      IIRC back in the day there *was* a bed sheet that had this design on it, I distinctly remember seeing both this map and the map for Super Mario World as bedsheet when I was a kid but that was, like 30 years ago now so maybe my old memory is playing tricks on me.

    the first time a sponsored video has made me want to actually purchase the product. everything came out so clean and being able to do multi color reduces the need of printing multiple parts and assembling them. love it.

      Start with something smaller to see if you like it because printers have so many issues and if something can go wrong it will go wrong but obviously the more expensive printers are more reliable but it’s good to have it go wrong and learn what can happen and it would be cheaper if you don’t like the hobby

      IKR? I would die to have one of these but there is no room in our apartment. My husband is not techy and he'd be like WTF. It doesn't put him in awe like I get. Locations aside, the entire map is brimming with realism! The grass looks authentic, those 3-D printed rock faces really shine, the water has such a full look to it, and the 3-D printers really did knock it out of the park with those houses and trees! Your staff did an amazing job in helping pull this project together, too! I haven't seen a sculpted land project of this caliber before, in detail or size! A word of advice to people looking at 3D Printers, Bambu Labs printers are currently the best cheap printers on the market as well as the most user friendly. However, this comes at the cost of Bambu Labs being closed source.
    3D printing in almost every case is a very DIY hobby, from upgrades, modeling, repairs and more 3D printers are most often built in such a way that you are always in control. For example, 3D printing businesses sometimes will build custom solutions like self flexing beds and sweeping arms that are not currently on any kind of out of box printer.
    Bambu Labs printers do not have this possibility as closed source hardware and software. This is more of a warning than it is a negative as your ability to modify and repair the products you purchase will be greatly reduced compared to something like a Creality printer.

    • @seanzhouz3478
      @seanzhouz3478 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @guspaz
      @guspaz 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think for most users, the printer hardware/firmware being closed-source isn't going to affect them. Their printers are very repairable (all the parts you'd need to replace are cheaply available, with video guides), and there are tons of printable add-ons and mods for the printers. There's even a third-party automatic multi-plate system coming out soon for the A1 Mini, which takes a multi-plate print and automatically ejects the previous build plate and loads a new one, for unattended uninterrupted multi-plate printing.

    Dear Jazza, thank you for this build and all of your amazing work. I'm very glad you are feeling better and have new content coming. Don't worry about TH-cam being harder now, people are always going to need free content to help them learn and grow. I understand that membership is important. I wish I could join a lot of people's channels, unfortunately, here in America, the amount of money they give to the disabled population is not much at all. I miss my job so much. My body is changing too rapidly for me to work again. I am trying new creative things though. I have learned to knit on a round loom which would not have been possible without TH-cam stuff being free, so keep being amazing and bringing joy to people. The algorithm is unable to factor in emotions like joy and excitement. If you bought a round loom and learned to make a hat, that would be awesome.
