This turned out AMAZING! Your videos are definitelly reaching another level. Congrats!
Outro to this week's emperor build says "Hold my beer..." Murray is the best! Cheers from Southern California! 🍻

I love Diablo and this video was great!
Jazza put more love and thought into this than the entire Blizzard team did with Diablo IV.
Looks amazing! You need to get a pressure or vacuum pot to get rid of the bubbles in your resin casts.
I had a student make an 8ft sculpture a few years ago using this expanding foam insulation stuff. It’s very versatile!
