Some of you have been asking about the few moments of gameplay in the background... The game is called "Outlast". The reason for it being in the video is that a lot of the "interesting moments" in the movie, are so shaky and choppy (because of it's 24 frames per second), that the original cut of the video was almost unwatchable. So I could either play a few movie clips over and over again or include something else. So I put in some outlast gameplay to make those segments more smooth. (Check it out if you haven't, by the way, it's really good). And next time I won't let any one of you get first comment.
1) What school would allow the first version of the play to take place? 2) What school wouldn't immediately after the accident, ban the play from ever being mentioned, actioned or discussed in the school ever again?
If I were the spirit I would’ve been happy that they destroyed the set of the same play that killed me. “Really?! They’re bringing back this play at the school?! Oh hey, these guys stopped it from happening. Thanks guys!”
They go back because horror movies try to make their characters realistic and if you still doubt this ask yourself why this pandemic is lasting for over 1 year now.
Like the moment I realized the ghost wanted revenge because my dad was supposed to be in the role that got him killed I’d have laughed found a way out ignored the girl and just walked home shaking my head because that is quite possibly the greatest leap in logic I’ve ever seen to justify murdering teenagers
Ghost: You called in sick just so you wouldn't be in the play, thus making me die to an accident that wasn't your fault in any way as you had no way of knowing what would happen, so I'm just going to kill your son and his friends because they totally deserve it. Also I'm going to get my living family in on this as well despite whatever consequences it might have on their lives and potentially turn them into serial killers. And remember, this is all your fault because you felt too unwell to die in an accident.
I wouldn’t blame a father for never telling his kid’s he was in theater, mainly from the whole somebody died for me part, people would try to avoid that subject. As for the kid never noticing his father in the picture, I never looked at that stuff, I just walked to class or talked with friends, but that’s just me, I’m sure plenty of people looked at that stuff.
I honestly wondered about that as well... like why jump through all these completely pointless hoops to create a new controversial play, when you can just go up to Reese's house. I think the the epilogue was done after everything else, so it didn't have to make sense... it was probably just added for a final jump scare (like how 99% of horror movies do).

I think because the daughter and mother were more or less invoking Charlie he was bound to them, allowing the ability to come into their home. That being said, this was a case of revenge by way of eye for an eye. Since Charlie died because he replaced Reese's dad, the plan was to kill Reese' by re enacting that scene. More or less pseudo karmatic justice. At least that's my take.
@@BadBoyBobby1 That bugged me to. The only thing I can think of is that when Charlie died there was an investigation, and these two officers were involved. Because it was ruled an accidental death, they were probably made part of the revenge plan. Because I still don't know why the police showed up to their house in the first place.
But i don't think Hitstart would have any chance because this time, he cannot analyse the traps that long and the situation in general would be completely different.
He wins if he get the traps with the wire to start it, he will have infinite time, if he do not trigger it. The traps that involve cutting off chunks of flesh or limbs, I do not see that going well, unless there are gears, or some way of tricking or jamming the trap.
I actually knew the main character Reese. He was the lead in my Senior Directorial in high school. He learned all the lines in a week after my original lead got caught with pot and suspended.
i've watched a couple of your videos over the last few days and came back to like every one that I saw. Honestly, thank you so much for doing this! As someone who is curious about such movies but cannot watch anything related to horror for fear of peeing myself, I appreciate this a lot ^^ Thanks man :D
My sister used to tell me that this story was based at my junior high school (7-8th grade) because apparently there was this janitor named Charlie who hung himself for some reason. She also told me that some shots were actually filmed in the school. I just remembered this movie exists, and idk why but I had to share it I guess Edit: At 8:17 I have that exact same fake tree in my room lmfao

I'm surprised that the Charlie character died so quick since everybody reacted right away. Plus it was an accident so Charlie the horror villain. Doesn't have an excuse for killing people. The movie was awesome I absolutely enjoyed the twist. At the end. I'm so glad that they made a sequel . Loved that 1 to.
The only way Reese could have prevented his death and support Pfiefer if the set was destroyed by Ryan and Cassidy was if he said no and wanted nothing to do with Ryan’s plan.
After the door locked I would just hit the fire alarm and tell them that I heard something going on.... And got locked in I'm guessing that's gonna work
so the whole movie could have been beaten by avoiding him dying to the dumb hanging mistake xD , and also like you said, i think you could dropkick the wooden door pretty easily

If any of these characters were at least a bit superstitious none of this would've happened, i think theatre superstitions are kinda talked about at the start of the movie but they dismiss it lmao

Why not have it where Ryan did something that broke the door that day? It would have negated the issue about the picture.

I don't think i have ever seen so many plot holes in a film that's also so simple with almost no science fiction elements.
I agree. The writers needed to tighten up the framework of the story. The sad thing was many of these only needed 1-2 tweaks to resolve the problems.
