Pretty much nothing about zombies is consistent across all zombie media.
Beyond them being cannibalistic murder machines that is. They don't even technically have to be undead to be classified as zombies.

Therefore, it alludes that the undead nazis weren’t killing for shits and giggles, they were just guarding a
Burial mound/the treasures of a burial site.
E.g.) “last survivor” ends up being killed after the student realizes he still had one of the Draugrs gold coins. He prob still would have died due to disturbing the burial site.

Herzog does have a pretty badass voice. Also he yelled "aufstehen" which doesn't directly mean arise but more "get up" , which I would have found much more gallows humor in.
It's actually quite common to become disoriented when caught in an avalanche. With your body tightly wedged in snow it becomes much harder for your proprioception sense to determine where your weight is pushing. People are also very likely to have injuries, including head trauma, throwing the body into shock and further limiting our ability to determine our spatial awareness.

Don't underestimate desorientation in extreme conditions. It happens way more often than one could hope. Divers can lose track of where is up and where is down, people who freeze to death can think that it's too hot. Losing orientation in deep snow is no that impossible.

The way that these zombies move and how hyper violent they are really sets a intense atmosphere. They aren't slow and stupid, they chase you down and pull you apart or stab you 100 times

This is so much better than watching a movie,
It reminds me of older times when i used to watch movies with friends or my brother.
There was always 1 or 2 who would criticize or comment on stuff, I really love this channel...
19:25 If that really was his carotid artery that got severed, he'd've bled out in less than a minute. My guess is that he figured it'd be best to close up a wound that left such a vital artery more exposed rather than just let it bleed.
So as a Norwegian who grew up with this movie, there are a few things to point out: The girlfriend didn't show up with an axe in her neck, but rather while Martin was fighting zombies, she tapped his shoulder without letting him know she was there verbally first, which caused Martin to swing and subsequently bury his axe in her neck in a rush of adrenaline, making her death totally avoidable. Secondly, most places in Norway where you don't have reception, you can still phone emergency numbers (police, ambulance, firefighters), which they mention early in the movie, but they still should have made that call when they first confronted the zombies. Third, as explored in the sequel (which goes absolutely nuts, and focuses more on comedy/action than horror) the key to ridding the curse is to kill Herzog, as his greed is what brought the zombies back.

The edges of the carotid would likely be retracted up into the skull -- his odds of hooking it with that hook are small, and the odds of suturing it without tearing it and having not even a mirror, near null. Enough pressure could control most of the bleeding, but that kind of injury has a high stroke rate so dubious outlook at best.

It's actually surprisingly common for someone stuck in an avalanche to lose their sence of direction. I don't know about digging in the wrong direction for that long but it is apparently very disorientating
Well when you get caught your dragged down with the snow until it stops moving. Your spinning and hitting your head and most likely going to break a couple bones. It’s extremely easy to lose your sense of direction and your not really thinking straight.
